AYO
Today I'll be analizing my newbie team that centers in the all mighty (and kinda hot)
MEGA LOPUNNY
Yay!
First of all I wanna make clear that this is my first OU team and I
kind of suck at Teambuilding, so I'd aprreciate if you had a little mercy for me : ).
Structure of the definition of the Pokémon:
-Personal Opinion
-Ability
-EV Investures and Moves
-Overall Conclusion of the 'mon
Let's begin!
Lopunny (F) @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Return
- Fake Out
- Ice Punch
This girl's my core. Mega Lopunny is a very strong Physical Sweeper which can
serve as a really good opener specially against Focus Sashes, Setters, etc...
The addition of Scrappy with the Mega Evolution makes it able to counter Pokémon
like Sableye and Gengar, countering anti-spinners and openers.
I went full Atk and Spe and Jolly nature so I can out speed as much stuff as possible, and
about the set, I decided to go with Ice Punch because in OU D-nite is a much bigger threat
than Talonflame, which can be 2HKOd by a Fake Out and Return.
Overall: Great Pokémon with one of the best Speed Stats in the Tier, and access to very
good moves and one of the best abilities to have as a Normal/Fighting Pokémon.
Oo--------------------------------------oOo-------------------------------------oO
Gyarados @ Life Orb
Ability: Moxie
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail

Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail
My Late Game Sweeper that also serves as a Pivot. It's type combination is really good,
loosing two weaknesses in exchange for one times four wekaness, and havinga total
aof five resistances, it is quite but not amazingly remarkable.
Moxie allows you to sweep and continue to become stronger and stronger, allowing
for some good OHKOs the more you KO 'mons.
The EV investure is focused in sweeping teams in late game, and the full Speed
addition is mainly for the fact that you can outspeed even some Scarf 'mons with
only one DD, which you can also use for free if you manage to Pivot correctly.
Iron Head to wreck Clefables and stuff, and Earthquake for Electric/Steel types,
and Waterfall is just a great STAB move with a good percentage of flinching.
Overall: Still one of my favorite Offensive Pivots that can also take big hits and
still OHKO some Pokés. Mythical fucking Sea Serpent what do you expect.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 84 Def / 172 SpD
Calm Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Flamethrower
- Wish
OU is a great place for Fairy Types: Sylveon, Clefable, Azumarril, and this little fat
fuck right here.
Unaware is one of the coolest ablilities in the game, allowing you to rek very
setting-heavy 'mons like Suicune, Mega-Sableye, and so on. Another cool thing about
Unaware is that you can set yourself and that stat boost won't be ignored! AND Clefable also
has access to Magic Guard, so enemies never are so sure about status-ing you or just yolo
about it.
The EVs I'm guessing they look like a big mess. I've never been a good one with the
irregular investure, but I also think it is not a bad start. The set is very messy: I wanted
two good damaging moves, one of them for type coverage adn the other one for mainly
STAB, Calm Mind which I love with Unaware, and Wish for the lolz I guess.
Overall: Good Support sort of thing, that can also fuck up some sets and laugh at
your noob opponent's face while they keep Swords Dancing and then Iron Head, take out
about 60% and be like "WHAAAAAAA".
Oo----------------------oOo----------------------oO
Gengar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb
- Pain Split
Gengar is a really good Pokémon imo. It's typing is hella good
and it has one of the best move pools in THE ENTIRE WORLD. Or maybe
in OU.
Ahh, Levitate. Because fuck Landorus-Therian, that's why.
EVs focus on dishing as much damage as possible, mainly countering
Fairies and Pokémon that lack SpD. Will-O-Wisp is for annoying mainly.
Sometimes I don't have a good answer to a swtich-in because Sludge Wave
and Shadow Ball are very predictible in Gengar, and Pain Split is way better
than Destiny Bond, because I preferably left some 'mons low so I can
sweep with good ol' Gyarados.
Overall: Great move pool, solid Speed Tier, good typing, cool and useful
ability and really cool design in general. That smile though.

Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock
Landorus-Therian is one of the most OP Pokémon in OU. It's typing walls
Electric type Pokés and with the Choice Scarf you can outspeed HP Ice form
Raikou and/or set up Rocks and the gtfo.
Intimidate is a REALLY good ability. It counters Late Game Physical Sweepers
because lowering Atk by only 1 Stage means that if they do Swords Dance it will only
go up by 1 Stage! As well as DD, it will only work with the Speed stat boost.
EVs are classical, and the nature is not Jolly because of the Choice Scarf, and the
set is really standard for dishing out damages.
Overall: Your classical Scarfed Landorus-Therian, really useful in OU in general.
Oo------------------------------oOo----------------------------oO
Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Spikes
- Gyro Ball
- Volt Switch
- Rapid Spin
I just picked Forretress over Ferrothorn because of the move pool and coolness
factor.
Sturdy is very good with Spikes, because you don't get
OHKOd by a Fire Blast, lol.
The EVs are quite simple: focus on the SpD and HP to resist Special
attacks, and the little extra Def spenditure for survival. The move pool is
focused on survival too. The Rapid Spin is really useful, and spamming Gyro
Ball is a simple but cool strategy too, specially after you set up Hazards.
Overall: Very good Spikes Setter and a good choice for a bulky
addition to the team in my opinion.
Oo--------------------------------oOo------------------------------oO
we made it to the end, now it's your time to say how horrible my team is : )
