Hello~! I'm not really too sure how to classify the team besides semi-stall. The mons are bulky and the longer the game goes the easier it is to win...if you make it there xD
(Venusaur) (F) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 96 Def / 144 SpD / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Leech Seed
Mega Venusaur is the resident physical wall and catch-all fairy counter for the team. Leech Seed is used to keep team members healthy along with their own forms of recovery (roost, soft-boiled), also helps Dragonite replenish its Multiscale.
(Mandibuzz) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 136 Def / 108 SpD / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Foul Play
- Roost
- Toxic
- Defog
Mandibuzz is used as a psychic sponge with enough bulk to live other coverage the mon she's switching into might have. A hoopa-unbound answer, and this team's hazard removal. Because I had to take defog, I gave taunt to my Heatran for toxic-taunt stallbreaking.
(Heatran) (M) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Magma Storm
- Taunt
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
Heatran the rocker. Decided to make this Heatran offensive because I kinda sorta maybe felt like the team was lacking some damage threat and a Heatran with coverage is always nice~ especially for opposing heatran. I took out the Steel move for Taunt because I wanted to fit that in and Venusaur should be able to handle all fairies fingers-crossed. Also magma storm is part of the DoT stallbreak with toxic. I wanted fire blast for 2hKO'ing sableyes but decided to leave that to Manaphy although not too sure that's a great idea especially since my Dragonite isn't fully offensive.
(Chansey) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
- Heal Bell
Fatty boom batty. The status sponge with cleric for the team. Was unable to put Wish on Chansey because I wanted her to have Heal Bell no matter what as Neither Venusaur, Manaphy, or Dragonite appreciate status, more so than some other mons and Chansey the unkillable fills the role quite nicely. Mega venusaur can also tank Knock offs for Chansey.
(Manaphy) @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Tail Glow
The special sweeper. Can function as one of the many status sponges on the team (only in the rain xD) and other than that can provide immediate threat with Tail Glow which is absolutely necessary for this team I feel. I used shadow ball because I thought it would be nice with HP fire but I'm not sure if I should run something else like Ice-beam instead.
(Dragonite) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 216 HP / 64 Atk / 228 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Roost
- Fire Punch
- Extreme Speed
Physical sweeper. The team is very kind to Dragonite with the anti-status and passive healing but I was afraid this Dragonite might have to take a few extra hits so I decided to make it the bulky set. I really wanted an Extreme-speed user for priority over things like Talonflame which I'm very very afraid of. I'm just hoping that in the event the other team runs out of threats Dragonite can come through with its still ridiculous attack stat and multiscale abuse haha.
Please RMT~ Thank you very much for reading and have a pleasant day
