So I've been away from playing Pokemon for a while now, and I've only recently gotten back into it with Pokemon go and Sun and Moon. So I thought I would share one of my older teams that I started using again and it seemed like it still held up, any and all criticism is appreciated. (Sorry if my English is bad)
Mega Venusaur

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 248 HP / 96 Def / 144 SpD / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Synthesis
- Sludge Bomb
- Leech Seed
Venusaur was always one of my favorite megas so I based the team around him. The set is mixed bulk and it can live just about any one hit unless it is from banded fire bird, or the ever unfortunate crit. The set is pretty generic running Synthesis, Giga Drain, and Leech Seed to help out with recovery. Sludge Bomb is the obvious STAB for the Poison typing, I really do love running this as it can take just about any hit and leech away at my opponents health. With thick fat it removes half of its weaknesses with Fire and Ice, and Ice being a very good typing in the tier.
Rotom-Wash

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Toxic/Pain Split
Rotom-Wash is a very good pairing with Venusaur I feel. With Rotom-Wash being weak to only Grass (and Mold Breaker Excadrill) and Venusaur obviously resisting that and Rotom-Wash can help out with Venusaur's Fire and Ice weaknesses before it megas as well as just be a good switch in to Ice types. The set is generic, with Volt Switch there for a pivot, and Hydro Pump being a really strong water STAB. Wil-O-Wisp is to burn and cripple most physical attackers, as well as get residual damage on walls. The last move was really just a toss up, as the only things that resist Wil-O are other fire types which can be killed with Hydro and Guts Pokemon. So Toxic was just there as a second option for me to wear down sweepers if they got to set up. Pain Split is another option for recovery as it doesn't have much in the form of recovery outside of Leftovers, or Healing Wish from Latias.
Tyranitar

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Atk / 180 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Earthquake
This guy is one of my favorites, my biggest problem on this team was Latios and Latias so this was my best answer. He only takes 35% from a Choice Specs Latios, so I can freely switch him in on the twins with very little worry. Surf does nothing if they do have it, and Tyranitar can just trap them with Pursuit. With the Sand Storm adding onto it's special bulk along with the Assault Vest and the investments it takes hardly any damage from most special Pokemon, unless they have Focus Blast. The moves are Crunch and Stone Edge being the STAB and Earthquake being a nice middle ground. Pursuit is just to trap scarfed psychic types and the twins as mentioned before.
Latias

Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Healing Wish
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Defog
Ironic that I have this Pokemon after having a hard counter to it, but this Pokemon is so good at what it does. Latias is used more for utility than being a hard hitter, If Latios could get Healing Wish then there would be no reason to run this Pokemon. I would personally have better attack stats than some defense boosts; things like Knock Off are going to still hurt even One Hit Knock Out this Pokemon. But Healing Wish and Defog were two moves I needed and Latias fit the bill pretty well. Even with its lower attack stat Draco Meteor will still do amazing damage to most Pokemon, being one of the strongest Dragon Type attacks in the game. Psyhock is a good way to hit a special wall that would try switching in on this Pokemon. Healing Wish is used as a way to bring a Pokemon back from the dead essentially. Defog should be standard as it prevents hazard stacking and removes screens.
Landorus

Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet/Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 112 HP / 252 Atk / 144 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
Landorus is an amazing Pokemon in OU, and it pairs very well with Latias. With Landorus and Latias being able to wall nearly half the tier. Intimidate is a great ability allowing it to come in on physical attackers and almost always force a switch. Rocky Helmet is here to really punish anything that touches this Pokemon. I have also used Leftovers and both are good, its more so up to you. This set has enough speed to out speed max speed Heatran (Not timid.) I gave it max attack and a Adamant nature so it can do a lot of damage with Earthquake and the likes. Stone Edge is used to hit flying types that try and switch in on me and U-turn works well with Rotom-Wash as a sort of Volt/Turn gimmick. I shouldn't have to explain Stealth Rocks, they can be used to break Sashes, or Sturdy (bar Magic Guard.)
Heatran

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Flash Cannon
- Earth Power
- Ancient Power
This was a toss up, I was debating whether I should use Excadrill or Heatran. Excadrill could have worked as it pairs well with Tyranitar as it can use the sand to its advantage, but I felt that having a fast special hitter was a better option. Heatran is a good answer to fairy types if Venusaur was to be taken down. It can out speed most Pokemon and hit hard with Fire Blast. As stated above Fire Blast, and Flash Cannon are my main choices for STAB and they have incredible coverage. Earth Power is for other Heatrans and Ancient Power I normally have for Talonflame is my Rotom-Wash is taken out.
