Mega-Pinsir Hyper Offense (1400 and climbing)

Hey there, fairly new to competitive pokemon here so hopefully i do this right. I've spent the last few days browsing smogon and trying out lots of things and this team here pretty much took some of my favorite offensive sets i've found and added things that cover their weaknesses.

Anyways, my knowledge of this game is somewhat lacking so hopefully I can learn a few things from this while improving what seems to be quite a strong team.

My Lead

Deoxys-Defense @ Mental Herb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 116 Spd / 140 Def
Bold Nature
- Taunt
- Thunder Wave
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes

The hardest part of building this team was finding a lead that really seemed to fit well. I had played with a similar set previously (knock off over twave) but have found twave to fit very well with this team.
One suggestion I have gotten is to switch Mental Herb for Red Card, but having tried both I feel Mental Herb just provides too much early tempo and leads to more free wins.

I'm not really sure how to group the rest of the team so in no particular order..

Pinsir @ Pinsirite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
Happiness: 0
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Frustration
- Quick Attack
- Earthquake

Mega-Pinsir is just nuts, this thing is capable of 1v6ing way too often and not including it on an offensive team just seems wrong. Frustration > Return because of Ditto, otherwise this is pretty much the stock Pinsir and definitely the star of the team.

Dragonite @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- ExtremeSpeed

Another very strong physical attacker, this Dragonite can switch in on almost anything, potentially get a free boost and proceed to sweep away. I've tried lefties as well but weakness policy just seems too strong on this thing. Have considered running outrage over dragon claw and just relying on Aegislash to clean up fairies but that seems very risky and not worth it.

Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 164 Spd / 92 HP
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Iron Head
- Sacred Sword

This Aegislash set I took from one of the discussion threads here on smogon and it has been nothing short of amazing. King's Shield is not needed at all, and honestly I've considered dropping SD for better coverage. This thing just causes problems for so many teams and can easily switch in, get a kill and switch back out just to do it again later.

Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Tail Glow
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Energy Ball

As you can see the main threats of this team to this point are physical, so this Manaphy really helps balance the team out while still fitting very well and is another that is capable of 1v6ing. I have also tried a Greninja in this spot but overall have had more success with this Manaphy. I've considered Life Orb on it as well, but the power isn't exactly needed while lefties lets it potentially stay in longer.

Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast

I have tried so many things in this last spot, from Togekiss to Mamoswine, but this Thundurus I've found really rounds out the team by adding another solid special attacker and providing a good way to shut down anything that has boosted out of hand. Overall I've been quite happy with this set, with focus blast providing solid coverage against lots of things I've had trouble with.

Edit for easy import:

Yea good point, somehow I just haven't run into problems with rocks. Going to bed soon but I think I'll test something like this (probably in place of dragonite)

Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Surf/Ice Beam?
- Psyshock
- Defog

Run earthquake on latios to hit stuff like bisharp, tyranitar, heatran, aegislash and mawile when you get caught. That's what the pro's seem to do anyway. I'd use it over surf and ice beam.
