Hi! This is my first RMT and I would appreciate some help on this team.
Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 16 HP / 8 Def / 232 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
The first member of my team is Gardevoir, who I built the entire team around. Calm Mind is used during predicted switches and Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice desecrates anything that doesn't resist it. On the other hand, Psyshock is used to damage specially defensive Pokemon such as Chansey. Finally, focus blast is used to hurt steel types such as Ferrothorn and Heatran who otherwise wall Gardevoir.
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Thunderbolt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Rotom-W is the physical wall of my team and is also great at crippling physically offensive attackers with Will-O-Wisp that would otherwise seriously threaten Gard. Other than that, Rotom-W is also my bird check since Gale Wings Talonflame can seriously damage this team. In addition, it's also great at keeping Azumarill at bay, who would pretty much sweep the team.
Victini @ Choice Band
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- V-create
- Bolt Strike
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn
My wallbreaker<3 Choice Band boosted V-Create does serious damage to even Pokemon that resist it. Victini is also typically my response to steel types that would otherwise threaten Gardevoir. Bolt Strike is used for pesky water types, Zen Headbutt is on this set for its STAB, and U-turn is here for scouting.
Excadrill @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin
Since I'll be switching in and out a lot of times, and I need my Pokemon at perfect health, I needed a rapid spinner to get rid of hazards, and Excadrill is perfect for this. Earthquake is here for STAB and deals good damage to most things, which includes Rotom-W and Gengar (who's also a serious threat), and Iron Head is for opposing fairy types that could possibly wall the team.
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 26 Def / 230 SpD
Careful Nature
- Power Whip
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave
Ferrothorn here is my hazard setter and special wall. Thunder Wave is great for crippling fast sweepers and Leech Seed often forces switches all while being a nice form of recovery for Ferrothorn. Power Whip is its only offensive move and works well against water types.
Keldeo-Resolute @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Scald
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Hidden Power [Electric]
I was pretty unsure if I wanted Keldeo to have a Life Orb or Choice Scarf, but I'll just put life orb for now. Scald is usually spammed for its chance of burning and Secret Sword is also a great move. However, I'm unsure about the two other moves. I originally had Icy Wind in place of Hydro Pump, but I recently changed it in favor of Hydro Pump's power. Hidden Power Electric is here to hit opposing water types, but it could be changed as well.

Threatlist
Obvi can't list all of the threats to this team, but one that comes to mind is Serperior. Like, this thing can sweep through my team after one Leaf Storm. If Victini is gone, my usual strategy against it is to paralyze it with Ferrothorn, while resisting its Leaf Storm, and then have a stronger Pokemon take care of it afterwards.
Electric types such as Mega Manectric and Raikou are also a pain. Both are very fast and can cause severe damage. Sure, Excadrill can possibly take care of them, but he's pretty much my only response to them.
The two Mega Charizards also prove as huge threats. that's all i can think of now but im p sure this team is like threatened by 1000 other pokemon!!
