Done Mesprit [QC 1/1 GP 1/1]

Mesprit @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Psyshock
- Draining Kiss
- Encore

Mesprit refuses to go down quietly, using Nasty Plot and Draining Kiss to turn games into a war of attrition that it almost always wins. This set takes advantage of the scarcity of Steel-types in ZU to function as a devastating sweeper, using its natural bulk to find setup opportunities and quickly spiral out of control. Psyshock is key to breaking through common Poison-types and special walls like Muk and Venusaur, while Draining Kiss keeps Mesprit healthy, making it difficult to revenge kill. Encore punishes Pokemon like Orthworm and Glastrier for trying to set up. Mesprit is a potent user of Terastallization, flipping the matchup against conventional checks like Spiritomb and Sneasel on its head and boosting the power of Draining Kiss with Tera Fairy. Mesprit appreciates entry hazard setters like Froslass, Whiscash, and Naclstack, which help wear down Steel-types like Orthworm and Magneton that resist Mesprit's attacks. Fighting-types such as Toxicroak or Hitmontop also pair well with Mesprit, pressuring the Dark- and Steel-types it struggles against.

Mesprit refuses to go down quietly, using Nasty Plot and Draining Kiss to turn games into a war of attrition it almost always wins. This set takes advantage of how scarce Steel-types are in ZU to function as a devastating wincon, using its natural bulk to find setup opportunities and quickly spiral out of control. Psyshock is key to breaking through common Poison-types and special walls like Muk and Lanturn Venusaur (Lanturn is PU), while Draining Kiss keeps Mesprit healthy, making it difficult to revenge kill. Encore punishes Pokemon like Orthworm and Glastrier for trying to setup, turning them into fodder for Mesprit. Mesprit excels at forcing Terastallization from opposing teams, as it is very difficult to withstand otherwise; (Paragraph was already quite long and this just didn't fit with the rest despite being true) Mesprit itself is a potent user of Terastallization as well, flipping the matchup against conventional checks like Spiritomb and Sneasel on its head with Tera Fairy and boosting the power of Draining Kiss. Mesprit appreciates hazard setters like Froslass, Whiscash, and Orthworm Naclstack (repetitive mention of Orthworm just below), which help wear down Steel-types like Orthworm and Perrserker Magneton (more meta relevancy) that resist Mesprit's attacks, while Fighting-types such as Hisuian Sneasel Toxicroak (same here) or Hitmontop pair well with Mesprit, pressuring the Dark- and Steel- types it struggles against.

Mesprit refuses to go down quietly, using Nasty Plot and Draining Kiss to turn games into a war of attrition that it almost always wins. This set takes advantage of how scarce the scarcity of Steel-types are in ZU to function as a devastating wincon, a "wincon" (win condition) in proper terms is a condition in which a game can be won; it cannot refer to a pokemon. please use a different noun using its natural bulk to find setup opportunities and quickly spiral out of control. Psyshock is key to breaking through common Poison-types and special walls like Muk and Venusaur, while Draining Kiss keeps Mesprit healthy, making it difficult to revenge kill. Encore punishes Pokemon like Orthworm and Glastrier for trying to setup, turning them into fodder for Mesprit set up. redundant Mesprit is a potent user of Terastallization, flipping the matchup against conventional checks like Spiritomb and Sneasel on its head and boosting the power of Draining Kiss with Tera Fairy. Mesprit appreciates entry hazard setters like Froslass, Whiscash, and Naclstack, which do all entry hazard setters do this or just those like the ones in the example? if the latter, remove the comma and the "which" and replace with "that" help wear down Steel-types like Orthworm and Magneton that resist Mesprit's attacks (RC). (AP) while Fighting-types such as Toxicroak or Hitmontop also pair well with Mesprit, pressuring the Dark- and Steel- types Steel-types it struggles against.
