I have been looking into competitive Pokemon, but cant get a good team. I have ade a team that i will eventually create in game, but its CRAP on Pokemon showdown.
Klefki (F) @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 224 HP / 220 Def / 64 SDef
Careful Nature
- Light screen
- Reflect
- Thunder Wave
- Foul Play
The starting Pokemon that basically just dual screen. Starting with a thunder wave to try and get both screens off. The foul play is there just in case i get both screens off and, if possible, to get a SE hit.
Tentacruel (M) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes
- Scald
- Protect
Tentacruel is basically always sent out second, as he rapid spins and sets down some toxic spikes. This is great because Klefki does not set entry hazards. scald also has the opportunity to burn which basically nullifies leftovers.
Gardevoir (F) @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic
- Moonblast
Gardevoir is the main sweeper of the team because of the ridiculous Special Attack. It also comes with a calm mind which can make her kinda tanky to special attacks.
Barbaracle (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Razor Shell
- Rock Slide
- Shell Smash
Barbaracle is the main sweeper when it comes to attack. It can easily switch in to a set up sweeper, tank the damage because of focus sash, use shell smash and then use the three coverage moves (2 STAB) and obliterate.
Trevenant (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 80 SDef / 176 Spd
Careful Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Shadow Claw
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest
Trevenant is the spin blocking tank. wood hammer is the move i use regularly, unless they are a ghost or psychic. She can switch in to spinners and also ghosts that threaten Gardevoir. REst gives extra tankyness as when you switch out, she wakes up.
Malamar (F) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Superpower
- Night Slash
- Psycho Cut
- Topsy-turvy
Malamar is the poke that I'm not so sure about. it was really just a pokemon to fill the gap and also to sweep when the others couldn't. Im thinking of replacing him with a fire (to cover cover barbaracles weaknesses) or a second special sweeper. Having 2 in 1 would be ideal, but cant find any decent candidates.
Thank in advance. :)
