ORAS OU Mega Gardevoir Focused Team! [My first RMT!]

Hello! This is my first post, so please don't criticize me too badly. Anyways, this is my Mega Gardevoir focused team! Mega Gardevoir is one of the most dangerous megas in all of OU. With a blistering base speed, special defense and special attack, it's feared for a reason. So, let's get right into the team!
First up: Mega Gardevoir
mega_gardevoir_shiny_gif_by_rollsecgtz-d7tr8v8.gif

Black Widow (Gardevoir) @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock / Psychic
- Will - O - Wisp
- Shadow Ball / Focus Blast

What Gardevoir is supposed to is break holes through physical attackers like Weavile, Landorus-T, or Garchomp and then proceed to break through the rest of their team. I almost opted for Calm Mind instead of Will-o, but then I realized that her Def isn't that great, and there are a lot of physical attackers in the OU metagame. Hyper Voice is nice STAB that nearly every Mega Gardevoir has, and Psyshock or Psychic is also STAB boosted, but Psyshock has less power, buuuut makes it harder for special walls to deal with her. Shadow Ball and Focus Blast is tricky. She has a weakness to both Ghost types and Steel types, so either one can work.

After Mega Gardevoir, I decided to play in the sandbox that is OU.

Reptar (Tyranitar) @ Leftovers / Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 126 HP / 126 Def / 56 SpD / 200 Atk
Sassy Nature
- Pursuit
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

This is a simple, bulky support Tyranitar. It can take a psychic type it, then when said psychic type switches out, it can Pursuit trap it and maybe knock it out. Stealth Rock is there because I needed rocks on my team. Earthquake is a powerful move that takes care of Tyranitar's Steel weakness. And Stone Edge is his best STAB move.

After Tyranitar, I decided to go for something that can go well with it.

530.gif

Jish (Excadrill) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Iron Head
- Protect

I wanted a physical attacker that can break through teams. He's adamant, and nobody but Chansey and Mega Sableye can take a sand boosted Earthquake. Rapid Spin is just to get the rocks away. Iron Head is for STAB and for the flying types. Protect is just for scoping out moves.

After Excadrill, I realized I had a huuuuuge ground weakness...

094.gif

The Spookz (Gengar) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dazzling Gleam
- Dark Pulse
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave

Gengar was the perfect way to counter way to the ground types with its ability, Levitate. As for the moves, Dazzling Gleam counters its weakness to Dark. Speaking of Dark, Dark Pulse counters its weakness to Ghost and Psychic. Shadow Ball is STAB and is a counter to its weakness to Ghost. Sludge Wave is simple STAB.

After my offense, I decided to get defensive.

395.gif

Pingu (Empoleon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Roar
- Toxic
- Flash Cannon

Basically, it's a specially defensive Empoleon. It's reaaally basic, so no real explanation.

I needed more bulk, so why not just Tank Chomp? For the hell of it.
445.gif

Chainchomp (Garchomp) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 240 HP / 176 Def / 92 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail
- Toxic

No real explanation, again. It's just a simple Tank Chomp set.

Thank you for reading! Again, this is my first RMT, so I'd like to take constructive criticism instead of hurtful criticism. Thank you, again, and have a nice day! :]

1. on Gardevoir, run focus blast instead of your willow wisp. Also, get moonblast instead of hyper voice, you need a fairy move and hyper voice only is one with pixillate.
2. I can't tell if you're trying to play a bulky tyranitar or not, if so, just don't. your goal with TTar is to hammer out some hard hits, he's a horrible defense as several of your opponents always have a move that hits him hard, not to mention that any fighting type move will kick your butt. Run a better wall like Slowbro instead, or you will regret it. If you're really set on Tyranitar, play it REALLY safe.

Umm Hyper Voice >> Moonblast I'm psure everyone knows it's better. Hyper Voice will become fairy when Gardevoir megas (which it always does)

Anyways, my first suggestion is to replace Garchomp -> Ferrothorn
My reasoning is that your reason for Tankchomp was "more bulk". While Tankchomp clearly fits the description, you already have a TTar to set up rocks. Thats where Ferrothorn comes in. It can set up spikes (which Mega Gardevoir enjoys) and it can take a water move
(Ferrothorn) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Power Whip
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Spikes
Speaking of water moves, I would also say you might want to switch Empoleon ->> Latios
It gives you another ground, water, and fighting resist and lets you take on Keldeo (which 6-0s you) and is a sample on offensive teams. It can clean up after Gardevoir wall breaks.
(Latios) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 29 HP / 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Draco Metor
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Recover

Finally, why protect on Excadrill? You're missing out on important Rock Coverage which will help way more than protect (which just wastes sand turns). So Protect -> Rock Slide. Also, EQ on TTar seems to be a weak choice. You might struggle against Lando-T (who will come in on you) so to cope with that, I would say EQ -> Ice Beam or even Ice Punch if you want.
Remember, take what I said with a grain of salt. I'm not a master of OU (or pokemon for that matter), but make sure your team stays true to you so you know how to use it.

Hey dude that team looks nice to me. However, I would run a status absorber and a better check to Keldeo and Rotom-Wash. Both of them can threaten your team with burn, and seeing how you have no real check, Empolleon needs to go. Replace it with specially defensive Celebi with 252 HP, 148 special defense, and 108 defense EVs to check rotom and keldeo, as well as absorb status. Run recover, giga drain, baton pass (to avoid being pursuit trapped), and swords dance/nasty plot. Hope I was helpful.

Hey Donna, your team has potential, but you have a few odd set choices.

Before I really start things, I really want to speak on your Gengar set. Dark Pulse is a really bad option on Gengar since Shadow Ball hits all the same things (Ghost and Psychic types) and is also STAB. There's literally no reason for you to run Dark Pulse, especially with Shadow Ball, since it's redundant and wastes a moveslot. Dazzling Gleam is also a subpar option on Gengar since there's no Dragon type in the tier that wants to switch into Gengar as it is (I guess maybe Goodra?), and Focus Blast is far better for hitting Dark types since it's stronger and also hits Steel types that are immune to your Poison STAB. Lastly, Black Sludge isn't a viable item on Gengar unless you're running Will-O-Wisp + Hex, which you're not, so Life Orb is a better option for better damage output. I'll leave more viable Gengar sets below, and if you have any questions about them you can feel free to PM me.

- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

Gengar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 120 HP / 136 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Sludge Bomb
- Substitute / Taunt

(^The spread on this Gengar prevents Clefable's Moonblast from breaking your Substitute, considering it's defensive with no Special Attack investment, and also prevents Assault Vest Tornadus-T from breaking your Substitute with Knock Off if you burn it with Will-O-Wisp. If you run Taunt instead of Substitute, you don't really need to run HP investment.)
Now onto the rate. There's no need to run Shadow Ball on M-Gardevoir since the only use that had was to hit Aegislash, which is no longer in the tier. M-Gardevoir gets perfect neutral coverage with Fighting coverage + its Fairy STAB, plus it also allows it to break Ferrothorn and Heatran, so you definitely need Focus Blast on it. With that being said, you should make the most out of its ability to be one of the best stallbreakers in the tier, and run Taunt > Will-O-Wisp on M-Gardevoir. This prevents Pokemon like Chansey that can stomach more than one hit from you from being able to go for a status move like Thunder Wave, Toxic, or a recovery option. Psyshock is also the best choice on any specially oriented Psychic type with Dual STAB since it allows them to beat Assault Vest users and Chansey more reliably.

There's quite a few options you have with your Tyranitar in terms of team support, especially since you don't need Stealth Rock on it since you're already carrying it on Garchomp. With that being said, I think you should run Fire Blast > Stealth Rock on Tyranitar, as well as Ice Beam > Earthquake. Fire Blast helps you hit Skarmory, Ferrothorn, and Scizor to support M-Gardevoir, and Ice Beam helps hit Landorus-T, defensive Garchomp, and Gliscor for Excadrill. You should also run a spread of 248 HP / 96 Atk / 164 SpA with a Quiet Nature on Tyranitar. The Attack investment allows you to OHKO Latios with Pursuit as it switches, the Special Attack investment allows Fire Blast to 2HKO Skarmory, and the rest is in HP for bulk and general longevity so you can get Sand up as much as possible.

Protect is an odd choice on Excadrill since it makes you lose valuable Sand turn. Excadrill prefers to keep up offensive presence rather than scout, especially considering it outspeeds the entire metagame and is offensively inclined. With that being said, you should run Swords Dance > Protect on Excadrill to provide you with a win condition, as well as a good way to abuse the extra Sand turns that Smooth Rock provides. With the support from Tyranitar, it can be a very effective cleaner, considering Tyranitar can lure in and take out Excadrill's checks for it. Rock Slide is also a solid option on Excadrill to hit stuff like Zapdos, Rotom-W, Modest Charizard-Y, and Talonflame that shrug off your Dual STAB. You can consider that over Rapid Spin, though hazard removal is still nice.

Lastly, since your team is pretty weak to Belly Drum Azumarill, Low Kick Weavile, Life Orb Tornadus-T, and opposing Sand Rush Excadrill, I think you should run Rotom-W > Empoleon. Your team also doesn't have a check to Keldeo or Serperior, you should also run Assault Vest Tornadus-T > Gengar. These two form a Volt/Turn core to get M-Gardevoir in safely and help Tyranitar in setting up Sand and Pursuit trapping in certain situations.

Sorry, Forgot that Gardevoir's ability becomes pixilate

*criticizes badly* Jk
Maybe instead of protect on excadrill, you can run swords dance. You can set up on things such as chansey.
Also, you can consider swapping tank chomp with landorus-t because it's ground immunity helps against opposing excadrills.
Focus blast is kinda needed on gengar, dark pulse is the least helpful move in that set. Well you can also try taunt gengar because it stops chansey. Life orb is recommended on the attacking set, but there is the substitute/wilo/shadowball/focus blast or sludge wave gengar that can be ran with black sludge.
