Mega Garchomp is a staple on Ground teams as a mixed wallbreaker because of its good typing, solid coverage, and fantastic offensive stats. Thanks to its part-Dragon typing and solid physical bulk, Mega Garchomp survives +6 Azumarill's Aqua Jet and +2 Mega Gyarados's Waterfall. With Stone Edge and Fire Blast, Mega Garchomp threatens Skarmory and fast offensive Flying-types like Gyarados and Mega Charizard Y. Sand Force strengthens Earthquake and Stone Edge, making Mega Garchomp a more potent wallbreaker under sand. Garchomp's Speed tier allows it to outspeed Landorus and base 100 Speed foes such as offensive Volcarona and Mega Charizard Y. However, upon Mega Evolving, it no longer outpaces base 95 Speed foes like Hydreigon. Despite its decent Speed and good bulk, Mega Garchomp is still vulnerable to revenge killers such as Deoxys-S and Choice Specs Keldeo.

Earthquake is Mega Garchomp's most spammable STAB move, and when boosted by Sand Force, it can OHKO Keldeo after Stealth Rock. Draco Meteor dents physically defensive walls like Rotom-W and Slowbro and OHKOes Dragon-types such as Latios, Hydreigon, and opposing Garchomp. Stone Edge hits Flying-types like Mega Charizard Y, Gyarados, Tornadus-T, and Zapdos. Fire Blast targets Ground-immune Steel-types such as Skarmory and Bronzong, Bug-types like Heracross and Mega Scizor, and Grass-types such as Breloom and Celebi. Sand Force makes Earthquake and Stone Edge more powerful in sand, letting Mega Garchomp break through Mega Venusaur.

Mega Garchomp can use its special attacks to wear down physically defensive walls that impede Excadrill and Mamoswine from making progress, like Rotom-W and Skarmory. Hippowdon switches into physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Gallade and sets Stealth Rock and sand, allowing Mega Garchomp to utilize Sand Force. It can also use Eject Button to safely bring in Mega Garchomp while maximizing the number of sand turns it can use. Excadrill in sand checks most of Mega Garchomp's offensive answers, including Latios, Mega Diancie, Weavile, and Deoxys-S. Mamoswine revenge kills weakened threats with Ice Shard while checking fast Dragon- and Flying-types like Latios and Gliscor. Landorus can topple physically defensive walls, cripple Chansey with Knock Off, and set Gravity, allowing Garchomp to freely spam Earthquake. Gastrodon and Seismitoad are Water-immune teammates that can situationally switch into Choice-locked Keldeo and Kingdra. Gastrodon fits better on balance teams thanks to its reliable recovery, while Seismitoad complements offense teams with its superior Speed tier and Knock Off. Nidoking can help break through defensive cores against Steel and Flying teams and set Toxic Spikes to wear down some of Mega Garchomp's defensive answers like Porygon2 and Slowbro.

Special Attack investment allows Mega Garchomp to deal more damage to bulkier foes such as Mega Heracross, Rotom-W, and Bronzong. However, maximum Attack investment lets Mega Garchomp more appropriately deal with Gyarados and Azumarill. Using Substitute instead of Stone Edge helps Mega Garchomp avoid status and proves useful when facing Bisharp's Sucker Punch and Sharpedo's Protect, but it makes Mega Garchomp unable to check Flying-types with high Special Defense like Mega Charizard Y and Assault Vest Tornadus-T. Mega Garchomp may opt to use Stealth Rock over Draco Meteor, as its offensive presence helps it keep Stealth Rock up more easily against Flying teams than Hippowdon. Although, without Draco Meteor, Mega Garchomp can't deal significant damage to Latios, Rotom-W, and opposing Garchomp. Swords Dance is a niche option over Draco Meteor that helps Mega Garchomp break through Mega Venusaur and Porygon2; however, Mega Garchomp's middling Speed tier makes it a lackluster setup sweeper.

**Physically Defensive Walls**: Porygon2 easily tanks Mega Garchomp's attacks and threatens to OHKO it with Ice Beam. Gliscor can freely switch into Mega Garchomp and wear it down with Toxic and Earthquake. While Slowbro can answer Mega Garchomp outside of sand, its inability to survive Sand Force-boosted Earthquake + Draco Meteor makes it an unreliable check in sand.

**Revenge Killers**: Deoxys-S can outpace and OHKO Mega Garchomp with Ice Beam, and Thundurus and Choice Specs Keldeo can also outspeed it and threaten to KO after Stealth Rock with Hidden Power Ice and Focus Blast, respectively. Mega Garchomp also has to watch out for faster threats that sometimes carry Hidden Power Ice, like Cobalion and Landorus.

**Status**: Burn inhibits Mega Garchomp's ability to operate as a mixed wallbreaker. It lacks recovery, so Toxic will put Mega Garchomp on a timer and allow walls like Chansey and Hippowdon to outlast it.

Overview:
- Can mention the fact that Garchomp loses its unique speed tier upon Mega evolving, letting it get outsped by mons like Hydreigon
Set comments:
"Hippowdon sets Stealth Rocks and sand, permitting Mega Garchomp to abuse Sand Force, and switches into physical attackers like Mega Lopunny and Mega Gallade"
- Mention Eject Button helping bring Garchomp in safely and maximizing the number of sand turns it can abuse

"Excadrill in sand checks faster threats like Weavile, Thundurus, and Deoxys-S."
- Add a little more to this. Maybe something about how they both form a terrifying wallbreaking, sand abusing core.
C&C:
- I would specifically note under revenge killers that so many Pokemon carry HP Ice just to lure mons like Garchomp. Add Cobalion and Landorus as examples for this as well.
- Add Gliscor to physically defensive walls? Ik it's not explicitly a physically defensive wall but it definitely completely walls chomper so I think it's worth adding somewhere in C&C

Nice work, 1/2

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types like Mega Diancie and Choice Scarf Gardevoir can outpace and OHKO Mega Garchomp with Moonblast. Bulky Mega Gardevoir can live an Earthquake from Mega Garchomp and retaliate with a Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice. Moonblast from Gardevoir isn't a guaranteed OHKO

**Ice-types**: Weavile can outspeed and OHKO Mega Garchomp with Icicle Crash and Choice Band Mamoswine can OHKO it with Ice Shard. [Kyub outspeeds its mega form, its prob notable to include that after the weavile point or just restructure this from Weavile -> Kyub -> Mamoswine.

looks good 2/2

Ground
========

Mega Garchomp is a staple on Ground teams as a mixed wallbreaker thanks to its great typing, solid coverage, and fantastic offensive stats. Mega Garchomp's Its Dragon typing makes it neutral to Grass- and Water-type attacks, allowing it to survive a +6 Aqua Jet from Azumarill and a +2 Waterfall from Mega Gyarados and while tanking Giga Drains from Mega Venusaur and Celebi. Mega Garchomp's Its Fire resistance lets it Mega Garchomp have an easier time taking on Victini, Mega Charizard Y, and offensive Volcarona. As a result of its 4x weakness to Ice, Mega Garchomp is subject to being KO'd by Ice-type attacks even by Pokemon with no Special Attack investment like Porygon2. is this relevant? the reader knows garchomp is 4x weak to ice Its access to Fire Blast and Stone Edge allows it Mega Garchomp to threaten a variety of Pokemon that annoy Ground teams, (AC) such as Skarmory, Mega Heracross, Gyarados, and Mega Charizard Y. Rough Skin lets Garchomp penalize Pokemon attacking it with contact moves before it has Mega Evolved. Sand Force strengthens Earthquake and Stone Edge, making Mega Garchomp a more potent wallbreaker under sand set by Hippowdon (or any other relevant sand setter). Garchomp suffers a drop in Speed after Mega Evolving, becoming slower than Landorus, Hydreigon, and Pokemon with base 100s Speed like Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona. Despite its decent Speed and good bulk, Mega Garchomp is still prone to being revenge killed killing from faster threats such as Deoxys-S and Choice Specs Keldeo.

Earthquake is Mega Garchomp's most spammable STAB move, and in sand, it can OHKO Keldeo after prior chip damage and 2HKO physically defensive Mega Venusaur. Draco Meteor deals more damage to physically defensive walls like Rotom-W and Slowbro, (AC) as well as and Dragon-types such as Latios, Hydreigon, and opposing Garchomp. thought it would be good to differentiate these two groups Stone Edge hits Flying-types like Mega Charizard Y, Gyarados, Mandibuzz, and Zapdos. Fire Blast targets Steel-types that are neutral or immune to Ground such as Skarmory, Bronzong, and Ferrothorn;, (AC & remove semicolon) Bug-types with a neutrality to Rock like Heracross, Mega Scizor, and Durant;, (AC & remove semicolon) and Grass-types such as Breloom and Celebi. Rough Skin lets Garchomp chip foes attacking it with a contact move., (AC & remove period) and Sand Force makes Earthquake and Stone Edge more powerful in sand, letting it break through... x, y, z more easily. providing examples can help make this more impactful to the reader, if there are any. Maximum Speed investment with a Naive nature allows Garchomp to outpace Landorus and base 100 Speed foes like Mega Charizard Y and offensive Volcarona. this paragraph felt choppy so i tried to connect sentences a bit

Ground teams rely on Mega Garchomp to check Mega Charizard Y and deal with Water-type setup sweepers such as Mega Gyarados and Belly Drum Azumarill. It can use its special attacks to wear down physically defensive walls, (AC) for its teammates like Rotom-W and Slowbro, (AC) for its teammates. Hippowdon sets Stealth Rocks and sand, allowing Mega Garchomp to abuse Sand Force, and switches into physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Gallade. It can also may use Eject Button to help bring Mega Garchomp in safely and while maximizing maximize the number of sand turns it can abuse. felt like this connected these two ideas better Excadrill in sand can check almost all of Mega Garchomp's offensive answers like Latios, Mega Diancie, Weavile, and Deoxys-Speed. Mega Garchomp uses its mixed set to take on some of the physically defensive walls that Excadrill cannot, such as Skarmory. Mamoswine revenge kills weakened threats with Ice Shard and checks while checking faster Dragon-types, (AC) like Latios and Latias, (AC) and Flying-types, (AC) such as Thundurus and Gliscor. Landorus can weaken physically defensive walls like Slowbro with its powerful special attacks, cripple Eviolite users such as Porygon2 and Chansey with Knock Off, and set Gravity, allowing Garchomp to freely spam Earthquake and its other less reliable moves. Gastrodon is a specially defensive wall with reliable recovery and an immunity to Water, allowing it to switch into special attackers, (AC) like Landorus and Kingdra, (AC) and spread status with Scald burns and Toxic. Seismitoad is an alternative Water-immune teammate with access to Knock Off, allowing it to cripple the aforementioned Eviolite users holders. Nidoking assists Mega Garchomp in breaking through defensive cores against Steel and Flying teams with its Fire- and Ice-type coverage. It may also set Toxic Spikes so that physically defensive walls like Slowbro can no longer switch into Mega Garchomp with sand up. this paragraph kind of reads strangely because every sentence has the exact same structure - i think that changing up some of the beginning of each sentences from "x teammate is" with transitions and different language for each sentence will make it slightly more interesting to read? honestly don't think that every single idea here needs an example tbh... you mention "physically defensive walls like slowbro" like 6 times in the analysis for example

Mega Garchomp can invest in Special Attack instead of Attack to deal more damage to physically defensive walls with Draco Meteor and Fire Blast. like Rotom-W with Draco Meteor and Steel-, Grass-, and Bug-types such as Skarmory, Celebi, and Mega Heracross respectively with Fire Blast. However, Mega Garchomp prefers investing in Attack so that it can more appropriately deal with threats that it must use its physical attacks against, (AC) like Gyarados and Azumarill. Using Substitute over Stone Edge helps prevent Mega Garchomp from being statused burned or poisoned and may prove useful when facing Bisharp's Sucker Punch and Sharpedo's Protect, at the cost of being able to hit . Dropping Stone Edge results in Mega Garchomp no longer being able to deal with Flying-types like Mega Charizard Y, Tornadus-T, and Zapdos super effectively. Mega Garchomp may opt to use Stealth Rock over Draco Meteor as its offensive presence helps it keep Stealth Rock up more easily does a better job of keeping them up against Flying teams than Hippowdon. Without Draco Meteor, Mega Garchomp is unable won't be able to hit Latios, (AC) and physically defensive walls like Slowbro, (AC) for much damage. Swords Dance is a niche option over Draco Meteor that lets Mega Garchomp have an easier time breaking through Mega Venusaur and Porygon2; (add semicolon & remove period) however, . Mega Garchomp isn't fast enough to sweep with Swords Dance in most matchups and is prone to will likely being revenge killed soon after attaining any boosts.

**Dragon-types**: Although they cannot switch in safely, faster Faster Dragon-types such as Latias and Latios can OHKO Mega Garchomp with Draco Meteor.

**Fairy-types**: Mega Diancie and Choice Scarf Gardevoir both outspeed Mega Garchomp - while Mega Diancie OHKOes it outright, Gardevoir needs slight chip damage to KO it. can outspeed and OHKO Mega Garchomp with Moonblast and Choice Scarf Gardevoir can outpace Mega Garchomp and KO it with Moonblast after prior chip damage. Bulky Mega Gardevoir can also live an Earthquake from Mega Garchomp and retaliate with a Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice.

**Ice-types**: Weavile and Kyurem-B can outspeed and OHKO Mega Garchomp if switched in safely. with Icicle Crash, Kyurem-B can outpace and OHKO Mega Garchomp with Ice Beam, and Choice Band Mamoswine can also OHKO it with Ice Shard.

**Physically Defensive Walls**: Porygon2 easily tanks Mega Garchomp's attacks and threatens to OHKO it with Ice Beam. Gliscor can freely switch into Mega Garchomp and wear it down with Toxic poison and Earthquake. While Slowbro can answer Mega Garchomp outside of sand, its inability to survive a Sand Force-boosted Earthquake + Draco Meteor makes it an unreliable check in sand. Slowbro can switch into Mega Garchomp outside of sand and threaten to burn it with Scald, but when sand is up, it fears getting KO'd by a Sand Force-boosted Earthquake into Draco Meteor.

**Revenge Killers**: Deoxys-S can outpace and OHKO Mega Garchomp with Ice Beam, (AC & remove period) and . Thundurus and Choice Scarf Magnezone can also outspeed Mega Garchomp and KO with Hidden Power Ice after prior chip damage. Pokemon Faster threats like Cobalion and Landorus can sometimes carry Hidden Power Ice to help revenge kill lure those with a 4x weakness such as Mega Garchomp, Gliscor, and opposing Landorus. could you combine the point above (with weav, kyub, mamo) to "ice-types and ice-type coverage"? i'm saying this because all of the focus in this point is on ice moves

**Status**: Burns inhibit Mega Garchomp's ability to operate as a mixed wallbreaker severely. It lacks any form of recovery, so Toxic poisons will put Mega Garchomp on a timer and may allow walls like Chansey and Hippowdon to outlast outlive it.

same stuff about sentence structure as the teammates paragraph above

Unless another QC member disagrees, I'll remove the Rough Skin mention since it isn't a huge factor in the few matchups where Garchomp doesn't opt to immediately Mega Evolve. Thank you for the check!
