[Overview]
Mienshao's attack and speed makes it an efficient Choice Scarf user in the metagame. With a Choice Scarf, Mienshao outspeeds most of the NU team and can dish out powerful attacks. It also has access to U-Turn and Regenerator, meaning Mienshao can switch out on bad matchups while recovering HP. However, Mienshao struggles to deal with physically defensive Pokémon. Mienshao is also frail and can lose to faster Pokémon if they get the opportunity to boost their speed.

Set Details
====
U-Turn allows Mienshao to switch out on Pokemon it can't defeat like Vileplume and Cresselia, while recovering HP thanks to its ablilty Regenerator. Knock Off can annoy switch ins by removing their item. Poison Jab is to deal with fairy types like Sylveon. Stone Edge can be used instead of Poison Jab to deal with flying types like Mantine, Talonflame, and Braviary.
Mienshao tends to fit in on any team and can still work. Some partners could be Galarian Articuno, who can switch into Vileplume, and is also capable of switching out with U-Turn. Galarian Articuno appreciates Mienshao defeating steel types like Copperajah. Sylveon can be used for cleric support with Wish and Heal Bell, which can help Mienshao if it got inflicted by a status condition. Rotom-Mow could be used to form a VoltTurn Core with Mienshao, and can force out flying types like Mantine, Talonflame, and Braviary. Drapion can be a good partner for Mienshao, as it can switch into predicted psychic type moves that would hit Mienshao super-effectively. Drapion can help out with damaging Cresselia, a Pokemon Mienshao can't deal with.

Other Options
====
You could run Life Orb or possibly a Choice Band if you want to sacrifice speed for more wall breaking power. You can also run an itemless Swords Dance Acrobatics set to OHKO Vileplume with +2 Acrobatics.
Checks and Counters
====
**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Mienshao tends to struggle against physically defensive Pokemon such as Vileplume, and Mantine if you're not running Stone Edge. Vileplume resists Mienshao's STAB move, can use Strength Sap to lower Mienshao's attack, Sleep Powder to put it to sleep, and can run Corrosive Gas, which, while it may not seem like a big deal at first, it makes Mienshao unable to defeat faster Pokemon it can beat with a Scarf. Mantine can annoy Mienshao because of the burn it can afflict from Scald.
**Cresselia**: Cresselia's incredible bulk makes it impossible for Mienshao to defeat, and can hit Mienshao back with a Moonblast or a STAB move. Cresselia can also heal off damage Mienshao does to it with Moonlight and the occasional Rest.
