Battle Spot Mega Sableye and friends

I have been trying to make Mega Sableye + Slowbro core useful in BS since the release of ORAS. Now I have come to a team that seems to work properly. Any advice whould be appreciated.

Team detailed

445.png

Garchomp @ Focus Sash
Ability: Rough Skin
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Rock Tomb
- Swords Dance

This monster is the most played pokemon on BS for a reason. Outrage and EQ for maximum STAB power, Rock Tomb for speed control (and for being able to check Talonflame, Volcarona, Thundurus and MZard Y) and Swords Dance against predicted switches. Thanks to Focus Sash, Garchomp can check a lot of faster mons such as the Lati Twins, Scarfed Hydreigon, other Chomps...

Aegislash @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Stance Change
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Iron Head
- Shadow Sneak
- King's Shield

One of the most versatile pokemon out there, with great resistances, Aegislash is one of my two pivots. The set is pretty standard: SB for hard hitting, Iron Head to hit faes and SS for priority. I have chose Sitrus Berry over WP because I want Aegislash to last some turns before dying, but I'm open to suggestions.

Sableye @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
EVs: 248 HP / 28 Def / 232 SpD
Bold Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Will-O-Wisp
- Calm Mind
- Recover

The last pokemon of my first core. Aegislash helps it against faes and Garchomp kills those fire physical attackers, letting Sableye sweep entire teams when they are unprepared. Dark Pulse over Shadow Ball to hit Kangaskhan and Chansey, and mixed defenses because of WoW.

Rotom-Mow @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Level: 50
EVs: 116 HP / 220 SpA / 172 Spe
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Leaf Storm
- Volt Switch
- Trick

I wanted both a fast pokemon to check Greninja and a grass type to lure Spore users and I chose Rotom-Mow. Thunderbolt and LS for power, Volt Switch for momentum and Trick for a pseudo-taunt. The EV spread seems a bit weird, but it can survive an Adamant BB from Talonflame and outspeed a Jolly one.

Slowbro @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Toxic/Shock Wave
- Slack Off

My second pivot. It can counter Mega Kang, Talonflame and Blaziken under the right circumstances. I haven't decided between Toxic or Shock Wave, tho. Foul Play and Psyshock are also options I'm considering for that slot.

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
Level: 50
EVs: 124 HP / 252 Atk / 132 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
- Roost

Bulky MZard X is an awesome set-up sweeper. I have thought about using the Flame Charge + Swords Dance variant but Roost is pretty awesome itself. The EVs are for outspeeding MLoppuni and MManetric at +1. Its main problems are ground types, that are mostly checked by Slowbro, and Shock Wave users that are (mostly) neutralyzed by Rotom.

Any tips or adviced for the team whould be appreciated. I will try to upload some resreplays as soon as possible.

Cool team. I think Leftovers would be a better option on Aegislash over Sitrus Berry. I feel like Sitrus Berry doesn't do much for Aegislashes survivability. I usually think Weakness Policy is really good when running Sneak but if you don't like it that's understandable. I think lefties is a better form of recovery because you have King's Shield which will buy you a lot of free turns to get some extra recovery.

Slowbro doesn't get Shock Wave. I think you're thinking of Thunder Wave. But I think Twave would be better than Toxic. You can twave Mega Kan so that you can Slack Off the next turn before it attacks you because otherwise Double Edge is a 2hko on slowbro, even though Mega Kan is going to kill herself regardless it's better to keep your Slowbro around than to trade off imo.

It looks like you have to play really carefully around SD Talonflame and DD Salamence. DD Salamence seems especially threatening as your only real checks to it are Aegislash, Slowbro and Sash Garchomp. And each of them only need a bit of prior damage before +1 Double Edge/EQ ohkos. SD talon late game could be an issue as well for mostly the same reasons, it just does less damage than mence.

Idk if rotom-mow is really your best choice. I think another rotom form that actually resists flying like wash or heat would be a lot more useful. I know you want something to deal with Spore but you have Mega Sableye that already deals with Spore very well. A different rotom would really help out your matchup against talonflame and salamence. Or you could always go with a different electric type. Thundurus is a great electric type, and although it can't surprise greninja like scarf rotom, it can really cripple it with Prankster thunder wave. If you do opt for a different rotom, I'd reccomend running HP ice on it as it really helps with Salamence, and even Garchomp if you're running Heat.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using Sitrus over Leftovers on Aegis because Leftovers seemed a bit slow against stronger attacks and take 4 turns to heal as much as Sitrus does. I do not like WP because when Aegis is hit by a strong super effective attack, SS doesn't usually do that much for it, at least IMO.

True, I was talking about Shock Wave, sorry. I think I'll go for it since Slowbro doesn't really need to stall break, not having Sableye. And talking about Sableye, how good whoud be a utility set on it?

I'm using Rotom-Mow over Heat or Wash because I already have a water and a fire type. However, I can see the benefits of having one of those over Mow, specially Wash since it can deal with Crocune, one of my nightmares, should I go for it? Note: My Rotom-Mow already have HP Ice, should I go for it in case I do not change its typing?

I'd also like to try Mega Gengar, Tyranitar or Tyrantrum but I just can't fit them on my team.
