BigMomma (Kangaskhan-Mega) (F) @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Parental Bond
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Double-Edge
- Sucker Punch
- Low Kick

I started getting interested into VGC a few weeks ago and decided to make a team using both a veteran and a newcomer. Instead of using the Mega set that involves Return and P-Punch for setting up i decided to instead have Double-Edge over Return for power. Low Kick is essentially for common VGC pokemon. a good amount of them are actually pretty heavy and its perfect for getting the job down. While playing, I lead with him then Nami would be a good pair with him because if someone comes with an intimidate for Mega-K, Nami gets a Compettive boost.

Megatron (Metagross-Mega) @ Metagrossite
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Protect
- Ice Punch
- Zen Headbutt

As a newcomer to VGC i decided to use a pokemon that is also new this year. This colossal beast works well whether its Mega or not with this team. If I could bring him with Kangashkan or have him take over for the match as the only Mega for my team. Iron Head was chosen over Meteor Mash even though it has base 10 less power it has more accuracy and 30% chance to flinch which proves to be a clutch late game. Protect to get the speed boost off. Ice Punch is for Landorus which could be Fake-Out by Kangashkan leaving it open for a KO leaving it out cold. Zen Headbutt it for stab, the occasional flinch and any poison types for Sylveon and Fighting types for Mega-K.

Shield or Sword (Aegislash) (M) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- King's Shield
- Shadow Ball
- Flash Cannon
- Wide Guard

Both a tank and offensive attacker, Aegislash can bob and weave out of most situations I've had with this team. For example when an Arcanine, Rotom-H or Zard-Y shows up and he is with a crippled team opponent. They most of them go for Aegislash allowing it to survive one hit, pop a weakness policy and hit back really hard. I Choose the special set because since Intimidates and Will-O's are common, they won't bother him. I needed Wide Guard to protect it and Metagross from EQ's and Talonflame from Rock Slide which proved to be a problem at first but now is a thing of the past.

Nami (Milotic) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Competitive
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
- Scald
- Icy Wind
- Recover
- Protect

Mega-K's partner allows for an easy way to set up at the beginning. With an ability like Competitive and the common Landorus-T I can start the game with +2 SpA. Scald is fishing for a burn and fighting types(Mega-K), Fire(Metagross and Aegislash) and Bisharp with Knock Off which could cause a problem if left unattended. Icy Wind is pretty broken to me in opinion when it comes to VGC. I get to attack both sides with a Speed drop which allows Metagross to get a hit if it isn't Mega. Recover is for a stable way of recovery and Protect is to scout out any status problems coming its way.

BuffaloWings (Talonflame) (M) @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Tailwind
- Protect

Its going to take a lot too cool this hot thing down unless you come prepared. Brave Bird.....Well we all know why thats there. Flare Blitz is for anything thats bulky and redirecting attacks(Ammonguss) and other grass, steel and ice types that come into the frey. Tailwind works well with Aegislash, Sylveon, and Non-Mega Metagross. Protect is to keep this Glass Cannon from easily getting shattered by a bunch of rocks.

Pixie(Sylveon) (F) Choice Specs
Ability:Pixilate
EVs: 248 HP/ 252 SpA/ 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Ground]

This little cutie rapes Dark,Fighting and Dragon Types. Two which cause a problem for half my team and the other being the most offense type. Psyshock for any Zapdos that come around to paralyze anyone and Ammongus which is a f**kin b*tch! Shadow Ball takes care of Gengars which i sometimes see and all with Will-O's which makes Mega-K and Metagross useless. HP Ground takes care of Lucarios and both of its weakness

Threatlist
681.png
Only Sucker Punch and HP Ground hit it and if i doesnt kill then Weakness Policy reeks havoc.
591.png
Spore and Rage Powder...Nuff Said
006.png
Only Y. Overheat in sun wrecks everything and Milotic only takes Two S-Beams
303.png
If they get one S-Dance or I have to beat it with raw power.
642.png
Thunder Wave cripples a lot and t-bolt destroys half of team.
272.png
Only because Talonflame is the only one that hits super effectively and assault vest proves durable

And those are just from when I faced them.

Any criticism helps to make this team better.

Psyshock was for any poison types for Sylveon and Fighting types for Kangashkan. Shadow Ball was for Ghost types and was hard hitting no matter what when I tried it out.

Yo what's up dude, your team looks great :] i'm gonna go through each of your pokemon individually and give you my opinions on them:
Kangaskhan: Looks fine, nothing i would switch
Metagross: Same with kanga
Aegislash: Running 252 HP 252 SpD isn't the best considering you're relying on your opponent to activate your weakness policy to even do any damage. I suggest using 252 HP / 144 SpA / 108 SpD with a Calm nature since that allows you to survive Specs Modest Dark Pulse from Hydreigon, Doubles damage Heat Wave from Char Y, and Shadow Ball from Aegi. Moveset wise it looks fine
Milotic: same with Aegislash, running 252 HP 252 SpD makes you reliant on your opponent to even do any damage. I suggest using 252 HP / 244 SpA / 12 SpD with a Modest nature. The item imo should be Life Orb since Milotic's damage output is super low unless Competitive boost
Talonflame: Adamant T flame is a lot better since that increases its damage output, Sharp Beak is alright I guess tho i usually prefer Life Orb. So if you want to keep Lefties on Milotic, i suggest changing T flame's item to Life Orb since that gives a blanket boost to both of its STAB
Sylveon: Moveset wise it looks fine, i suggest changing the spread to 112 HP / 92 Def / 252 SpA / 48 Spe with a Modest nature since that gives the most damage output as well as allowing you to live 252 Adamant non LO Bullet Punch from a Scizor as well as giving you a high chance of surviving Jolly Mega Kangakhan Return (yeah some people still run Return lol).

Other than that your team looks fine dude, good luck with it :)

Wow. Thanks a lot.i really noticed with Aegislash that he has some problems taking hits and I wasn't sure what to change his ev spread to. Yours seems way better and I hope it will help out. Everything is is good too and I'll go try it out and see how they work out.
