Draft Minior

Status
Not open for further replies.
**Draft Order**: Round 7 onwards

**Price Range**: 2-5 points

**Overview**: Minior is a niche setup sweeper thanks to Shell Smash along with a great Speed tier in Core forme. Its extra bulk in Meteor forme allows it to take resisted hits and grants a nice status immunity, giving it solid opportunities to set up. However, it can be annoying for the user if foes don't lower Minior's HP enough to activate Shields Down. Along with this, it doesn't have the best of bulk even in Meteor forme, making it hard to set up on high-damage wallbreakers. Due to this fact, Minior has a hard time against bulky attackers that resist its STAB moves as well as priority users, which can easily revenge kill it due to its extremely low bulk in Core forme.

Common Roles
========
**Sacrificial Lead**: Minior gets access to Stealth Rock and Explosion, and with Focus Sash, it can nearly guarantee that entry hazards get set up and use Explosion the next turn, allowing a teammate to get in without taking any damage. As a second option, it can set up with Shell Smash to deal immediate damage, helping its teammates later on. shell smash doesn't give its teammates immediate damage - I reworded to make more sense

**Setup Sweeper**: Thanks to Core forme having decent offensive stats and great Speed, Minior can sweep by setting up with Shell Smash. This generally works best during the late-game when most foes are chipped or KOed.

Common Moves
========
**Primary STAB Moves**: Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Power Gem, Acrobatics

**Setup Moves**: Shell Smash

**Utility Moves**: Stealth Rock, Substitute, U-turn

**Coverage**: Earthquake, Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Earth Power, Iron Head, Tera Blast

Niche Moves
========
**Explosion**: Explosion can be used as a big one-time damage move, allowing another teammate to safely switch in.

**Endeavor**: Endeavor can be an alternative to Explosion on sacrificial lead sets, dealing lots of damage to walls that Minior struggles with.

**Meteor Beam**: Meteor Beam can be used to set up and deal massive damage at the same time, but it requires Minior to be running Power Herb, making it outclassed by Shell Smash in most scenarios. If it was a downgrade it would never be used anyway

**Endure**: Endure allows Minior to safely activate Shields Down so that it can utilize its higher offensive and Speed stats.

Common Items
========
**White Herb**: White Herb is quintessential on Shell Smash sets, allowing for Acrobatics to be fully activated and preventing Minior's defensive stats from being lowered.

**Focus Sash**: Minior doesn't have the best of bulk, and Focus Sash can help guarantee Shields Down activates and boosts Acrobatics against strong sweepers such as Iron Bundle and Ogerpon-W.

Niche Items
========
**Heavy-Duty Boots**: If Minior is ran as a pivot or lead, Heavy-Duty Boots is essential to avoid chip damage and activating Shields Down on accident.

**Damage-boosting Items**: Damage-boosting items, mainly Life Orb, allow Minior to deal increased damage on sets not running setup or Acrobatics.

**Power Herb**: If Minior is running Meteor Beam, Power Herb is required for it to be used effectively.

Tera
========
Minior should never be a primary Tera Captain, but when paired with a high-point Tera Captain, it can be a great secondary Tera Captain, (AC) since it benefits a lot from a vast selection of Tera types. It can use Tera Flying to increase Acrobatics's damage and give it a consistent Flying-type move for special sets. Tera Electric and Steel can patch up defensive weaknesses, and Tera Water adds much needed-coverage with Tera Blast.

Draft Strategy
========
Minior should be drafted on teams that do fine without it. It can occasionally be used as a cheap secondary sweeper and a utility Pokemon, allowing it to fit on many teams as a late pick. It is also able to KO many strong threats after setup, such as Iron Valiant, Chi-Yu, and Darkrai, setting up opportunities in the late-game if opponents are not prepared for it. Minior does well on hyper offense teams as a sacrificial lead and on balance teams with both of its sets. It also often relies on teammates to break through foes that check it and take hits it does not want to take.

**A Normal, Functioning Team**: Minior is usually slapped onto to teams that don't really need it but like some of its features as an extremely cheap Pokemon. It can pick off weakened targets, provide chip damage for its teammates, become a dangerous setup sweeper, or act as a slow or fast pivot depending on its forme. Reworded this whole part to better explain how it benefits teammates in different ways

**Entry Hazard Support**: Stealth Rock can check Minior hard, since it does not want to run Heavy-Duty Boots, so Pokemon that can remove entry hazards such as Corviknight and Great Tusk allow it to safely get on the field.

Checks and Counters
========
**Walls**: Minior cannot do enough damage to walls such as Clodsire and Dondozo, making setup sets completely nullified. Along with this, many Pokemon with decent physical or special bulk such as Gliscor can tank moves after it sets up.

**Wallbreakers**: Wallbreakers such as Iron Bundle, Palafin, Latios, and Gholdengo can easily OHKO Minior before it gets an opportunity to set up Shell Smash.

**Stealth Rock Setters**: Stealth Rock makes Minior's sets that use Focus Sash useless and heavily weakens sets without Heavy-Duty Boots.

**Priority Move Users**: Pokemon such as Palafin and Raging Bolt can easily revenge kill Minior once it goes into Core forme due to its really low bulk.

[overview]
**Draft Order**: Round 7 Onwards

**Price Range**: 2-5 points

**Overview**: Minior is a niche pivot with a bunch of solid utility, and thanks to Shields Down, can turn into an unexpected bro is not a pivot its a shell smash sweeper honestly sweeper with a great speed tier after Shields Down is activated, and the ability to be both a physical and special attacker. Its Rock/Flying type is mediocre defensively, but is nice for the immunity to ground types, allowing it to lock down certain choice sweepers. Access to slow U-turn allows it to set up good positioning for its teammates, while Shell Smash + Acrobatics allows Minior to be a scary sweeper. Ground-type moves allowing it to get a free Shell Smash on choice locked foes. Even though Shields Down allows for status immunity, it can be annoying for the user if the opponent doesn't lower Minior's HP enough to activate Core Form, along with not getting solid recovery besides Rest. mention how easy it is to kill before it gets a shell smash as well as even in core form its defenses are just ok. its still a 5> point mon it can't be all good things

Common Roles
========
**Explosion Sacrifical Lead**: Minior gets access to Stealth Rock and Explosion, allowing it to deal great damage to defensively-lacking threats once it goes under 50% HP. Minior functions as a good sacrificial lead setting Stealth Rock and using Focus Sash or Endure to ensure it gets off a powerful attack in it Core Form like Explosion or Endevor before being KO'ed. Feel free to rewrite this your own way, the origional scentence doesn't really feel like its talking about a lead matchup or why you are exploding at all.

**Shell Smash Setup Sweeper**: Thanks to Core Form having base 100 Attacking stats and a base 120 Speed, Minior can knock out many sweepers sweep with Shell Smash and strong moves such as Stone Edge, Acrobatics, and Earthquake, with scary Special moves such as Power Gem and Earth Power.

**Special Sweeper**: Minior gets access to Meteor Beam and Calm Mind, allowing it to be a niche Special Sweeper once it gets out of Meteor Form. Thanks to outspeeding threats such as Iron Valiant and Chi-Yu in Core Form, It can grab quick and easy kills with Power Gem and Dazzling Gleam.

Combine with setup sweeper

Common Moves
========
**Primary STAB Moves**: Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Power Gem, Acrobatics, Meteor Beam

**Setup Moves**: Shell Smash, Calm Mind

**Utility Moves**: Stealth Rock, Light Screen, Reflect, Substitute, U-turn, Endure

**Coverage**: Explosion, Earthquake, Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Earth Power, Tera Blast, Iron Head

Niche Moves
========
**Rock Polish**: In certain situations when you need to check active threats such as Iron Bundle, Rock Polish can be used on Focus Sash sets to reverse sweep.
just run sash shell smash then
**Iron Head**: Iron Head allows Minior to have niche coverage against Fairy Types, along with running another annoying flinch move.
coverage
**Sandstorm**: Even though you would much rather have a Sand Stream User, Minior can consistently survive hits and allow Sandstorm to be easily set up.

please don't use minior to set sandstorm
**Endevor**: on sash or endure sets is a solid move, also probably does more than explosion in most cases

**Explosion**: not coverage, if you really think its not niche at least move it to the end of coverage it shound not be 1st on the list.

**Light Screen / Reflect**: These are very niche on minior

**Meteor Beam**: I really 50/50 on whether meteor beam even counts as niche when you could just shell smash and use power gem but as a one time attack its probably worth mentioning

Common Items
========
**White Herb**: This Item is quintessential for the Shell Smash sets, allowing for acrobatics to be fully activated and not lowering the defensive stats.

**Heavy-Duty Boots**: If you want to run Minior as a Pivot or Lead, Boots are essential to avoid chip damage and activating Core Form on accident.
move to niche, pivot is barely a set and lead minior wants sash since it isn't taking hazard damage anyway
**Focus Sash**: Minior doesn't have the best of bulk, and Focus Sash can help guarantee Core Form activates along with Acrobatics against strong sweepers such as Iron Bundle and Ogerpon-W. Minior is able to set Stealth Rock, or click Shell Smash. It also makes entering Core Form more reliable.
sash doesn't guarantee you get core form as opponents can play around it, the focus is more on getting you move off than activating core form.
Niche Items
========
**Light Clay**: Minior can actually run Light Screen and Reflect very well be a serviceable screens setter thanks to its solid bulk in Meteor Form.

**Damage Boosting Items**: Damage Boosting Items, mainly Life Orb allows Minior to run 4 attacking moves as at sweeper, while not missing out on too much damage potential. get extra demage on sweeping sets not running Acrobatics.

**Power Herb**: Minior runs Meteor Beam very well as a strong setup option, and Power Herb is required for moves like it. as a strong one time attack with Power Herb.

Tera
========
Minior should never really be a primary Tera Captain, since its stats are not extremely set in one way to greatly benefit. Even still with this, if you have space from spending on a High-Point Tera Captain, Minior makes a serviceable secondary Tera Captain as it benefits a lot from a vast selection of Tera Types. Minior can use Tera Flying do increase Acrobatics' damage/give it a consistent Flying move for Special Sets, Tera Electric/Tera Steel to patch up defensive weaknesses, Tera Water + Tera Blast to add much needed Coverage, and Tera Normal for funny Explosion strategies.

Draft Strategy
========
Minior can be used as a Secondary Sweeper and a Utility Pokemon, allowing it to fit on many teams. Since it's mainly a Secondary option, it should not be what you build around, along with it being such a low point Pokemon, it should not be what you build around. Minior usually finds itself setting up Stealth Rock Rocks or Screens, while also or attempting to sweep doing huge damage to unprepared teams. Minior is also able to kill many strong threats after setup, such as Iron Valiant, Chi-Yu, and Darkrai. add a scentence or 2 talking about the teammates it fits well with

**Switch-Forcing Threats Wallbreakers**: Minior's ability to set up Stealth Rock along with a slow U-turn and either Explode or U-turn, allows Choice Sweepers such wallbreakers such as Chi-Yu, Urshifu-S, and Excadrill Baxcalibur, which can force opponents to constantly switch, guaranteeing Chip Damage throughout. Wallbreakers can also weaken opponents teams allowing Minion to pick off weakened foes.

**High HP Walls**: Minior doesn't have the greatest of bulk, and Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Clefable, and Ting-Lu can help be supportive pivots into certain moves that Minior doesn't take well.

**Screen-Needing Pokemon**: Minior can easily set up screens, and it can help Pokemon such as Great Tusk, Greninja, and Weavile patch up defensive weaknesses.

**Slow Pivots**: You only want to be in core form after setting up so getting in without taking damage is important

**Entry Hazard Support**: keeping rocks off the field is important for sash sweeper sets and extra chip from your own hazards enable sweeping sets
Checks and Counters
========
**Fast Water-Types(AH)**: Pokemon such as Iron Bundle and Manaphy outspeed Minior before it is in Core Form can easily do massive damage to Minior, without Minior being able to deal damage in return, requiring Focus Sash. making it difficult for Minior to setup without focus sash.

**Walls / Unaware Users**: Minior cannot do enough damage to Walls with Unaware such as Clodsire and Dondozo, making Shell Smash sets completely nullified. along with Meteor Beam. even after a shell smash lots of mons can take a hit a ko or phaze Minior so mention that here as well

**Status Spammers**: Minior cannot handle status conditions, mainly Burn and Paralysis,which hinder common stats that it needs. Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Thundurus-I, and Skeledirge can hinder it off the switch, making Minior not do as much damage throughout the rest of the match.
the whole niche of the ability is stopping status

**wallbreakers**: it needs to live a hit to get shell smash off wallbreakers can just ohko it

**Stealth Rock**: sash sets get beat by rocks and sash is probably the best item after white herb, and in either case you're taking 25% from rocks which sucks

Thanks for the QC! The only thing I don’t understand is why I need to add a sentence on teammates it pairs well with, when they are explained after.

Thanks for the QC! The only thing I don’t understand is why I need to add a sentence on teammates it pairs well with, when they are explained after.
Mainly cause the section is about highlighting the strategy when drafting minior so some information on the kind of team it fits or or the kind of mons it fits with fit well there, it doesn't need to be specific but some general archatypes for teammates fit nicely. Take a look at some of the uploaded analyses if that doesn't make sense

Thanks for the QC! The only thing I don’t understand is why I need to add a sentence on teammates it pairs well with, when they are explained after.
Also this isn't an official qc so keep the title [0/2] also make sure to check the labels I changed most of those to go along with the standards

Not gonna approve this for qc1 yet since it needs a lot of work. Make these changes and I'll take another look. Let me know if you have any questions.
[overview]
**Draft Order**: Round 7 Onwards

**Price Range**: 2-5 points

**Overview**: Minior is a niche setup sweeper thanks to Shell Smash, along with a great speed tier of 120 in Core Form. Its Rock/Flying type is mediocre defensively, but is nice for the immunity to Ground-Type moves, allowing it to setup and lock down choice-locked sweepers. Idt this is relevant to mention, its not a defensive mon & shouldnt be the primary ground immune pokemon Its extra bulk from its Meteor form allows it to take resisted hits while also being immune to status, giving it reliable opportunities to set up. However, Even though Shields Down allows for status immunity, it can be annoying for the user if the opponent doesn't lower Minior's HP enough to activate Core Form, along with not getting solid recovery besides Rest. It doesnt need recovery for what it does Along with this, Minior doesn’t have the best of bulk even in Meteor Form, with base 60/100/100, making it hard to setup on high-damage Wallbreakers. Mention that it's extremely easy to revenge kill with bulky mons that resist its attacks & priority

Common Roles
========
**Sacrificial Lead**: Minior gets access to Stealth Rock and Explosion, and with focus sash, it can nearly guarantee entry hazards get set up and can use Explosion the next turn, allowing a teammate to get in without taking any damage. Mention that it can also shell smash with a focus sash on lead to do immediate damage and free up its teammates

**Setup Sweeper**: Thanks to Core Form having base 100 Attacking stats and a base 120 Speed decent offensive stats and great Speed, Minior can sweep by setting up with Shell Smash/Meteor Beam and strong moves such as Stone Edge, Acrobatics, and Earthquake, with scary Special moves such as Power Gem and Earth Power.

Common Moves
========
**Primary STAB Moves**: Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Power Gem, Acrobatics

**Setup Moves**: Shell Smash, Calm Mind

**Utility Moves**: Stealth Rock, Substitute, U-turn, Endure Move to niche - mention it can safely bring it into core form

**Coverage**: Earthquake, Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Earth Power, Iron Head, Tera Blast, Explosion Move to niche

Niche Moves
========
**Endeavor**: This can be a niche alternative to Explosion on the Sacrificial Lead, with it being able to deal more damage to walls that it struggles with.

**Light Screen/Reflect**: These two moves are very niche on Minior, but with Light Clay, Minior can set these up on Choice-Locked Pokemon or Leads that cannot do much damage.

**Meteor Beam**: This move can be used to set up and deal massive damage at the same time, but requires Minior to be running Power Herb, making it a downgrade of Shell Smash.

Common Items
========
**White Herb**: This Item is quintessential for the Shell Smash sets, allowing for acrobatics to be fully activated and not lowering the defensive stats.

**Focus Sash**: Minior doesn't have the best of bulk, and Focus Sash can help guarantee Core Form activates along with Acrobatics against strong sweepers such as Iron Bundle and Ogerpon-W.

Niche Items
========

**Heavy-Duty Boots**: If you want to run Minior as a Pivot or Lead, Boots are essential to avoid chip damage and activating Core Form on accident.

**Light Clay**: Minior can be a decent Screen Setter thanks to its solid bulk in Meteor Form.

**Damage Boosting Items**: Damage Boosting Items, mainly Life Orb allows Minior to deal increased damage on sets not running Setup or Acrobatics.

**Power Herb**: If Minior is running Meteor Beam, Power Herb is required to be used effectively.

Tera
========
Minior should never be a Primary Tera Captain, since its stats are not extremely set in one way to greatly benefit. Even still, if you have space from spending on a High-Point Tera Captain, Minior can be a great Secondary Tera Captain since it benefits a lot from a vast selection of Tera Types. Minior can use Tera Flying do increase Acrobatics' damage/give it a consistent Flying move for Special Sets, Tera Electric/Tera Steel to patch up defensive weaknesses, and Tera Water + Tera Blast to add much needed Coverage, and Tera Normal for funny Explosion strategies.

Draft Strategy
========
Minior should be drafted on teams that function fine without it and can be used as a cheap Secondary Sweeper and a Utility Pokemon, allowing it to fit on many teams. Since it's mainly a Secondary option, along with it being such a low point Pokemon, it should not be what you build around, along with it being such a low point Pokemon. Minior usually finds itself setting up Stealth Rock or Shell Smash, allowing it to possibly sweep unprepared teams. Minior is also able to kill many strong threats after setup, such as Iron Valiant, Chi-Yu, and Darkrai, opening up opportunities for its teammates late-game or sweeping by itself if unchecked. This Pokemon does well on Hyper Offense as a Sacrificial Lead, and Balance with both of its Sets. This Pokemon is mainly for Support, since it can help many Wallbreakers, while needing Bulkier Pokemon to help it out.

**Wallbreakers**: Minior's ability to set up Stealth Rock, then use Explosion or U-turn, allows Wallbreakers such as Chi-Yu, Urshifu-S, and Baxcalibur. These Wallbreakers also can deal massive damage to foes, allowing Minior to pick off these weakened targets.

**Walls**: Minior doesn't have the greatest of bulk, and Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Clefable, and Ting-Lu can help be supportive pivots into certain moves that Minior doesn't take well.

**Slow Pivots**: On Setup Sweeper Sets, Minior wants to setup in Meteor Form, and Pokemon such as G-Slowking allow it do safely switch without taking damage. Combine these 3 to just "A Functioning Team" or something like that - Minior's slapped onto teams at the end & it doesnt really need mons that are gonna specifically support it. Lots of this is covered in the above paragraph anyway. I'd mention the top two points in like one sentence & briefly explain how minior helps them

**Entry Hazard Support**: On sets using Focus Sash, Stealth Rock can check it hard, since it rarely wants to run Heavy-Duty Boots so Pokemon that can negate Entry Hazards such as Corviknight and Great Tusk allow it to safely get on the field.

Checks and Counters
========
**Fast Water Types(AH)**: Pokemon such as Iron Bundle and Manaphy can outspeed Minior in Meteor Form and easily do massive damage and OHKO it, without it being able to deal damage in return, making it challenging to setup or place Entry Hazards without Focus Sash. This is covered in wallbreakers

**Unaware Users/Walls**: Minior cannot do enough damage to Walls with Unaware such as Clodsire and Dondozo, making Setup Sets completely nullified. Along with this, many Pokemon with decent bulk on one side of the spectrum such as Gliscor can tank moves after setup. Change this to just "Walls" - you can give a special mention to unaware later if you want but it's not on enough pokemon to be this relevant

**Wallbreakers**: Even though these types of Pokémon are great teammates to Minior, they also Wallbreakers such as (give examples) can easily OHKO it too Minior before it gets an opportunity to use Shell Smash., putting it in the same situation as with Fast Water Types.

**Stealth Rock Setters**: Stealth Rock is everywhere in Draft Leagues, and it makes Minior’s sets that use Focus Sash useless and heavily weakens sets that use other items rather than Heavy-Duty Boots.

Add priority moves

It doesnt need recovery for what it does Along with this, Minior doesn’t have the best of bulk even in Meteor Form, with base 60/100/100, making it hard to setup on high-damage Wallbreakers. Mention that it's extremely easy to revenge kill with bulky mons that resist its attacks & priority

Common Roles
========

========
**Primary STAB Moves**: Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Power Gem, Acrobatics

**Setup Moves**: Shell Smash, Calm Mind

**Utility Moves**: Stealth Rock, Substitute, U-turn, Endure Move to niche - mention it can safely bring it into core form

**Coverage**: Earthquake, Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Earth Power, Iron Head, Tera Blast, Explosion Move to niche

Niche Moves
========

========

Niche Items
========

Tera
========

========

========

Along with this, Minior doesn’t have the best of bulk even in Meteor Form, with base 60/100/100, don't reference stats or dex info - it appears right above the analysis when it's uploaded anyway making it hard to setup on high-damage Wallbreakers. Due to this fact, Minior has a hard time against bulky attackers that resist its stabs a priority users, who can easily revenge kill it due to its extremely low bulk in Core Form.

Common Roles
========
**Sacrificial Lead**: Minior gets access to Stealth Rock and Explosion, and with focus sash, it can nearly guarantee entry hazards get set up and can use Explosion the next turn, allowing a teammate to get in without taking any damage. And as a second option, Minior can set up a shell smash to provide immediate damage for its teammates the following turn.

**Setup Sweeper**: Thanks to Core Form having decent offensive stats and great speed, Minior can sweep by setting up with Shell Smash. Say that this typically requires mons chipped / koed and works best late game

**A Normal, Functioning Team**: Minior is mainly just slapped onto to teams that don't really need it, but would like some of its features, due to it being an extremely cheap Pokemon. For Wallbreakers, Minior can pick off weakened targets. For Walls, Minior can provide chip damage along with being a dangerous setup sweeper. And for Pivots, Minior can be another slow or fast pivot, based on Core or Meteor Form.

**Entry Hazard Support**: Stealth Rock can check it hard, due to Minior not wanting to run Heavy-Duty Boots, so Pokemon that can negate Entry Hazards such as Corviknight and Great Tusk allow it to safely get on the field.

**Priority Abusers Moves**: Don't use that word in analyses Pokemon such as Palafin and Raging Bolt can easily revenge kill it once it goes into Core Form, due to its really low bulk.

Common Moves
========
**Primary STAB Moves**: Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Power Gem, Acrobatics

**Setup Moves**: Shell Smash

**Utility Moves**: Stealth Rock, Substitute, U-turn (RC)

**Coverage**: Earthquake, Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Earth Power, Iron Head, Tera Blast

========
Minior should never be a primary Tera Captain, since its stats are not extremely set in one way to greatly benefit. Even still, if you have space from spending on but when paired with a high-point Tera Captain, Minior it can be a great secondary Tera Captain, (AC) since it benefits a lot from a vast selection of Tera types. Minior It can use Tera Flying do to increase Acrobatics' Acrobatics's damage/ and give it a consistent Flying Flying-type move for special sets (RC). (AP) Tera Electric/Tera and Steel to can patch up defensive weaknesses, and Tera Water + Tera Blast to add much needed Coverage adds much needed-coverage with Tera Blast.

Draft Strategy
========
Minior should be drafted on teams that do fine without it. (AP) It can occasionally being there and can be used as a cheap secondary sweeper and a utility Pokemon, allowing it to fit on many teams as a late pick. Minior It is also able to kill KO many strong threats after setup, such as Iron Valiant, Chi-Yu, and Darkrai, setting up opportunites opportunities in the late game late-game if opponents are not prepared for it. This Pokemon Minior does well on hyper offense teams as a sacrificial lead (RC) and Balance on balance teams with both of its sets. Minior's teamates aren't reliant It also often relies on it, most of the time it's reliant of them, but teammates to break through foes that check it can help many Wallbreakers, while needing Bulkier Pokemon and take hits it does not want to help it out take.

**A Normal, Functioning Team**: Minior is mainly just usually slapped onto to teams that don't really need it (RC) but would like some of its features (RC) due to it being as an extremely cheap Pokemon. For Wallbreakers, Minior It can pick off weakened targets (RP) For Walls, Minior can , (AC)provide chip damage along with being for its teammates, become a dangerous setup sweeper (RP) And for Pivots, Minior can be another, (AC) or act as a slow or fast pivot (RC) based depending on Core or Meteor Form its forme. Reworded this whole part to better explain how it benefits teammates in different ways

**Entry Hazard Support**: Stealth Rock can check it Minior hard, due to Minior since it does not wanting want to run Heavy-Duty Boots, so Pokemon that can negate remove entry hazards such as Corviknight and Great Tusk allow it to safely get on the field.

Checks and Counters
========

**Wallbreakers**: Wallbreakers such as Iron Bundle, Palafin, Latios, and Gholdnego Gholdengo can easily OHKO Minior before it gets an opportunity to set up Shell Smash.

**Stealth Rock Setters**: Stealth Rock makes Minior’s Minior's sets that use Focus Sash useless and heavily weakens sets without Heavy-Duty Boots.

**Priority Move Users**: Pokemon such as Palafin and Raging Bolt can easily revenge kill it Minior once it goes into Core Form (RC) forme due to its really low bulk.

[overview]
**Draft Order**: Round 7 onwards

**Price Range**: 2-5 points

**Overview**: Minior is a niche setup sweeper thanks to Shell Smash (RC) along with a great Speed tier in Core Form forme. Its extra bulk in Meteor Form forme allows it to take resisted hits and allows grants a nice status immunity, allowing giving it to get solid opportunities to set up. However, it can be annoying for the user if the opponent doesn't foes don't lower Minior's HP enough to activate Core Form Shields Down. Along with this, Minior doesn’t it doesn't fixing apostrophe have the best of bulk even in Meteor Form forme, making it hard to setup set up on high-damage wallbreakers. Due to this fact, Minior has a hard time against bulky attackers that resist its stabs a STAB moves as well as priority users, who which can easily revenge kill it due to its extremely low bulk in Core Form forme.

Common Roles
========
**Sacrificial Lead**: Minior gets access to Stealth Rock and Explosion, and with Focus Sash, it can nearly guarantee that entry hazards get set up and can use Explosion the next turn, allowing a teammate to get in without taking any damage. And as As a second option, Minior it can set up a with Shell Smash to provide deal immediate damage, (AC) helping for its teammates the following turn later on. shell smash doesn't give its teammates immediate damage - I reworded to make more sense

**Setup Sweeper**: Thanks to Core Form forme having decent offensive stats and great Speed, Minior can sweep by setting up with Shell Smash. This generally works best during the late game (RC) late-game when most opponents foes are chipped/KO'ed or KOed.

Common Moves
========
**Primary STAB Moves**: Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Power Gem, Acrobatics

**Setup Moves**: Shell Smash

**Utility Moves**: Stealth Rock, Substitute, U-turn (RC)

**Coverage**: Earthquake, Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Earth Power, Iron Head, Tera Blast

Niche Moves
========
**Explosion**: Explosion can be used as a big one-time damage move, allowing another teammate to safely switch in.

**Endeavor**: This Endeavor can be an alternative to Explosion on the Sacrificial Lead sacrificial lead sets, with it being able to deal more dealing lots of damage to walls that it Minior struggles with.

**Meteor Beam**: This move Meteor Beam can be used to set up and deal massive damage at the same time, but it requires Minior to be running Power Herb, making it a downgrade of outclassed by Shell Smash in most scenarios. If it was a downgrade it would never be used anyway

**Endure**: This move Endure allows Minior to easily get into Core Form, allowing safely activate Shields Down so that it to use the can utilize its higher Attacking offensive and Speed stats.

Common Items
========
**White Herb**: This Item White Herb is quintessential for the on Shell Smash sets, allowing for Acrobatics to be fully activated and not lowering the preventing Minior's defensive stats from being lowered.

**Focus Sash**: Minior doesn't have the best of bulk, and Focus Sash can help guarantee Core Form Shields Down activates along with and boosts Acrobatics against strong sweepers such as Iron Bundle and Ogerpon-W.

Niche Items
========
**Heavy-Duty Boots**: If you want to run Minior Minior is ran as a pivot or lead, Heavy-Duty Boots are is essential to avoid chip damage and activating Core Form Shields Down on accident.

**Damage Boosting Damage-boostingItems**: DamageBoosting Damage-boosting items, mainly Life Orb, (AC) allow allows Minior to deal increased damage on sets not running setup or Acrobatics.

**Power Herb**: If Minior is running Meteor Beam, Power Herb is required for it to be used effectively.

Tera
========

========

========
**Walls**: Minior cannot do enough damage to walls such as Clodsire and Dondozo, making setup sets completely nullified. Along with this, many Pokemon with decent bulk on one side of the spectrum physical or special bulk such as Gliscor can tank moves after setup it sets up.
