[SET COMMENTS]
Leveraging its high mixed natural bulk and resistances to many prominent offensive types, along with its natural ability to ignore Knock Off and status conditions, Mega Venusaur becomes a decent Mega Evolution for a myriad of team compositions. Sludge Bomb allows Mega Venusaur to threaten Fairy-types like Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, and Iron Valiant. Earth Power is required to hit Heatran and also to prevent the likes of Gholdengo, Sneasler, and Kartana from taking advantage of Mega Venusaur’s STAB options. Giga Drain hits most foes that resist its coverage moves like Landorus-T, Mega Lopunny, and Great Tusk for neutral damage. It also gives more healing opportunities, since Synthesis has low PP. The given EVs allow Mega Venusaur to outspeed Landorus-T and Moltres, potentially KOing them with a crucial Giga Drain or Sludge Bomb, respectively. Mega Venusaur pairs well with teammates with a strong offensive presence, since they can fall back on its defensive capabilities to break throughout the course of a game. Specifically, since Mega Venusaur is unfazed by Knock Off and status conditions, it can reliably check Pokemon like Toxapex and Ferrothorn. Wallbreakers like Iron Valiant and Kartana can utilize its defensive capabilities and ability to switch into their checks to wallbreak more consistently. However, Mega Venusaur is very vulnerable to entry hazards, so allies that can remove them like Rotom-W and Great Tusk make great partners. Mega Venusaur is also easily checked by the likes of Zapdos and Tapu Lele, which can threaten it with powerful STAB moves, and Skarmory, which ignores damage from its moves. Some good teammates that can cover and check these include Gliscor, Heatran, and Gholdengo; in exchange, Mega Venusaur can check opponents like Rotom-W and Landorus-T. Finally, since Synthesis heals less in rain, Mega Venusaur has reduced longevity against this archetype despite its resistance to Water, so it will need additional support from teammates like Gastrodon and Rotom-W to cover this.

Modest Nature (MVenu should be used in a more offensive manner, defensive doesnt really change many valuable breakpoints and u can abuse your broken coverage to the max)
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Earth Power
- Giga Drain / Hidden Power Fire / Leech Seed (imo hp fire/leech are very poor in comparison to giga, dont really see their application)

Mega Venusaur can leverage its high mixed natural bulk and resistances to many prominent offensive types, such as Fairy, Fighting, Water and Electric, (dex info, not gonna edit anything bc it's a GP related thing, but keep in mind) along with its natural ability to ignore Knock Off and absorb status makes it a decent Mega evolution for semi-stall and balance oriented teams. a myriad of team compositions. (you can definitely make it work effectively on these archetypes, but it also slots quite nicely on offensive builds due to its natural defensive utility + potent offensive capability, so i opted to make this more expansive) Sludge Bomb allows Mega Venusaur to threaten Fairy-types like the Tapus, Iron Valiant and Scream Tail. Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, and Iron Valiant. Earth Power is required to be able to fight Heatran, and also to prevent the likes of Gholdengo, Sneasler, Garganacl, (giga hits harder + heals) Kartana and more from taking advantage of Mega Venusaur’s otherwise passivity. STAB options. (a reader could misinterpret this meaning mvenu is passive as a whole, so reworded a bit, i see what you were going for though) Giga Drain gives Mega Venusaur a Grass-type STAB to at least neutrally cover most opponents that resist its coverage, like Landorus-T, Mega Lopunny, Great Tusk and so on. It also gives more healing since Synthesis has low PP. Hidden Power Fire allows Mega Venusaur to beat Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor, and pressure Skarmory. Leech Seed gives passive recovery and allows Mega Venusaur to pressure setup sweepers that could otherwise still take advantage of it, like Dragonite, Volcarona, and Baxcalibur. The given EVs allow Mega Venusaur to outspeed max Speed Mega Mawile. Landorus-T and Moltres, potentially scoring a crucial Giga Drain or Sludge Bomb respectively. (feel free to leave out underlined part, but i thought it gave some more substance to the sentence) Mega Venusaur pairs well with teammates with a strong offensive presence, since they can fall back on its defensive capabilities to break throughout the course of a game. Wallbreakers like Tapu Lele or Urshifu-R can utilitze its defensive capabilities to wallbreak more consistently. (these 2 sentences feels very general, what things that beat tapu lele and urshifu-R are checked by mvenu in exchange more specifically? add stuff like toxapex and ferrothorn for example) However, Mega Venusaur is very vulnerable to hazards, so allies like Rotom-W or Great Tusk that can clear them make great partners. (include some pokemon mega venusaur is weak to in a sentence here, such as zapdos, lele, and skarmory so teammates such as gliscor, heatran, and gholdengo make for good teammates etc...) Finally, since Synthesis heals less in rain, Mega Venusaur has reduced longevity against this archetype despite its resistance to Water, so it will need additional support to cover this, like Gastrodon or the aforementioned Rotom-W.

Through leveraging Leveraging its high mixed natural bulk and resistances to many prominent offensive types, along with its natural ability to ignore Knock Off and absorb status (status moves in general or status conditions?), Mega Venusaur becomes a decent Mega Evolution for a myriad of team compositions. Sludge Bomb allows Mega Venusaur to threaten Fairy-types like Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, and Iron Valiant. Earth Power is required to be able to fight hit Heatran,(RC) and also to prevent the likes of Gholdengo, Sneasler, and Kartana and the like from taking advantage of Mega Venusaur’s STAB options. Giga Drain gives Mega Venusaur a Grass-type STAB to at least neutrally cover most opponents hits most foes that resist its coverage,(RC) moves like Landorus-T, Mega Lopunny, and Great Tusk and so on for neutral damage. It also gives more healing opportunities,(AC) since Synthesis has low PP. The given EVs allow Mega Venusaur to outspeed Landorus-T and Moltres, potentially scoring KOing them with a crucial Giga Drain or Sludge Bomb,(AC) respectively. Mega Venusaur pairs well with teammates with a strong offensive presence, since they can fall back on its defensive capabilities to break throughout the course of a game. Specifically, since Mega Venusaur is unfazed by Knock Off and status (same), it can reliably check Pokemon like Toxapex and Ferrothorn. Wallbreakers like Iron Valiant or and Kartana can utilize its defensive capabilities and ability to switch into their checks to wallbreak more consistently,(RC) by using Mega Venusaur as a cushion to switch into should they be checked. However, Mega Venusaur is very vulnerable to entry hazards, so allies that can remove them like Rotom-W or and Great Tusk that can clear them make great partners. Mega Venusaur is also easily checked by the likes of Zapdos and Tapu Lele,(AC) which can threaten it with powerful STAB moves, and Skarmory,(AC) which ignores damage from its moves. Some good teammates that can cover and check these include Gliscor, Heatran,(AC) and Gholdengo,(RC) which can check these Pokemon for Mega Venusaur; in exchange, Mega Venusaur can check opponents like Rotom-W and Landorus-T. Finally, since Synthesis heals less in rain, Mega Venusaur has reduced longevity against this archetype despite its resistance to Water, so it will need additional support from teammates like Gastrodon and Rotom-W to cover this,(RC) like Gastrodon or Rotom-W.
