My team at a glance: espeon, blastiose, mismagius, hitmontop, miltank, and magneton.
(lead)Espeon @ Focus sash
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 6 Hp/252 SpA/252 Spd
Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
-Psychic
-Hidden Power Ice
-Yawn
-Signal Beam
---
Espeon is a good lead. Originally I wanted Jolteon to be a fast sleep with yawn but Jolteon is in OU so I went with one of his cousins. This set is mainly used to yawn and then switch to another pokemon but it has come in handy in KOing other leads with psychic or hp ice. I carry hp ice because i like using weird hidden powers and another reason is he is pretty fast so can KO unsuspecting salamence and others if they don't dragon dance before i get espeon in.
---
Blastoise @ leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 Hp/4 Def/252 SDef
Nature: Calm (+SDef, -Atk)
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Rapid Spin
-Roar
---
Blastiose is my special sponge and a pretty good bulky water pokemon. I am usually able to either support with rapid spin or phaze with roar. I found out it is necessary to have a solid phazer as ninjask leads and ddancers can set up and KO my team. Surf is a solid STAB and ice beam for help against dragons. The special defense is needed in this team as he is the only one who specialized in that in this team and it comes in handy as I only lost 80% hp to a jolteon thunder (however, i dont know if that was max SAtk jolteon or any specific calculations).
---
Mismagius @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 Hp/252 SAtk/252 Spd
Nature: Timid (+Spd,-Atk)
-Shadow Ball
-Hidden Power Fighting
-Thunderbolt
-Destiny Bond
---
Probably the closest thing to a sweeper on my team as I really don't have one. Timid is used just for destiny bond and I like to outspeed things in general. This is relativily standard with Shadow Ball, Hp fighting (not creative with this hp), and Tbolt. Also used to resist earthquake and spin block.
---
Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 6 Def
Nature: Adamant (+Atk,-SAtk)
-Mach Punch
-Bullet Punch
-Rapid Spin
-Fake Out
---
I am very surprised hitmontop isn't used more often, it is like a poor man's scizor. I used this for spinning and also countering lucarios, and have surprised many other lucarios. I don't think one mach punch KOs lucario but with some residual damage it will. If I am unsure of what to do I usually fall to him and he helps out it compiling damage as none of my pokemon are straight up sweepers.
---
Miltank @ Leftovers
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Hp/252 Def/6 SDef
Nature: Impish (+Def, -SAtk)
-Body Slam
-Stealth Rock
-Milk Drink
-Heal Bell
---
Another pokemon I am surprised isn't used often, as it dominated back in Gold and Silver. Miltank is my pokemon who can take physical hits other than fighting. Heal Bell is so useful as my spinners get poisoned via toxic spikes and heal bell gets rid of that as well as the other statuses that can give my team problems. Scrappy is used because numerous times others switch in a ghost to take the hit and when I used thick fat I was screwed. Also, body slam does a good amount of damage to gengar since they have low defense and can paralyze.
---
Magneton @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 6 Hp/252 SAtk/252 Spd
Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power Fire
-Substitute
-Magnet Rise
---
Magneton is the best Scizor killer in the game. With max speed in Magneton, it outspeeds Scizor and OHKOs with hp fire. It also is a good counter for Metagross as long as it doesn't have choice scarf or max speed as well, and found out pretty much all do not have that. As long as it's faster it can magnet rise to avoid the Earthquake and Hp fire it down which is either a 2 HKO or 3 HKO, not sure. It isn't used for much else but Scizor is a pain in the *** and it usually does swords dance first and then switch in and OHKO.
---
I guess Magneton can be replaced with something else if you are playing in exclusive UU but I play against other OU teams so that is why he is there, and he has good resistances.
I hope i didn't make many mistakes as I have never done this before and I am not sure how to get pictures so sorry if that is irritating. I thank DJT since I posed off his DDnit and Friends! thread and used his layout as my own.
Please keep criticism constructive unless you feel like you have to be mean to get your point across and any other advice for me is appreciated.
