[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Swampert is a mainstay on rain-based Water teams due to its ability Swift Swim, part-Ground typing, great role compression, and fearsome wallbreaking ability, heavily improving the Electric, Poison, and Dragon matchups. Earthquake nails Water-resistant foes like Toxapex, Hisuian Goodra, and Water Absorb Clodsire as well as Electric-types such as Tapu Koko, Iron Hands, and Zeraora. Furthermore, with sufficient chip damage, it's capable of overwhelming Ferrothorn and Gastrodon. Waterfall is nicely complemented by rain as it outdamages Ice Punch when combatting Flying-types like Zapdos and Corviknight. Waterfall is notably preferred over Liquidation due to its higher PP and potential to break through walls, such as the aforementioned Corviknight, via flinching. Ice Punch targets Dragon- and Grass-types like Dragonite, Latias, and Tapu Bulu due to their resistances to Mega Swampert's STAB combination. Flip Turn allows Mega Swampert to escape unfavorable situations and form pivoting cores with teammates like Pelipper, Greninja, and Barraskewda. Alternatively, Stealth Rock may be used to take advantage of Mega Swampert's ability to force switches, while other options such as Stone Edge and Toxic may be used to threaten Mantine, Pelipper, and Rotom-W which wall it otherwise. A Jolly nature is preferred to outpace Choice Scarf Thundurus-T, Volcarona after one Quiver Dance, and opposing Mega Swampert. However, an Adamant nature may be used for higher damage rolls against Kommo-o, Mega Venusaur, and Gastrodon. Pelipper is a perfect teammate, as it provides rain with Drizzle, slowly pivots into Mega Swampert with U-turn, and removes entry hazards with Defog. In return, Mega Swampert provides an immunity against the aforementioned Electric-type moves and threatens Rock-types such as Terrakion and Mega Diancie. Toxapex provides a buffer against Grass-types like Rillaboom and Meowscarada as well as Kommo-o while also providing Toxic Spikes to enhance Mega Swampert's wallbreaking capabilities. Furthermore, Toxapex appreciates Mega Swampert forcing out Heatran and Gholdengo, as they easily take advantage of Toxapex's passivity. Urshifu-R and Barraskewda deal with threats like Ferrothorn, Hydreigon, and Kyurem, while Mega Swampert removes Toxapex and Water Absorb Clodsire. Other Swift Swim users like Basculegion-F and Barraskewda take on threats like Slowbro and Tapu Koko outside of rain, respectively. Greninja provides speed control outside of rain and beats Fairy-types such as Tapu Bulu and Alolan Ninetales with Gunk Shot as well as overloads shared Water-resistant foes like Ferrothorn and Mega Venusaur with a Choice Specs set. Empoleon is a good teammate as it can free up Mega Swampert's Stealth Rock moveslot and switch into Freeze-Dry users like Kyurem and Alolan Ninetales.

Mega Swampert is a mainstay on (rain) Water rain teams due to it's ability Swift Swim and Ground typing, heavily improving the Electric, Poison, and Dragon matchups. Earthquake nails Water-type resists like Toxapex, Hisuian Goodra, and Water Absorb Clodsire as well as Electric-types such as Tapu Koko, Iron Hands, and Zeraora (its also strong enough to overwhelm resists like Ferro and Gastro with minimal Chip). Waterfall is nicely complimented by rain and is Mega Swampert's best move to hit Flying-types like Zapdos and Corviknight. Flip Turn allows Mega Swampert to escape unfavorable situations and forms pivoting cores with teammates like Pelipper, Greninja, and Barraskewda. Alternatively, Stealth Rock may be used to take advantage of Mega Swampert's ability to force switches while other options such as Stone Edge and Toxic may be used to threaten Mantine, Pelipper, and Rotom-W. Ice Punch targets Dragon- and Grass-types like Dragonite, Latias, and Tapu Bulu Hisuian Lilligant. A Jolly nature is preferred to outpace Choice Scarf Thundurus-T, Adamant Dragonite after two Dragon Dances (not a thing. In general, <110 scarfers), and Volcarona after one Quiver Dance, however, an Adamant Nature may be used for higher damage rolls (such as?). Pelipper is a perfect teammate as it provides rain with Drizzle, slowly pivots into Mega Swampert with U-turn, and removes entry hazards with Defog. In return, Mega Swampert provides an immunity against the aforementioned Electric-types and threatens Rock-types such as Terrakion, Mega Diancie, and Tyranitar. Toxapex provides a buffer against Grass-types like Rillaboom, Meowscarada, and Whimsicott (not the scariest mon tbh, 2 examples is fine. Also is an answer to Z-kommo which annoys M.Pert) while also providing Toxic Spikes to enhance Mega Swampert's wallbreaking capabilities. Furthermore, Toxapex appreciates Mega Swampert forcing out Heatran and Gholdengo as they easily take advantage of Toxapex's passivity. Urshifu-R and Barraskewda deal with threats like Ferrothorn, Hydreigon, and Kyurem while Mega Swampert removes Toxapex and Water Absorb Clodsire. (Add Basculegion-F as a rain abuser, deals with slowbro/psy too. Barra fast enough to deal with el Koko even with no rain too) Greninja provides speed control outside of rain and lures (beats?) in Fairy-types such as Tapu Bulu, Tapu Fini, and Alolan Ninetales with Gunk Shot (can run specs too to overload water resists/immunes). Empoleon can free up Mega Swampert's Stealth Rock moveslot and switches into Kyurem, Alolan Ninetales, and Celebi (Earth Power).

Mega Swampert is a mainstay on rain Water teams due to it's ability Swift Swim and Ground typing, heavily improving the Electric, Poison, and Dragon matchups. (I wouldn't say "mainstay" but rather one of the strongest options, it's also a strong wallbreaker and can compress roles with the aforementioned traits along with the third moveslot) Earthquake nails Water-type resists like Toxapex, Hisuian Goodra, and Water Absorb Clodsire as well as Electric-types such as Tapu Koko, Iron Hands, and Zeraora. Furthermore, with sufficient chip damage, it's capable of overwhelming Ferrothorn and Gastrodon. Waterfall is nicely complimented by rain and is Mega Swampert's best move to hit Flying-types like Zapdos and Corviknight. (Mention why it's preferred over Liquidation due to its flinch chance, which can allow it to break through checks with good luck) Flip Turn allows Mega Swampert to escape unfavorable situations and forms pivoting cores with teammates like Pelipper, Greninja, and Barraskewda. Alternatively, Stealth Rock may be used to take advantage of Mega Swampert's ability to force switches while other options such as Stone Edge and Toxic may be used to threaten Mantine, Pelipper, and Rotom-W which wall it otherwise. - 'Resists' is never used as a noun, so phrases like 'Water resists' aren't allowed.
- Changing 'and' to 'as well as' doesn't really make sense here; the sentence is simply a list of examples, so breaking a list up with 'as well as' is imo less natural than just keeping and there.
- The word 'nature' is not capitalised.
- Commas before 'as' and 'since' are always needed when those words mean because.
