Mega Metagross Bulky Offense
[/CENTER]

Hi, my name is Mega Flexagross, and this is my Mega Metagross RMT :] hope you enjoy!
So first up I wanted to make a team based around my favorite pokemon: Mega metagross. This is easily the best Pokemon in the tier currently, so why not use it. My partner of choice was Tapu Lele. Lele was able to boost the power of mega metagross zen headbutt, help break defensive cores, and lure in steel types for Mega Metagross. Keldeo was my third choice since it provided a nice match up versus offense, helped pivot into Greninja, and provided speed control as well as a dark resist. The fourth mon I chose was none other than the most splashable mon in the tier: Landorus-Therian. Lando T provided the ground immunity, as well as chip damage off on Mega Metagross and proved stealth rock support. The second to last mon I added was Gloom Doom Heatran. Helped my stall match up slightly, helped prevent fire types from getting the free switch in, and helped my Mega Scizor match up. The last member is Assault Vest Tangrowth. Helped pivot around into Greninjas, Mega Alakazam, some what other Mega Metagross, as well as the consistent water resist. So with all of that being said, let's get right into my RMT.
So as I stated in the beginning. I wanted to build a team based around the goat: Mega Metagross. Easily top 5 hardest hitting mons in the tier and I love using him. No reason not to use him in all Honesty. Meteor mash is manditory. Zen headbutt was chosen over Thunder Punch since I preferred the power up from Psychic Terrain. Ice punch nails defensive Lando T and other things like Phys def Tangrowth as well as Zygarde. Hammer arm prevent Ferrothorn from coming in for free and setting up spikes.

Jolly Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Ice Punch
- Hammer Arm
As I stated before, my second Pokemon of choice was Tapu Lele. Lele provided the great stall match up thanks to shed shell. It again powers up Mega Metagross Zen headbutt and also helps check and weaken Mega Scizor which Mega Metagross hates. Psyshock two hit KOs chansey after rocks as well as hitting other specially defensive walls a lot harder. Moon blast and HP fire are staples. Taunt was chosen over calm mind since taunt helps out vs webs Hyper Offense teams and can often times prevent rocks and spikes from going up. Modest was chosen over timid since I lacked the raw power that Specs or even twistedspoon provided me.

Tapu Lele @ Shed Shell
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psyshock
- Taunt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Moonblast
My third member was none other than the gen 5 godChoice Scarf Keldeo. Keldeo again provided the dark resist for the team as well as improving my match up vs offensive teams. It also helps out my match up versus offensive fire types a lot such as being able to revenge kill and sometimes even attempt to hard switch and tank a hit into a lot of the common fire types such as Mega zard Y, Volcarona, and Heatran. Hydro pump and secret Sword are staples. The drop of scald was a pretty decent decision because I need hidden power electric to revenge kill Gyardos, and I need stone edge for the immediate answer to Volcarona as well as Mega zard Y. Scald isn't a MUST as it was back in the gen 6 OU meta game.

Keldeo-Resolute @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- icy wind
- Stone Edge
The fourth member I decided to add was none other than the most splashable Pokemon in the tier: Landorus-Therian. Lando T helped my match up versus stuff like Salamence opposing Lando T Mega zard X, and helped get chip damage off on Mega Metagross. Earthquake is mandatory STAB, HP ice hits Zygarde, other Lando-T, and Garchomp harder than Earthquake ever will. U-Turn grabs momentum and helps bring in wallbreakers that can threaten stall, and other fat mons. Stealth rock is mandatory on defensive Lando-T and always will be.

Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 24 SpD / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Stealth Rock
The fifth member I added was Gloom Doom Heatran. Gloom Doom Heatran was added so I could prevent Mega Metagross from getting the free switch in, soft checking some fire types, as well as breaking fat or bulkier grasses that my team struggled with not named Mega Venu or amoongus. Heatran traps and lures in stuff that Keldeo hates such as Tapu Fini and Toxapex mainly, and being able to trap Toxapex in this meta game is a HUGE advantage that a lot of teams that lack Dugtrio wish they could have. Magma Storm is STAB and traps bulky waters and grounds. Solarbeam breaks the fat waters as I mentioned before. Earth power nails opposing heatran. Taunt was chosen in the last slow to break stall slightly better as well as preventing some Pokemon from setting up.

Heatran @ Grassium Z
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Magma Storm
- Solar Beam
- Earth Power
- Taunt
The last and final Pokemon I decided to add to my team was Assault Vest Tangrowth. Assault Vest Tangrowth was choses again for the water resist, ground resist, helps my match up versus stuff like Mega Alakazam, Rotom-W, Tapu Fini, etc. Relaxed nature and 56 defense EVS allow me to live some hits such as two ice punches from Mega Metagross, Timid Tapu Lele psyshock, and helps take on other Lando-T slightly better Giga drain gives back some of Tangrowths HP. HP fire was chosen over HP ice seeing as how Ferrothorn can proceed to set up spikes and also hits Mega Metagross for super effective damage. Earthquake hits Heatran for super effective damage. Knock off is just knock off its fantastic at what it does. Down below will be some calcs on my Tangrowth spread.

Tangrowth @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 56 Def / 204 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Knock Off
- Hidden Power [Fire]

252 Atk Tough Claws Metagross-Mega Meteor Mash vs. 252 HP / 56+ Def Tangrowth: 148-175 (36.6 - 43.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
So that's mostly everything I had to cover about the pokemon. Now onto the shoutouts to who helped me and some of the threats to my team. Once we ban Pheromosa, i'll be sure to be on the OU ladder and ladder up with this team iv'e been having a lot of success on. If you're a ds player, twisted spoon is used over shed shell since stall is non existent on ds really. A pastebin will also be linked down below as well.
~~haybummer~~ i meant Hayburner, 3d aka Amoongus and wally the bully
