XY OU Mega Zam Volt-Turn Team

I got this team that I made and been doing pretty well with it, peaking mid-high 1700's on the ladder. I pretty much wanted to use different stuff that I don't normally use used before so here it is.

Alakazam @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]

I mostly wanted to use mega alakazam to try and use greninja's ability against it as protean mega alakazam sounds so good and even at modest nature it can out speed greninja, though timid may be better with with all the new fast mega's. Psyhock, Focus Blast and Shadow Ball are self explanatory and hidden power ice to deal with dragons and landorus T.

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 140 Atk / 120 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit

I'm using Assault Vest Ttar because it's my favorite set to run on it. Has insane special bulk and it also counters the lati's which this team kind of have trouble with. Ev's are there to give it a bit more special bulk while also having a pretty good attack.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 212 SpD / 44 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

I have rotom on my team mostly because it's generally a good pokemon and it works well with scizor and landorus T. Set is pretty standard. I have a specially defensive set to deal with greninja better as I have other bird spam checks.

Tornadus-Therian (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 80 Atk / 176 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hurricane
- U-turn
- Heat Wave
- Superpower

I've never really used this thing much so decided to try it. Actually fits pretty well with the team. Regenerator is nice and wanted a mixed attacker. At first I had assault vest but put life orb because its attacks were pretty weak. I didn't know what to put for the EV's so I just copied the mixed thundurus set.

AA-12 (Scizor) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Knock Off

Choice banded scizor has dropped in usage since last gen so I wanted use it. It is actually decent at checking fairies like clefable and mega gard. I orginally had pursuit, but saw I had pursuit on TTar so I put knock off as it's a great move in general.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge

Love using Defensive Landorus-T as it's a great pivot and can't take a lot of physical attacks after intimidate. It also pairs decently well as a defensive core with rotom and to a lesser extend TTar. It's also my stealth rock setter.

After playing with this team I realized that it's actually a good volt-turn team as 4 out of the 6 pokemon have volt switch or u turn which is nice because I usually play well with volt-turn teams.
