XY OU Mega-Manectric team, OU

English is not my first language, sorry if i make a mistake.
Guys, I need help. I was playing pokemon showdown and i though in mega manectric, a very good pokemon, so I build a team around it:
manectric.gif

Manectric @ Manectite
Ability: Lightningrod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Obviously, the most important member of the team. Very stantard, good movepool and very decent SPA and Spe. I prefer flamethrower than overheat because i can stay in the field after a flamthrower, and that way I don't get the SPA drop. His counters are quagsire, thick fat mamoswine, scarf garchomp, specially defensive heatran and tyranitar. The team will cover this threats, but you can change some pokemons that I will say.
shaymin.gif

Shaymin @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Rest
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Shaymin, a very underrated pokemon. With seed flare you will totally desttroy quagsire. Heatran can take perfectly that, but you can kill it with earth power. HP ice for the gliscors who want to take an earth power and kill it in the switch. Rest to recover HP, but you must switch to approach the ability natural cure. Full speed imbested to outspeed full speed heatran and other threats in the tier. I prefer modest nature but you can use the timid, which is very good too. The weakness of shaymin, fire and ice, are covered by azumarill, but they are very week to venusaur, so you can change rest for air slash or psychic.
azumarill.gif

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Superpower
The function of azumarill is to take the ice and fire moves that can damage shaymin. Assalut vest to improve the bulk, superpower to hit ferrothorn and chansey and aqua jet for priority. You can use specially defensive vaporeon to be more defensive, but i prefer azumarill to hit very hard everything in the field.

latios.gif

Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Defog
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Earthquake
Latios, very classic: defog and three attacks. I use earthquake to hit bisharp, heatran, tyranitar and excadrill, but you can use HP fire or fighting if you like it. You can use specially defensive zapdos instead of latiios if you want a wall and not a sweeper. Latios is the only pokemon that can hit venusaur hardly, with psyshock, so don't let it die.
landorus-therian.gif

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 240 HP / 16 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- U-turn
Phisically defensive landorus, the only defensive pokemon in the team. Very sollid. 240 evs on HP, so HP ends in 9, to recover max health with leftover. The mon with stealth rock in the team and i'm running u-turn to do the volt-turn sinergy with manectric. Rock slide to counter talonflame and charizard and earthquake as our stab. Being immune to volt switch is important, because manectric loose that immunity when it mega evolves. Very good combination with manectric, because you can do the double intimidate.

a-gengar-1564363-jpg.21584

Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Energy Ball
- Dazzling Gleam
Focus sash gengar, very basic. You can change it for sash alakazam so you can have another psychic move to hit mega venusaur,
but that way you couldn't have sludge wave. Energy ball to kill quagsire and swampert, sludge wave and shadow ball because are stab and dazzling gleam to cover more types. You can put HP fire or focus blast instead of it, if you want.

If you can improve the team, pleas tell me how!!
The team, if you want to try it:

- Hidden Power [Ice]

Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Rest
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Superpower

Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate

Hey Nacionation cool team! I like the way this offense looks and I also like the use of the underrated Shaymin seeing as it doesn't get much use. While I do like the team, I have a few suggestions that would greatly benefit it. First off I think that you can optimize some EV spreads and sets. Now you have written that Azumarill is used to take ice and fire attacks as well as bait in Ferrothorn and Chansey. I think that replacing Superpower with Knock Off would be more beneficial in the long run. Chansey with the eviolite knocked off is much less of a threat and Ferrothorn doesn't seem like too much of a problem with the Latios and Gengar set's I'll recommend. Knock Off is all around a good move to use for consistent power as well as crippling the opponent by knocking off their items.

- Knock Off
- Waterfall

The next change I'd like to recommend is to Shaymin's set. Hidden Power Ice doesn't seem to be of much use on your set as from what you've said it only really helps with Gliscor which gets destroyed by a Seed Flare and can't really do much to you barring the rare Knock Off seeing as you have rest and natural cure to bypass Toxic. I think Hidden Power Fire would help a lot more as right now you lack a good switch-in to Ferrothorn and Shaymin can easily beat it 1v1. It also checks Mega Scizor which if Manectric is weakened can really run through your team.

Shaymin @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Rest
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Fire]

I like the use of Defensive Landorus-T here as it forms a nice VoltTurn core along with Manectric as well as a nice dual intimidate strategy, but I think you EV spread can be changed to assist your team a lot more. The set I have listed below still retains a lot of bulk to easily switch into Pokemon such as Terrakion and Talonflame while giving you a bit more speed so you outspeed max speed neutral nature base 70s.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 200 HP / 216 Def / 92 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Stone Edge

The last change I want to recommend is to the Gengar set. Looking at it you are trying to use yours as an all out attacker but I think I have a set that will help you a lot more. From your description you use Gengar to mainly pick apart bulkier mons such as Quagsire and Venusaur so I think your team would really appreciate the use of SubSplit Gengar. This gives you the ability to easily beat these bulkier mons one on one as well as letting you stick around much longer with pain split. The spread is the same as before but includes Life Orb to hit much harder so that shadow ball can easily achieve a 2HKO on Quagsire and Heatran as well as a good chance to do so on Mega Venusaur after rocks.

Gengar (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Pain Split
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

Well that's all I've got for now, nice team and I hope I helped! :]

I love all the changes you did on my team, but I really think sash gengar can help my team more than the sub split one. I will test all the other changes, thanks buddy!!
