Micheal Jackson is my boyfriend

Well, I’ve been using this team in Shoddy with success, but I want to see if it’s at its greatest potential before a Sav it.

Azelf@Life Orb
Jolly
252 Atk/252 Speed/4 HP
Stealth Rock
U-Turn
Explosion
Safe Guard

He works pretty decently as a lead. Though he doesn’t set-up the rocks as fast as Aerodactyle, he can sure U-Turn and Explode with his superior attack stat. I opted for Safe Guard to give my team temporary immunity of status. He also Explodes on things giving me a hard time

Heatran@Life Orb
Modest
252 HP/96 Def/100 SpA/60 SpD
Rest
Sleep Talk
Earth Power
Lava Plume

Azelf’s Safe Guard won’t last forever, so I have this guy to take care of debilitating status. Standard ResTalking Heatran. Nothing too special about him besides serving as a Bulky special sweeper. I opted to use LO since Heatran can just recover the damage off anyways and the attack boost works wonders on him.

Celebi@Leftovers
Modest
220 HP/36 Speed/252 SpA
Leaf Storm
Psychic
Light Screen
Recover

My other bulky sweeper that’s here for its power, bulkiness, support, and to make the dreaded CeleTran combo. Leaf Storm and Psychic are there for strong STAB moves, Light Screen/Reflect support the team, and Recover ensures he stays there for awhile. In addition, Wheezing will not like getting hit with Psychic.

Gengar@Choice Scarf
Timid
252 SpA/252 Speed/4 HP
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
HP Ice
Hypnosis

One of the best revenge killers. Deoxys-E will just love eating STAB Shadow Balls, and ScarfChomp stuck on Outrage is just helplessly fucked by a swift HP Ice. Thunderbolt also takes care of birds not named Zapdos or Gliscor, and Hypnosis is useful for sending things out of comission.

Infernape@Life Orb
Naive
24 Atk/232 Speed/252 SpA
Close Combat
Flamethrower
HP Ice
Grass Knot

By far one of the best wall crushers in DP existence. He clears the field for my other pokemon to sweep more efficiently. Also useful to take out those Yache Berries from Chomp and friends.

Lucario@Life Orb
Adament
252 Atk/252 Speed/4 HP
Swords Dance
Close Combat
Bullet Punch
HP Ice

With SR support, I just couldn’t help putting a SDLuke into this team. I opted for Bullet Punch to take care of those annoying ghosts, Gengar in particular, and using HP Ice for just in case Gliscor doesn’t appear ‘till late-game.

The main goal of this team is to ruthlessly crush the other team with a never-ending barrage of attacks.
Rate and enjoy. :D

Safeguard is interesting, but unless you're afraid of random Thunderbolt paralysis or something, I would opt for Taunt to nullify slower leads like Bronzong/Hippowdon/Roserade. Taunt still stops status- albeit for less turns- but also stops Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes, which are common as lead Pokemon.

Use Jolly Azelf by the way, I personally think max speed is too important to pass up.

SR aren't really a problem for me, and I usually switch too much for toxic spikes to hinder me. I was planning on using Jolly anyways, but I think I'll go with Light Screen on Celebi. Also, I get haxed alot, which is why I used Safe Guard over Taunt.

I actually like the idea of Safe Guard on SR lead Azelf. It protects you from random Hypnosis leads like Bronzong, Roserade, Gengar, and stuff like that.

The biggest issue I have with this team is to watch out for a Gengar spamming Focus Blast. However, if you play your resistances (like going to 'Tran on Focus Blast and then Gengar on the second one, and then revenge killing it) or get up a Light Screen early it's not much of a problem.

Heatran can also be a problem, but as long as you play your resistances well you should be fine. Light Screen also helps.
