ORAS OU Mega Pinsir (Balanced)

I made a team based around Lando-T and Rotom-W and so here it is:

Rotom-W
Calm
Leftovers
252 hp/252 spdef/4 satk
Will-o-Wisp
Hydro Pump
Volt Switch
Pain Split

This is your standard rotom-w set, it works well for me just as a pivot. I'm not as good with the rest/lum berry set. Also I prefer spdefensive rotom-w because it works well with Lando-T as a good VoltTurn core. Also a def rotom would kinda be useless because Lando-T's intimidate and will-o-wisp.

Lando-T
Leftovers
Impish
252 hp/ 252 def/ 4 atk
Stealth Rock
U-turn
Knock Off
Earthquake

This is my hazard setter, it works great against most leads such as Tyranitar and Heatran. It also works as a intimidate pivot to get off a -1 attack on a sweeper and go into a counter. Also I prefer knock off over stone edge because it allows me to do decent damage to any psychic type and item relient pokemon such as gliscor. I do not believe I need flying coverage because of rotom-w.

Scizor
Life Orb
Adamant
252 hp/ 128 atk/ 92 spdef/ 32 spd
Superpower
Swords Dance
Bug Bite
Bullet Punch

This is my set up sweeper. It helps counter Ferro (I think +2 Superpower 2HKOs a max def ferro).
I'm not sure about the ev spread so if you can, tell me what I should use. This also allows me to ko just about any psychic (with the exception of course slowbro). +2 Life orb should still do a decent amount.

Mega-Pinsir
Pinsirite
Jolly
252 attack/ 252 spd /4 def
Swords Dance
Return
Quick Attack
Close Combat

This is my late game sweeper. I like cc more that earthquake because i already got eq on lando. This is pretty much your standard Mega Pinsir. I like it as a mega because i can do a lot of damage to serprior.
+2 can do a good amount of damge to just about anything

Starmie
Life orb
Timid
252 spatk/ 252 spd/ 4 spdef
Hydro Pump
Rapid Spin
Ice Beam
Psyshock

Spinner for Mega-Pinsir and has reliable coverage. I like it as a revenge killer because it is fast and has a lot of power even if the opponent switches analytic causes problems. It works well with clef beacuse clef can take a toxic.

Clefable
Leftovers
Calm
252 hp/252 spdef/ 4 spatk
Moonblast
Wish
Protect
Toxic

This is my dragon killer and special wall. I prefer toxic over t-wave because it allows me to wear down special sweepers. This is also my wish passer for anyone. I like magic guard because it allows me to toxic on a rotom-w and not take any damage from status, weather and hazards.

If you have any problems with this team, post a comment down below.
Thank you

yo man nice team, love mega pinsir

so you have some of the necessary teammates for pinsir, like a spinner and way to break bulky grounds. some of the stuff you still need is a better answer to fast offensive electric types and ways of dealing with rotom wash. the changes i make are gonna revolve around this so you can better support pinsir as well as assessing and dealing with major threats to the team like bisharp.

ok so you're pretty weak to bisharp as well as the aforementioned electric types. you also could use a more reliable answer to spdef wisp talonflame and sd excadrill. because of this im gonna recommend Hippowdon > Landorus-T and Physically Defensive Rotom-Wash > Specially Defensive. hippowdon better handles electric types because it isn't as worried about hp ice from raikou, thundurus, megamane, etc. rotom w shouldn't really run a spdef set in the first place because a lot of the stuff that it needs to check (scizor, bisharp, excadrill) hits the physical side. you can also run more speed to creep mega scizor because it looks a little problematic.

next up is a change to clefable's ev spread to make it more efficient and a change to the set to give you some speed control and make the set more efficient as well. so first off you can run a spread of 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD with a Calm Nature > 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD. this lets you take on stuff like kyurem b, weavile, and lopunny better. after that you can run Thunder Wave / Calm Mind / Softboiled / Moonblast > Wish / Protect / Toxic / Moonblast. magic guard clefable can afford to run softboiled, giving it reliable recovery without having to play super predictable and waste a moveslot with protect. it's not a very good user of toxic because it can take on most fat mons with calm mind. finally, thunder wave gives you some speed control so that pinsir can have a better matchup vs offense. also on clefable you just seem to have missed 0 Atk IVs, which is just a nitpick that you did catch on starmie and rotom to lessen confusion and foul play damage.

up next is scizor. it feels kinda redundant here with pinsir, and stacks a lot of weaknesses to stuff like nasty plot thundurus and charizard x. the team's also kinda slow and has trouble with stuff like mega diancie, mega gardevoir, serperior and gengar. because of this i recommend Iron Tail AV Tornadus-T > Scizor. iron tail smacks diancie and gardevoir, it's actually pretty cool imo. here's a quick calc
0- Atk Tornadus-T Iron Tail vs. 16 HP / 8 Def Mega Gardevoir: 182-216 (64.7 - 76.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
8- Atk Tornadus-T Iron Tail vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 244-288 (101.2 - 119.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

you can run hasty but i'd rather just run 8 atk and not get 2hkod by specs keld secret sword

here's a finished importable of the team.
