This is about your favourite Metagross. There is 4 options:
CBand/CScarf Metagross: Meteor Smash, Earthquake, Explosion, Thunderpunch/Brick Break/Zen Headbutt/Pursuit
Agility Metagross: Agility, Earthquake, Meteor Smash, Explosion/Thunderpunch
CSpecs Metagross: Psychic, Grass Knot, Explosion, HP Fire.
 
Ops, I forgot Mixgross. I was going to list it, but at the end I forgot it. Anyway, between this four, which one do you prefer?
 
My personal favorite is choice scarf. It's not seen that often so I usually get at least one surprise kill out of it, and with ice punch and thunderpunch it's a great fallback way to deal with dragons and Gyarados.

Scarf Metagross should have Ice Punch as one of its main options.

Voted CB Metagross out of those options, but i would have gone for Mixgross had it been in the poll.
 
I love Mixgross, used it in advance to really piss people off. Choice Band is hard to pass up, though, as it just hits stuff so damn hard.
 
Close call between Agiligross and Choice Band for me, but I just love how hard and fast Agiligross can hit after an Agility. Especially now that it has Life Orb and physical Thunder Punch. Worst that might come in to try to stop it is a bulky ground or a scarf'd pokemon with a powerful super effective attack (ie. ScarfChomp).
 
The Metagross set is personally use is:

Meteor Mash; Explosion; Bullet Punch; Hammer Arm @ Life Orb

It's just for what my team needs, and not necessarily Magnet Rise Magnezone bait.

Metagross @ Expert Belt/Life Orb/Choice Specs
Quiet, Clear Body
252 HP / 20 Atk. / 232 SA

Meteor Mash
Psychic
Hidden Power (Fire)
Grass Knot

- Serebii's set. Maybe not the same EVs, but the set works, and covers many types. Also, Grass Knot can go in the physical sets, and it works very well.
 
Hm, if Mixgross was in here, I might consider to vote that instead.

But anyways, I voted the Choice Band set. STAB Meteor Mash coming from that monstrous attack fucking hurts. Not only that, but he's bulky enough to take some hits. It's a classic.

I've used the Agility set, but I feel that it isn't an immediate power like the Band set.

Scarf set is a little bit of the "okay" thing to use. Not groundbreaking, but it can thrash things around that are slower than him.

Specs is more of a suprise factor than a real damaging technique IMO, but it can work (sort of like CSpecs TTar).
 
Choice Scarf Metagross makes an amazing lead.

If they haven't figured out that it's Scarfed yet, you can also use it to get a surprise kill.

Metagross's movepool would also create a nice setup for a Life Orb set, in my opinion.

Serebii also suggests using 252 Sp. Atk EVs on Blissey. Are we listening?
 
I'm going with CBgross. Pity it's got mediocore STAB (MM is awesome, but Steel is a really bad attacking type), but it can still deal a ton of damage with it's attacks.

Agiligross is pretty good as well, but I've found it has trouble sweeping a team without being passed some attack first.
