[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Tyranitar serves as a valuable Stealth Rock setter and Pursuit trapper due to its powerful STAB moves, great bulk, a Rock / Dark typing, allowing it to handle Ghost- and Flying-types well. Stone Edge threatens common Defoggers in Tornadus-T, Zapdos, and Rotom-W to ensure its Stealth Rock will be staying on the field. Crunch dents Pokemon like Dragapult and Gholdengo while doing sizable damage to Gastrodon and Ferrothorn. Alternatively, Superpower can be used over Crunch to immediately threaten Kingambit, Ting-Lu, and Ferrothorn, but it leaves Mega Tyranitar unable to pressure Pokemon like Gholdengo, Clodsire, and Reuniclus. Pursuit traps Pokemon like Tapu Lele, Dragapult, Tornadus-T, and Gholdengo. 108 Speed EVs allow Mega Tyranitar to outspeed Gholdengo. Mega Tyranitar's middling defensive typing leaves it extremely vulnerable to Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny, Great Tusk, and Zamazenta. As such, defensive Pokemon like Zapdos, Gholdengo, and Toxapex pair well with Mega Tyranitar, as they cover the threats it would struggle with. Toxapex in particular appreciates Mega Tyranitar trapping Heatran and Gholdengo with Pursuit, after which it can then stack Toxic Spikes. This, along with Mega Tyranitar's Stealth Rock, wears down each other's checks like Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Zamazenta. Mega Tyranitar also appreciates Pokemon that can deal with Ground-types, such as Zapdos, Tornadus-T, and Tangrowth. Fighting-type partners such as Iron Valiant and Zamazenta greatly appreciate Mega Tyranitar removing Pokemon like Gholdengo and Reuniclus. Mega Tyranitar's sand enables Excadrill, which is a great offensive partner to it. Excadrill is able to snipe Pokemon like Mega Diancie and Kingambit, while Tyranitar deals with Flying-types like Zapdos and Mega Charizard Y in return. Mega Tyranitar can also chip Pokemon like Rotom-W and Landorus-T, which enables Excadrill break past them more easily.

Mega Tyranitar serves as a valuable Stealth Rock setter due to its powerful STAB moves, great bulk, and being able to Pursuit trap menaces such as Dragapult, Tapu Lele, and Gholdengo. 100% elaborate on its typing; how does being a ghost / flying resist make it so potent at keeping rocks up? mention torn as a pursuit target as well Stone Edge is able to threaten common Defoggers in Tornadus-T, Zapdos, and Dragonite has anyone actually used this like lets be real.. mention heavily wearing down washer instead of dnite to assure its Stealth Rock will be staying on the field. Crunch is able to dent Pokemon like Dragapult and Gholdengo while doing sizable damage to Gastrodon and Ferrothorn. Alternatively, Superpower can be used over Crunch to immediately threaten Kingambit, Ting-Lu, and Ferrothorn, but leaves you we dont use second person to refer to the mon unable to pressure Pokemon like Dragapult not entirely true, stone edge while unreliable def beats it, mention another mon here like clod and Reuniclus. Pursuit is able to trap Pokemon like Tapu Lele, Dragapult, Tornadus-T, and Gholdengo. 108 Speed EVs allow Mega Tyranitar to outspeed Defensive Gholdengo. Mega Tyranitar's middling defensive typing leaves it extremely vulnarable to Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny, Great Tusk, and Zamazenta. As such, defensive Pokemon like Zapdos, Gholdengo, and Toxapex pair well with Mega Tyranitar, as they cover the threats it would struggle with. Toxapex in particular can appreciate Mega Tyranitar being able to trap Heatran and Gholdengo with Pursuit, where it can then there stack Toxic Spikes combined with Mega Tyranitar's Stealth Rock, which can wear down checks to the two like Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Zamazenta. Mega Tyranitar also appriciates Pokemon that can deal with Ground-types, such as Zapdos, Tornadus-T, and Tangrowth. If using Mega Tyranitar as a dedicated Sand setter, it enables the great offensive partner Excadrill.
