ORAS OU Mega diancie team

Hello smogon i just want to put my new mega diancie team which has won me 8 battles in a row so i decided to share this team with everyone its based around mega diancie which in my opinon has to be one of the best megas in oras period due to it getting magic bounce hidden power fire stab coverage and a high base attack stats while maintaing some defenses so lets get right to the team.

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Power Whip

To kick the team of is the main physical wall with some special defense invested this thing is ment to be a tank for walling anything like azumarill ( only fearing superpower) we can alose avoid toxics with this granted we arent able to wall charizard x's with this thing but sometimes charizards uses ferro as a setup fodder so if it ends up going for flare blitz it will weaken it down enough ( including if you have a leech seed up) its also ment to get rid of faster sweepers with gyro ball gain recovery with leech seed set stealth rocks up and power whip is there for stab coverage.

Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 242 HP / 16 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Healing Wish
- Defog
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor

Next up we have the deffoger of the team i put a lot of hp investment more then special attack because serperior with dragon pulse + life orb is a guarenteed 2 ohko i know how specially defensive latias can be while maintaing speed to outpace garchomps ( unless choice scarf) speed tie with gengars which we'll be good enough to live a shadow ball even when life orb healing wish is there just incase one of my pokemon that i need the most on the team gets a status condition or gets weak if latias ends up becoming usless then i would the healing wish and heal up who ever needs it and of course defog is to get rid of rocks psyshock and draco meteor are there because ther both STAB plus life orb making it a hard hitting tank.

Talonflame @ Leftovers
663.gif

Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Bulk Up
- Will-O-Wisp
- Brave Bird
- Roost
next we got one of OU's top threats in the metagame to be honest it was either this set or a choice band set but i was thinking this team could use priority and a slightly little bit of bulk so i just when with the bulk of set ( no pun intended) but anyway this can perfectly switch on off a scizor and catch a lot of mons off guard like landorus azumarill ferrothorn with like a burn thats why willo wisp is on there then of course you got bulk up which of course increases attack and defense theres not really anything to say about that lol, then last we got roost and brave bird which are the 2 priority moves to heal up and just hit hard with the bulk ups setup its necessarily a hard hitting tank as well. ( only fearing whirlwind for bulk up )
642-therian.gif

Thundurus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
Then next we got our scarfer which is something i need to outpace most of water types and grounds types this is more of a standard scarf set but this thing can hit hard to of couse you got volt switch to gain momentum thunderbolt is there for a hard hitting STAB electric type move hidden power ice which is for garchomps landorus so basically coverage for ground types and then theres focus blast i was making a decision to either use this move or sludge wave for flash cannon but i chose focus blast because of high base attack stat of 120. which hits steel types and dark types hard.
342.gif

Crawdaunt @ Focus Sash
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 SpA
- Dragon Dance
- Crabhammer
- Knock Off
- Aqua Jet
Next we got this thing that usually puts me in a winning position a lot of times i cant explain how many times i was almost going to lose a battle but this thing gave me a lot of comebacks its an excellent wall breaker first we got dragon dance which is my win check move ( I chose jolly BTW so if i setup a dragon dance we wont be outsped that easily with at least 1 or 2 dragon dances setup) then we got crab hammer which is crawdaunts strongest STAB move ( in terms of a physical sweeper) it has then we got knock off which of course knocks an opponents item off i was think of choosing crunch but i chose knock off to get rid of rocky helmet users choice bands scarfs specs etc, then the last move which is aqua jet which is just there for priority to kill of choice scarf landorus ( if not intimidated) with ease or kill off lots of super effective stab crawdaunts power is also boosted by adaptability which is terrifying .

diancie-mega.gif

Diancie-Mega @ Diancite
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Protect
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
Then last but definitely not least is the beautiful queen herself diancie which again has to be one of the best megas in oras period ok altho she has a low hp stat she makes up for it in terms of bulk but of course you got magic bounce which usually counters a lot of hazard setup mons ( sometimes it can counter ferrothorn) its got protect so it can just get the mega stats which her speed goes fro a sluggish speed of 50 to a whooping speed of 110 moonblast is there to hit hard for STAB diamond storm is there to counter lots of special walls like chansey which gets 2koed if its not holding eviolite even with eviolite your still doing a ton of damage then earth powers is there for steel types like heatran excarill jirachi mega aggron etc. At the ight moment this thing can pick up a sweep during the right moment of the battle.

Well there you have it theres the team i hope it helps enjoy using it on showdown :)

I'd suggest changing dragon dance on Crawdaunt for Swords Dance. It helps Talonflame more by removing bulky walls. Even with Jolly, at +1 is not that fast and easily revenged killed.

You might want to change M-Diancie nature to Naive too as Rock has better physical resistances (normal, flying) than special. Plus makes it better to check Talonflame or other types of priority

Ehy :)
My Suggest for your team is to change the spread on
latias.png
in 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe. The given EV spread lets Latias avoid the 2HKO from Life Orb Thundurus's Hidden Power Ice without Stealth Rock damage and also hits a Life Orb number. Roost>Healing Wish for help you against

and

. Hidden power Fire is a good option because your team is a very weak at

Change the set on
crawdaunt.png
in SwordsDance, Adaptability and SwordsDance are the reason why Crawdaunt is such a powerful and efficient wallbreaker, and it's what gives Crawdaunt its niche. 252 Speed EVs combined with a Jolly nature allow Crawdaunt to outspeed many common defensive Pokemon such as

after Stealth Rock damage. or the one that most you should Relaxed 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD, the given EV spread with a Relaxed nature lets Ferrothorn fare well against both physically and specially oriented opponents. 168 Special Defense EVs give Ferrothorn enough special bulk to survive two Ice Beams from +3

Change the spread and set on

in 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe, Gale Wings gives Talonflame priority on Acrobatics, which enables it to both revenge kill weakened foes and sweep after a few boosts, and priority on Roost, enabling it to stall out fast foes and play around fast Volt Switch users. Talonflame runs no item on this set to increase the power of Acrobatics and switch into Knock Offs from the likes of Bisharp and Landorus-T. Maximizing Talonflame's Special Defense enables it to switch into special attackers such as Mega Charizard Y, Mega Altaria, Clefable and, to a lesser extent, Gengar. 8 Speed EVs enable Talonflame to outspeed and burn neutral-natured Kyurem-B. 60 Speed can also be run in order to outspeed Jolly Excadrill.

Hey man cool team, I really like Crawdaunt on this build as it check Sand and break talon's checks, however, it needs Life Orb to effectivelly break things. In terms of threats Keldeo is really problematic especially when you Latias doesnt have roost. I would to help you with some things bout sets and Ev spread that help your team for sure.
  • Ferrothorn needs to be Sassy with an spread of 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD, with this ev spread and nature allow you to take on threats like Manaphy, Fairies and Lati@s, the nature is for power up your Gyro Ball. For item Chopple is the best choice, however, Shed Shell could be really usefull against Zone + Threat team.
  • Latios > Latias this give you more power and you don't need a second check for Serperior as Talon handle it pretty well. Latios check Keldeo while put enough pressure on balance teams.
  • Give Talonflame a bit of speed just to beat opposing BU Talon if comes to that, I personally think 296 is a good benchmark.
  • Naive>Hasty on Diancie as you wanna take more confortably hits like Brave Birds, Mach Punch and Sucker punch. Also HP Fire> EPower as Diamond had really nice chance to 2hko tran with rocks up.
  • And last Sword Dance > DD and Life Orb>Focus Sash on Crawdaunt, with this changes Crawdaunt become an amazing wallbreaker, as can handle stall by its own and also HKO Excadrill with Aqua Jet as your team struggle a bit with it.
Latios @ Life Orb
