I was bored on playing SV OU and i started playing nat dex because why not. Posting the team not for flexing the mid ladder peak but mostly because i had a lot of fun in this big tier.
After losing A LOT in the beginning, mostly for the "fixed" mechanic, done at the end of xy with mega evolutions like diancie having 110 speed since the first turn after the mega evolution i finally learned. Another surprise was z-moves, never played gen 7 and it takes a little to adapt when out of nowhere u get hit by 160 base power moves.
The team is a brainless HO, based on pressuring common threats and hope to not get killed.
Manaphy @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Hydration
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tail Glow
- Surf
- Energy Ball
- Ice Beam
First pokemon i put in the team, bulkyness, very nice coverage, was so weird seeing him UUBL. Covert cloak is mostly for garg who tries to tera water and bait me with salt cure.Iit does not perform good like i thought in the beginning, expecting him to take down at least 2 if not, 3 opponents pokemon but still works. Tera ice give a huge boost to ice beam while removing the weakness to electric and grass in case i need to do crazy mindgames against grass volca or tran.
Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 168 Def / 92 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Roost
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Flare Blitz
Can decently check scizor, valiant, zard y. Really apprecciate thorn weakened by the ice beams of manaphy without being forced to lose half of the health by rskin+rhelmet. At +1 i can (should?) outspeed timid/jolly dragapult, tried my beloved xy set with wow and flare blitz but isn't really functional. Tried the normal max speed max atk evs spread but it works pretty bad as a pivot in the matches i really need him. Not having a defogger is not really good but only 25% after mega evolving is manageable. Initially i used mega scizor then swapped to zard x, even tried mega diancie just for fun.
Dragapult @ Ghostium Z
Ability: Clear Body
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Darts
- Phantom Force
- Substitute
Main support for zardx and manaphy for weakening the checks they have in common like lando-t, tusk, thorn and unaware users with Never ending nightmare. Lando-t is also why i choosed clear body over infiltrator, he really hurts my team with intimidate.
Glimmora @ Focus Sash
Ability: Toxic Debris
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Mortal Spin
- Power Gem
- Earth Power
I think is a little bit more viable than SV OU and i like it more than tusk. I even put in discussion having a real suicide lead over something like rhelmet chomp but the random tspikes in some matches are so good.
Iron Valiant @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Spirit Break
- Knock Off
In some games i wish i have encore, in other the nearly perfect coverage of fight + fairy + dark makes me win the game. Main panic button when something goes wrong, not strong like in SV OU since there are a little bit more priority moves but still very strong.
Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Choice Band
Ability: Unseen Fist
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Close Combat
- Aqua Jet
- U-turn
Last pokemon who is supposed to fix all the weaknesses but it really does not. Urs add a priority move for the team + a way to always crit against setuppers + can help a lot against rain teams. Since there are only 1 or 2 viable electrics in the tier having 2 waters in the same team is maneagable. By any means, not the best pick, i could probably choose only one water and free a slot but i like it since i didn't see a lot of rocky helment users.

I struggle a little against lopunny, is so good in this meta so i think is a problem of every team, same for sneasler and the random sleep of dire claw. Zama is another huge threat and dondozo depending on the tera. I still need to learn a lot but i think i will keep playing nat dex.
