The combination of solid bulk, incredible utility, and Magic Bounce makes Mega Sableye a near-mandatory addition on stall teams. Thanks to Magic Bounce, Mega Sableye is able to effectively stop entry hazards from the likes of Skarmory and Iron Treads from going up on its side of the field, and thanks to its Ghost typing it can block Rapid Spin from the likes of Excadrill and Iron Treads. Knock Off is used for its ability to remove items like Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots from targets like Celesteela and Cinderace, causing them to be worn down more easily. Will-O-Wisp allows Mega Sableye to cripple physical attackers such as Excadrill and Iron Hands with a burn. It can also be used against Pokemon unbothered by Knock Off like Mega Venusaur to slowly wear them down. The final moveslot is typically given to Protect, allowing Mega Sableye to safely get its Mega Evolution off as well as scout the intentions of Choice item users like Enamorus and Keldeo. Toxic is an alternative to status Pokemon that do not mind Will-O-Wisp like Cinderace and Nasty Plot Hydreigon. Prankster is chosen as the pre-Mega ability on Sableye, allowing it to burn a boosted physical threat in case of emergency. Mega Sableye struggles with strong special attackers, and as such appreciates specially defensive teammates like Blissey, Ting-Lu, and Gastrodon. Its lack of passive recovery in tandem with Recover’s meagre PP means it can get worn down by repeated hits and chip damage from sand. Therefore, Wish passers like Blissey and Clefable will greatly improve its longevity. Mega Sableye can get statused through Magic Bounce by moves like Sludge Bomb and Scald and thus appreciates cleric support from Chansey or Clefable. Pokemon like Clefable and Mold Breaker Excadrill can effectively set up hazards against Mega Sableye. As such, backup hazard control from Pokemon like Skarmory and Mandibuzz can prove helpful.

The combination of solid bulk, incredible utility moveset and movepool, and Magic Bounce makes Mega Sableye a near-mandatory addition on stall teams. Thanks to Magic Bounce, Mega Sableye is able to effectively stop entry hazards from going up on its side of the field from the likes of Skarmory and Iron Treads and thanks to its Ghost-typing it can block Rapid Spin from the likes of Excadrill and Iron Treads. Knock Off is used for its ability to remove items like Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots from targets including? could name several defensive pivots which could otherwise annoy stall teams long-term, allowing them to be worn down more easily. It also does decent damage coming off Mega Sableye’s respectable Attack stat. Is this absolutely important for a stall-dedicated mon? If so, name targets. Will-O-Wisp allows Mega Sableye to cripple physical attackers such as? with a burn. It can also be used against Pokemon immune to poison Better to change this notion to something more general like "not bothered by Knock" or else. like Celesteela Not the best mention tbqh, given how much defensive relies on lefties, could change this to MVenu as given. to slowly wear them down. The final moveslot is typically given to Protect, allowing Mega Sableye to safely get its mega evolution off as well as scout the intentions of choice item users like Enamorus and Keldeo. Toxic is an alternative to status Pokemon that do not mind Will-O-Wisp like Cinderace or Nasty Plot Hydreigon. Slighter exception but very important to specify the set here, rest can be worn down or pivoted around but not NP Z. Prankster is chosen as the pre-mega ability on Sableye, allowing it to burn a boosted physical threat in case of emergency. Mega Sableye struggles with strong special attackers, and as such appreciates specially defensive teammates like Blissey, Galarian-Slowking, Good mention given that it matches up pretty well against traditional Sub users like CM Keld and Moth, which can otherwise overwhelm bliss and use most stall mons as fodder and Gastrodon. Its lack of passive recovery in tandem with Recover’s meagre PP means it can get worn down by repeated hits, in addition to chip damage from Sandstorm. Very important given it's one of the Supreme UUverlord's key traits. Therefore Wish passers like Blissey or Clefable will greatly improve its longevity. Mega Sableye can get statused through Magic Bounce by moves like Sludge Bomb and Scald and thus appreciates cleric support from Chansey or Clefable. Pokemon like Clefable and Mold Breaker Excadrill can effectively set up hazards against Mega Sableye. As such, backup hazard control from Pokemon like Skarmory and Mandibuzz genuinely stands out here imo, namely as a mixed ghost answer + knock and general disruption on stall. can prove helpful.

The combination of solid bulk, incredible utility, (AC) and <adjective> movepool whatever adjective you want, just make it a separate part of the list from "incredible" utility, there are many synonyms of incredible out there like amazing or spectacular, and Magic Bounce makes Mega Sableye a near-(AH)mandatory addition on stall teams. Thanks to Magic Bounce, (AC) Mega Sableye is able to effectively stop entry hazards from the likes of Skarmory and Iron Treads shifted from going up on its side of the field, (AC) connects with the "and" from the likes of Skarmory and Iron Treads shifted and thanks to its Ghost-(RH)typing it can block Rapid Spin from the likes of Excadrill and Iron Treads. Knock Off is used for its ability to remove items like Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots from targets like Celesteela and Cinderace, allowing causing i doubt opponents would "allow" their items to be removed lol them to be worn down more easily. Will-O-Wisp allows Mega Sableye to cripple physical attackers such as Excadrill and Iron Hands with a burn. It can also be used against Pokemon unbothered by Knock Off like Mega Venusaur to slowly wear them down. The final moveslot is typically given to Protect, allowing Mega Sableye to safely get its Mega Evolution nintendo coined term iirc so its capitalised off as well as scout the intentions of Choice item users like Enamorus and Keldeo. Toxic is an alternative to status Pokemon that do not mind Will-O-Wisp like Cinderace or and Pokemon -> plural Nasty Plot Hydreigon. Prankster is chosen as the pre-Mega ability on Sableye, allowing it to burn a boosted physical threat in case of emergency. Mega Sableye struggles with strong special attackers, and as such appreciates specially defensive teammates like Blissey, Ting-Lu, (AC) and Gastrodon. Its lack of passive recovery in tandem with Recover’s meagre PP means it can get worn down by repeated hits and chip damage from sandstorm sand is the weather Sandstorm is the move. Therefore, Wish passers like Blissey or and Wish passers -> plural Clefable will greatly improve its longevity. Mega Sableye can get statused through Magic Bounce by moves like Sludge Bomb and Scald and thus appreciates cleric support from Chansey or <- reminder to self: this is correct Clefable. Pokemon like Clefable and Mold Breaker Excadrill can effectively set up hazards against Mega Sableye. As such, backup hazard control from Pokemon like Skarmory and Mandibuzz can prove helpful.
