Pros:
+ Impressive physical bulk (significantly outpacing that of Dondozo and Pecharunt for reference) and good special bulk.
+ Access to strong and useful STAB attacks such as Scald, Future Sight, Psychic Noise, Psyshock and Stored Power.
+ Access to colourful coverage options to hit just about anything it wants .
+ Access to many utility and setup moves allowing for alot of set variety and ways it could be utilized.
+ The addition of Item Clause and very limited items makes the competition between Slowbro with an item and Slowbro with a mega stone close to non-existent, especially on balance and stall teams which will want to have
+ Due to how good the base form is, it is very unreliant on the mega and so you can very realistically not mega it in alot of games, possibly enabling double mega teams.
+ Its ability Shell Armour solves the main issue with Iron Defense Body Press setup by making it immune to critical hits.
Cons:
- Loss of Regenerator can not be understated as it heavily cripples its ability to not be overwhelmed by the threats it is attempting to wall, and gives even less of a leeway to play around Toxic.
- Despite access to Psychic Noise, it can struggle to use it effectively outside of Trickroom due to its speed being slower than many of our walls such as
- Significant vulnerability to being crippled by Toxic or Will-O-Wisp if attempting an Iron Defense Body Press wincon.

Slowbro can trap pokemon that can not break it with block and use them as setup fodder, Scald as a mono attacking move is fine due to the meta not having any Water Absorb Pokemon and few 4x resists.
Slack Off is more reliable however Rest allows Slowbro to not be beaten by status such as toxic from the pokemon it trapped.

Skill Swap could be used on Setup sets to take away Unaware from
Psych Up could be used instead of CM/ID/Amnesia to instantly match a CM/IDBP/BU/QD sweeper's defensive boosts to wall them way more effectively after surviving one hit, a task that should not be too hard with such monstrous bulk.
