So I've been looking through all the megas looking for some inspiration and I stumbled upon this monster (I know I'm late to the party.) I was looking at it's stats and decided to make a bulky offense/balanced team. Once agains you raters of smogon never seem to amaze me with your pinpoint rates that help me so much, so without anymore talk, here's the team.
Venusaur:
Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 20 Spe
Modest Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Synthesis
This is what the team is based around. It has so much natural bulk that I decided to use the offensive set. this thing walls so many threats in the meta, while dishing back monster hits in return. This thing puts in so much work during battles that sometimes I feel this thing has to much eight on it in the team, but with multiple ways to recover Hp it rarely buckles.
Rotom-Wash:
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
This thing has amazing synergy with venusaur as it checks all the flying spam that venu can't handle. It also spreads status around and serves as a good pivot due to It's amazing volt switch. It also covers up heatran's awful weakness to ground. This thing finds it's way on to so many of my teams and never ceases to amaze me with how much work it puts in.
Heatran:
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 192 SpD / 68 Spe
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
The third pokemon to this core. It eats up almost any special attack. It's also sets up my rocks which are invaluable to this team because they take a lot of work off of my other mons to get 2HKOs and such. It also toxics many mons on the switch because it counters A TON of things.

Landorus-Therian:
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
I decided to put this on here as a great counterpart to the /rotom-W that is already on my team becuase I've had great success using these two before. It serves as a primary revenge killer and also as another amazing pivot because of its typing and fantastic ability.
Latios:
Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Defog
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
I needed something that could fill the defog/utility role and at the same time keep up the offensive pressure. This thing ends up on so many teams because it has such amazing stats and the versatility that it has. nothing really likes to switch in on this things attacks because of their raw power.
I put on hp fighting in order to deal with bisharp because they try to pursuit trap 90% of the time.
Talonflame;
Talonflame @ Sky Plate
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- U-Turn
- Roost
- Swords Dance
I needed priority and naturally this thing came to mind. It's just a standard SD set except I put u turn to try to keep momentum in a lot of situations. this thing is a win condition due to the raw power it has after one SD much less two or three. Plus since I have Defog it makes a lot of sense.
I'm sure you guys will find plenty of tweaks to make this team better, and as always I appreciate it! Thank you!
