Alternatively, Fire Blast allows it to 2HKO Solgaleo and Magearna while still hitting Gholdengo. Focus Blast hits Dark-types such as Kingambit and Arceus-Dark and is needed over Aura Sphere to hit crucial KO ranges, such as 2HKOing Arceus-Dark and OHKOing Chi-Yu. Recover helps to offset Life Orb's recoil while also increasing Mewtwo's longevity, and it gets many opportunities to use this move due to all the switches it forces. Tera Fighting is mandatory to let Mewtwo's Focus Blast OHKO Arceus-Dark and turn its Dark and Bug weaknesses into resistances, which helps against Chi-Yu and Volcarona. Mewtwo appreciates entry hazard control from allies like Giratina and Great Tusk to help its longevity. Mandibuzz, specially defensive Arceus-Dark, and Solgaleo are often solid checks to Mewtwo, meaning Pokemon like Zamazenta-C and Zacian are good partners for it. In addition, Choice Scarf Chi-Yu and Zacian can outrun and threaten Mewtwo, making Arceus-Poison an especially potent partner, as it is the only reliable check to the combination of these Pokemon.

Also, i would def mention Mewtwo's great coverage here, massive part of why its so good.) Psystrike allows Mewtwo to bypass blanket special walls like Calm Mind Clefable and Blissey, and Shadow Ball allows it to hit Giratina and Gholdengo hard (Probably want to mention how Shadow Ball is Mewtwo's best option into Solgaleo.) . Focus Blast is strong Fighting coverage to hit Dark-types such as Kingambit and Arceus-Dark, as well as Kyurem-W. (Mewtwo OHKO's Kyurem-W with Focus Blast even if rocks are gone, so I think it's worthwhile to mention.) Recover helps to offset Life Orb’s recoil while also increasing Mewtwo’s longevity. Tera Fighting is mandatory to power up your Mewtwo's (Dont use second person pronouns in analysis stuff.) Focus Blast to OHKO Arceus-Dark and turn your its Dark- and Bug-type weaknesses into resistances. Timid is required to speed tie Spectrier and outspeed Zamazenta-C. (I don't think this is needed, to be honest. People just assume you run Timid because you make Mewtwo as fast of possible, and i don't see why you would ever run Modest.) (You for sure want to mention how Mewtwo struggles into SpD Solgaleo. Solgaleo gets the 2HKO with Knock Off and Mewtwo at best has a 3HKO on it with Shadow Ball. You can mention how physically offensive Dark- and Ground-types like Kingambit, Lando-T, and the before mentioned Great Tusk helps with this.)

  • Only a few criticisms, Sball doesn't actually do anything to Solgaleo, and Kyurem-W is almost always going to be faster than Mewtwo so Focus Blast usually isn't actually an option since Draco kills you.
  • Maybe instead of putting a comment at the bottom about Solgaleo, just add it to the counters section, since both teammates mentioned are able to beat it, Chi-yu by being Chi-yu and Zacian typically running Tb ground/fire or running tera fighting close combat, all of which beat Solgaleo
  • Mewtwo can't fit all of its coverage moves, the given set is generally what you need to run on lorb m2
