This is the team I use right now to try to work my way up the ladder. The idea is to lower the enemy pokemons hp with residual damage then wreck with Mega T-tar and/or pick-off when the opportunity presents itself.

This slot used to be Excadrill but I put Clefable in it for now because I got wrecked by one. Semi-staller/anti-dragon and flamethrower sniper. This 1 is good because sometimes it takes out 2 pokemons on its own. Also it doesn't care about hazards and sandstorm, which is good for this team.
Griselbrand (Tyranitar) (M) @ Tyranitarite

Back up sweeper/sniper/hazard control. This slot used to be Lati@s/Raikou/Thundurus but I put Zapdos in it now because again, I got wrecked by one. The heatwave is there to snipe out ferrothorns and other problematic steel types.
I'm still not completely sold on this team and would like to fit Lati@s in there. Any help/comments/suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
