[SET COMMENTS]

Minior serves as a late-game setup sweeper, providing teams a self-sufficient cleaner via Shell Smash and Shields Down to outspeed the entire metagame once in Base forme with Jolly, in addition to hitting hard off boosted 100 Base Attack. Acrobatics is its primary STAB, synergizing with the White Herb consumption after a Shell Smash, while Earthquake provides a strong attack against Flying-resistant Pokemon like Regirock and Jolteon and Stone Edge is used to overpower Rock-weak threats like Articuno, Beartic, and Vikavolt. Substitute provides a way manipulating HP to reach Base forme safely, at the cost of needing to make contact to hit Pokemon such as Mesprit or Weezing. The Nature selection primarily comes down to whether or not Minior needs to outspeed certain Pokemon when unboosted, such as Jolteon if Minior is in Meteor forme, or if it wants the additional power instead, such as to assure a 2HKO on Regirock and confirming an OHKO on Spiritomb without Stealth Rock. Tera Grass can be used if available to tank a hit from Pokemon like Clawitzer, Jolteon, or Lycanroc and KO them, being the best typing against common moves from priority users like Thwackey, Basculin, and Lycanroc, and can turn interactions against Lanturn and Rotom-C into setup opportunities. Alternatively, Tera Ground can be used for extra power for breaking through Regirock, as well as providing Minior with an accurate, non-contact STAB move. However, this option leaves Minior vulnerable to Basculin's Aqua Jet and Thwackey's Grassy Glide

Minior works best either on snow teams alongside Abomasnow setting Aurora Veil, where Minior can provide an answer to Charizard and other Fire-types. Minior serves as a cleaner on more bulkier teams at the end once its teammates have weakened the opposing team over time, and can also work on defensive teams as a primary win condition in a similar. Wallbreakers like Clawitzer, Jolteon, and Arboliva and Magmortar all can appreciate Minior, as they deal significant damage to walls like Weezing and Regirock over the course of a game, allowing for Minior to clean up at the end of the game. Sneasel-Hisui or Beartic in Snow can serve as a bit of a double-threat option alongside Minior, where defensive structures are often able to take on one major threat, and find themselves insufficient to wall both over the course of a game. Minior also cannot sweep if strong priority from Pokemon like Hitmontop or Lycanroc remain in play, so removing those with teammates before sweeping is a necessity. Minior can take advantage of Pokemon that do not carry super effective coverage, such as Charizard or Snorlax, as set up opportunities, so Pokemon that bring those in, such as Shaymin or Weezing, can help enable Minior to set up. Pokemon with access to removal, such as Hitmontop on more offensive teams or Sandslash elsewhere, can remove Stealth Rock that otherwise pose a serious threat to Minior's sweep. Taunt can also accomplish this task, with Persian-Alola and faster Weezing on more offensive teams and elsewhere respectively, but risk Stealth Rock going up if outplayed.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A special set can be ran with moves like Meteor Beam, Power Gem, and Earth Power, but the reduced power and lack of access to Acrobatics can make this an inferior option beyond the surprise factor. Minior also has access to some utility moves, such as Stealth Rock and U-Turn, but Minior is better off as a sweeper because its poor defensive typing leaves any support role it could play done better by other entry hazard setters like Mesprit, Sandslash, or Regirock.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physically Bulky Pokemon**: Even when boosted, physical walls like Regirock, Persian-Alola and physically defensive Mesprit can tank a hit or two from Minior and respond with significant damage. Persian-Alola can serve as a strong defensive response, tanking hits with Fur Coat and KOing it with Foul Play.

**Priority**: Without expending Tera, Minior has no way to play around priority, and moves like Basculin's Aqua Jet or Lycanroc's Accelrock both can easily KO Minior once it is in Base forme. With few resistances to common priority in ZU, Minior can often be KOd by a revenge killer ignoring speed boosts entirely. While Thwackey and Hitmontop do not carry super-effective priority, they can also KO a sufficiently weakened Minior.

**Faster Threats**: Even at +2, Meteor forme Minior can often by outsped and KOd by a revenge killer like Jolteon or Choice Scarf Rotom-C.

**Encore**: Slower Encore users like Mesprit can disrupt Minior as it tries to set up. If Prankster Encore users like Whimsicott, Sableye, or Grafaiai switch in as Minior uses Shell Smash, they can lock Minior into repeated uses of the move, forcing a switch out and wasting the White Herb.

**Haze and Phazing**: Pokemon like Weezing, Cryogonal, and Articuno can remove Minior's boosts entirely, forcing it to deal unboosted damage or attempt a predictions game on trying to get boosts back, with the added problem of the defense drops. The latter two, however, need to watch out for Stone Edge if not using Tera. Alternatively, Charizard, Dipplin, and Hippopotas can use Roar, Dragon Tail, and Whirlwind to remove Minior from the battle field entirely.

**Stealth Rock*: Minior prefers being in control of when it changes formes when possible, and Stealth Rock dealing unignorable chip just for switching in can significantly impede the ability to manage the forme transformation, on top of it making Minior much easier to KO.

Acrobatics is its primary STAB, synergizing with the White Herb consumption, but while ("but" makes it sound like Earthquake could be run over Acrobatics) Earthquake provides a way to hit strong attack against Flying-resistant Pokemon like Regirock and Jolteon and Stone Edge provides perfect coverage (Orthworm and Tera Steel Levitate users don't fear Stone Edge, so mention that the move is for hitting Rock-weak foes like Vikavolt, Beartic, and Articuno). Substitute provides a way to safely use Shell Smash if Minior comes in on a forced switch, as well as manipulating HP to reach Base forme faster, but comes at the cost of being able to avoid immunity/resistance switch mindgames. The Nature selection primarily comes down to whether or not Minior needs to outspeed certain Pokemon when unboosted, such as Jolteon if Minior is in Meteor forme, or if it wants the additional power instead (mention a couple of KO thresholds Minior reaches by going Adamant, as being slower than Jolteon is a huge drawback). Tera Grass can be used if available to tank a hit from Pokemon like Clawitzer, Jolteon, or Lycanroc and KO them, ensuring a sweep. (Mention that Tera Grass is the best defensive typing against priority move users like Thwackey and Basculin, and that the defenisve typing helps Minior to set up on Lanturn and Rotom-C more easily)

Minior works best either on hyper-offensive teams that can support its attempt to sweep with tools like screens, or on more bulky offensive teams, where Minior serves as a cleaner at the end once its teammates have weakened the opposing team over time (RP) (You mention screens, but Abomasnow is the only setter with Aurora Veil since Light Clay is banned, so change this section single it out as a partner and emphasize its ability to set up in the face of. Fire-types like Charizard that Aboma hates) Minior can also work on defensive teams as a primary win condition. Wallbreakers like Clawitzer, Jolteon, and Mismagius all can appreciate Minior, as they deal significant damage to walls like Weezing and Regirock over the course of a game, allowing for Minior to clean up at the end of the game. Sneasel-Hisui or Beartic in Snow can serve as a bit of a double-threat option alongside Minior, where defensive structures are often able to take on one major threat, and find themselves insufficient to wall both over the course of a game. Minior appreciates defensive behemoths like Snorlax or Regirock being removed, with pokemon like Passimian able to do so reliably. Minior also cannot sweep if strong priority from Pokemon like Hitmontop or Lycanroc remains in play, so removing those with teammates before sweeping is a necessity. Minior can take advantage of Pokemon that do not carry super effective coverage, such as Charizard or Farigiraf, as set up opportunities, so Pokemon that bring those in, such as Shaymin or Weezing, can help enable Minior to set up.

Other Options
=============

Minior has a handful of other options for coverage moves, such as Iron Head and Zen Headbutt to hit opponents like Beartic or Sneasel-Hisui, but its default coverage options handle the full range of the metagame in most cases. Explosion can be used as a means to do significant damage to some targets before fainting, but necessitates giving up a move to hit certain targets (RP) A special set can be ran with moves like Meteor Beam, (AC) Power Gem, Psychic (RC) and Earth Power, but the reduced power and lack of access to Acrobatics can make this an inferior option beyond the surprise factor. Minior also has access to some utility moves, such as screens (RC) Stealth Rock (RC) and U-Turn, but these often conflict with the goals of Shell Smash and Shields Down or are Minior is better off as a sweeper because its poor defensive typing leaves any support role it could play done better handled elsewhere by other entry hazard setters like Mesprit, Sandslash, or Regirock.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical WallsPhysically Bulky Pokemon**: Even when boosted, physical walls like Regirock or Spiritomb can tank a hit or two from Minior and respond with significant damage. Snorlax can also tank hits, but struggles to threaten Minior beyond the threat of a Body Slam-induced Paralysis if not sufficiently boosted by Curse already (RP) (Add Persian-A and Naclstack here)

**Priority**: Minior has no way to play around priority, and moves like Beartic's Basculin's Aqua Jet or Lycanroc's Accelrock both can easily KO Minior once it is in Base forme. (you could also mention Thwackey and Hitmontop)

**Faster Threats**: Even at +2, Meteor forme
With few resistances to common priority in ZU (RC)
Minior can often be outsped and KOd by a revenge killer ignoring speed boosts entirely like Jolteon or Choice Scarf Rotom-C.

**Encore**: If a Pokemon facing Slower Encore users like Mesprit can disrupt Minior has as it tries to set up. (AP) (There's not many viable slow Encore users) If Prankster Encore users like Whimsicott, Sableye, (AC) or if Whimsicott switches Grafaiai switch in as Minior uses Shell Smash, it they can lock Minior into repeated uses of the move, forcing a switch out and wasting the White Herb.

**Haze**: Pokemon like Weezing, Cryogonal, and Articuno can remove Minior's boosts entirely, forcing it to deal unboosted damage or attempt a predictions game on trying to get boosts back, with the added problem of the defense drops. The latter two, however, need to watch out for Stone Edge if not using Tera. (Retitle this to "Haze and Phazing" and include Charizard with Roar, Dipplin with Dragon Tail, and Hippopotas with Whirlwind)

**Stealth Rock*: Minior prefers being in control of when it changes formes when possible, and Stealth Rock dealing unignorable chip just for switching in can significantly impede the ability to manage the forme transformation. (Also just mention that it makes Minior easier to take out)

Did you mean, "comes at the cost of being forced to play switch mindgames"? Regardless, I don't see where the mindgames are, as you would shell smash on everything that isn't threatening to kill you, and if you're using sub to get to base form, there aren't any mind games The Nature selection primarily comes down to whether or not Minior needs to outspeed certain Pokemon when unboosted, such as Jolteon if Minior is in Meteor forme, or if it wants the additional power instead, such as to assure a 2HKO on Regirock and confirming an OHKO on Spiritomb without Stealth Rock. Alterantively, Tera Ground can be used for extra power for breaking through Regirock, as well as providing Minior with an accurate, non-contact STAB move. However, this option leaves Minior vulnarable to Basculin's Aqua Jet and Thwackey's Grassy Glide.

Minior appreciates defensive behemoths like Snorlax or Minior does not care about Snorlax, as the best it can hit Minior with is Crunch and it takes huge damage from Acrobatics and Stone Edge. On the contrary, Snorlax provides an easy setup opportunity for Minior. Regirock being removed, with Pokemon like passimian Passimian is not the best at breaking, at least with its scarf set which is by far the most common Clawitzer, Arboliva and Exeggutor-Alola being able to do so reliably. I think there should be a sentence or two about Minior's rock weakness and how it appreciates being paired with spinners like Hitmontop and Sandslash (Hitmontop a lot more than Sandslash as it's better at spinning and fits more on offensive teams) and taunt pokemon such as fast Weezing and Persian-Alola

**Physically Bulky Pokemon**: Even when boosted, physical walls like Regirock, Persian-Alola and physically defensive Mesprit Spiritomb (a fairy is referring to the physically defensive tomb set found here. it's really never seen so i think removing it for these other options is preferred)+2 252 Atk Minior Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Spiritomb: 280-331 (92.1 - 108.8%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO Spiritomb is not really a wall can tank a hit or two from Minior and respond with significant damage. Persian-Alola can serve as a strong defensive response, tanking hits with Fur Coat and lowering Minior's stats with Parting Shot KOing it with Foul Play Doesn't really make sense to parting shot on the sweeper instead of just KOing it, while Naclstack threatens to boost its Defense and put Minior on a timer with Salt Cure. Naclstack never uses Iron Defense and also generally is more often used as a special wall.

[SET COMMENTS]

Minior serves as a late-game setup sweeper, providing teams a self-sufficient cleaner via Shell Smash and Shields Down to outspeed the entire metagame once in Base base forme with Jolly, in addition to hitting hard off boosted 100 Base of its boosted Attack. Acrobatics is its primary STAB, synergizing synergizes with the White Herb consumption after a Shell Smash, while Earthquake provides a strong attack against Flying-resistant Pokemon like Regirock and Jolteon, (AC) and Stone Edge is used to overpower overpowers Rock-weak threats like Articuno, Beartic, and Vikavolt. Substitute provides a way manipulating HP to reach Base of reaching Core forme safely (RC) at the cost of needing to make contact to hit Pokemon such as Mesprit or and Weezing. The Nature selection primarily comes down to whether or not Jolly is used if Minior needs to outspeed certain Pokemon when unboosted, such as Jolteon if Minior is in Meteor forme, or if it wants but Adamant can be used for the additional power instead, such as to assure a 2HKO on Regirock and confirming an OHKO on Spiritomb without Stealth Rock. Tera Grass can be used if available to tank a hit from Pokemon like Clawitzer, Jolteon, or and Lycanroc and KO them, being is the best typing against common moves from priority users like Thwackey, Basculin, and Lycanroc, and can turn interactions against Lanturn and Rotom-C into setup opportunities. Alternatively, Tera Ground can be used for extra power for breaking through Regirock, as well as providing Minior with an accurate, non-contact STAB move. However, this option leaves Minior vulnerable to Basculin's Aqua Jet and Thwackey's Grassy Glide. (AP)

Minior works best either on snow teams alongside Abomasnow setting Aurora Veil, where Minior can provide an answer to Charizard and other Fire-types. Minior serves as a cleaner on more bulkier teams at the end once its teammates have weakened the opposing team over time, and it can also work on defensive teams as a primary win condition wincon in a similar fashion. Wallbreakers like Clawitzer, Jolteon, and Arboliva, (AC) and Magmortar all can appreciate Minior, as they deal significant damage to walls like Weezing and Regirock over the course of a game, allowing for Minior to clean up at the end of the game. Sneasel-Hisui late-game. Hisuian Sneasel or Beartic in Snow snow can serve as a bit of a double-threat option alongside Minior, where defensive structures are often able to take on one major threat (RC) and but find themselves insufficient to wall both threats over the course of a game. Minior also cannot sweep if strong priority from Pokemon like Hitmontop or and Lycanroc remain in play, so removing those with teammates before sweeping is a necessity. Minior can take advantage of Pokemon that do not carry super effective coverage, such as Charizard or and Snorlax, as set up setup opportunities, so Pokemon that bring those them in, such as Shaymin or and Weezing, can help enable Minior to set up. Pokemon with access to entry hazard removal, such as Hitmontop on more offensive teams or and Sandslash elsewhere, can remove Stealth Rock, (AC) which that otherwise pose poses a serious threat to Minior's sweep. Taunt can also accomplish this task, with Persian-Alola and faster Weezing Alolan Persian on more offensive teams and faster Weezing elsewhere respectively, but risk this risks Stealth Rock going up if outplayed.

Other Options
=============

A special set can be ran run with moves like Meteor Beam, Power Gem, and Earth Power, but the reduced power and lack of access to Acrobatics can make this an inferior option beyond the surprise factor. Minior also has access to some utility moves, such as Stealth Rock and U-Turn U-turn, but Minior it is better off as a sweeper because its poor defensive typing leaves any support role it could play done better by other entry hazard setters like Mesprit, Sandslash, or and Regirock.
