Pet Mod Missing Links (Flavor Slates)

Approved by AquaticPanic

Welcome to Missing Links!
Game Freak has a habit of establishing relationships between 2 or more Pokémon, be it through similar stats, version exclusivity, or even evolution line, and then proceed to cut this link off by giving one component of the link something without giving it to the other Pokémon, leaving an incomplete chain. In this Pet Mod, we seek to forge the last link between these Pokémon by giving them the appropriate component that completes the chain to their counterpart.

What is a Missing Link?
A missing link can be anything that one part of a pair of counterparts received that the other part didn't. This includes Mega Evolutions, Evolutions, Split Evolutions, Alternate forms, Prevolutions, Regional forms, new abilities, and base stat total changes. Below are a few examples of what a Missing Link is:

:butterfree: -> :beedrill: Butterfree was a counterpart to Beedrill in Gens 1-5, but didn't receive a Mega Evolution in Gen 6, so we will add a Mega Evolution
:arcanine: -> :ninetales: Arcanine
was a counterpart to Ninetales in Gens 1-6, but didn't receive a Regional form in Gen 7, so we will add a Regional form
Jynx
was a counterpart to Magmar & Electabuzz in Gens 1-3 but didn't receive an evolution in Gen 4, so we will add an evolution
:weepinbell: -> :gloom: The Bellsprout line was a counterpart to the Oddish line in Gen 1, but they didn't receive a split evolution in Gen 2, so we will add a split evolution
:skarmory: -> :mantine: Skarmory
was a counterpart to Mantine in Gens 2-3, but didn't receive a prevolution in Gen 4, so we will add a prevolution. Mantine also received +20 BST in Gen 7, so Skarmory will also receive +20 to its BST
:dustox: -> :beautifly: Dustox
is a counterpart to Beautifly via evolution line, but didn't receive a +10 stat boost in Gen 6, so we will add +10 to its BST

By my count, there are 30 Missing Links to complete, a full list of which is included at the end of this post

Pokémon: Name of the Pokémon you're giving the new ability to
Link: New Ability
Abilities: The Pokémon's set of abilities, including the new ability you added
Justification: Give a brief explanation of why you gave the Pokémon that ability. Can either be a competitive or flavor reason

In general, follow the templates above, only submit for what's on the current slate, follow any specific rules given for that slate, and, even though this is a flavor-based mod first, don't make your submissions too broken. Custom elements are allowed, but only if they are clones of existing things or very simple or purely for flavor, like evolution items. You can make 1 submission per Pokemon.

This mod is focused on flavor first, but when it is playable, it will be a National Dex OU-based Pet Mod, so keep that in mind when making your submissions
Voting will follow a weighted-points system, where you vote for up to 3 submissions in each category. Each sub you vote for earns a certain number of points depending on their position. The submission with the most points wins that category. You can vote yourself, but never as your most preferred option

Example -
If you vote for 3 things -
Weepinbell: Most preferred option (gets 3 points), Second most preferred option (gets 2 points), 3rd most preferred option (gets 1 point)

If you vote for 2 things -
Weepinbell: Most preferred option (gets 2 points), Second most preferred option (gets 1 points)

If you vote for 1 thing -
Weepinbell: Most preferred option (gets 1 point)

Below is a list of all of the Missing Links we will complete. The list came partially from this list on Bulbapedia and partially from my own discretion. This list also addresses some of the Missing Links we will not be completing
*This is NOT in the order that the slate will be in

Butterfree to Beedrill - Mega Evolution - Completed
Ekans line to Sandshrew line - Alola form - Completed
Growlithe line to Vulpix line - Alola form - Completed
Machamp to Alakazam - Mega Evolution - Completed
Weepinbell to Gloom - Split Evolution - Completed
Mankey line to Meowth line - Alola form- Completed
Mankey line to Meowth line - Galar form & Regional Evolution - Completed
Electrode to Magneton - Evolution - Completed
Magneton to Electrode - +10 BST - Completed
Magby line & Elekid line to Smoochum line - Secondary Ability - Completed
Jynx to Magmar & Electabuzz - Evolution (+ Evolution item) - Completed
Milotic to Gyarados - Mega Evolution - Completed
Ledian to Ariados - +10 BST - Completed
Politoed to Poliwrath - +10 BST - Completed
Misdreavus line to Murkrow line - Secondary Ability & Hidden Ability - Completed
Slowking to Slowbro - Mega Evolution - Completed
Skarmory to Mantine - Prevolution - Completed
Skarmory to Mantine - +20 BST - Completed
Poochyena to Zigzagoon - Galar form & Regional Evolution - Completed
Taillow to Wingull - Secondary Ability - Completed
Pelipper to Swellow - +15 BST (explanation linked since it's a little convoluted) - Completed
Dustox to Beautifly - +10 BST - Completed
Froslass to Glalie - Mega Evolution - Completed
Chesnaught & Delphox to Greninja - Battle Bond form - Completed

Following are more loose links, but they'll still be covered in Missing Links
Roggenrola line to Geodude line - Alola form - Completed
Trubbish line to Grimer & Koffing lines - Alola or Galar form (One or the other) - Completed (Alola form)
Sudowoodo to Mr. Mime - Galar form and Regional Evolution - Completed
Dragonite to Tyranitar - Mega Evolution - Completed
Zoroark to Lucario - Mega Evolution - Completed

The following are weird cases of missing links that this mod will NOT cover since they are either too much of a stretch or too weird
Scyther to Pinsir - Mega Evolution - NFE Pokémon can't have Mega Evolutions
Pinsir to Scyther - Evolution - NFE Pokemon can't have Mega Evolutions and Pinsir would become NFE
Heracross to Pinsir - Evolution, if Pinsir is given one - NFE Pokemon can't have Mega Evolutions and Heracross would become NFE
Banette to Dusclops - NFE Pokemon can't have Mega Evolutions and Banettewould become NFE
Dusclops to Banette - NFE Pokemon can't have Mega Evolutions
Petilil to Cottonee - Added typing - Adding the Fairy-typing doesn't make them not consistent counterparts anymore
Remoraid to Qwilfish - +10 BST - Both Remoraid and Qwilfish's Bulbapedia trivia sections say that they're counterparts but, like, what???
Throh & Sawk to Hitmonlee & Hitmonchan - Prevolution & Split Evolution - Tyrogue & Hitmontop already existed before Sawk & Throh, which suggests that Game Freak consciously decided to not give Sawk & Throh a Tyrogue or Hitmontop equivalent, thus never establishing them as true counterparts
Any Missing Links created by GMax forms - Dynamax is banned, so there's no point; The flavor aspect of them may be covered after all of the normal slates are done, however

If you have any questions or objections to whatever's on or not on the list, then please let me know

After all of the slates conclude, we'll finish up some more flavor components like PokeDex entries and sprites and playtest the full metagame

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
:butterfree: > :unknown: / :beedrill: > :beedrill-mega:
Pokémon: Butterfree
Link: Mega Evolution
Name of the Mega: Mega Butterfree
Name of the Mega Stone: Butterfrite
Type:

Ability: Magic Guard
Stats: 60 HP / 55 ATK / 70 DEF / 110 SpA / 130 SpD / 70 Speed (495 BST)
Added Moves: Expending Force, Extrasensory, Future Sight, Light Screen, Reflect, Dazzling Gleam
Weight: 52 kg | Height: 1.5 m
Flavor/Design: Takes a more majestic appearance with a more colorful wings, with the black spots become red and the white parts become a blend of purple, pink and magenta.
Competitive Overview: To contrast Beedrill’s fast and frail nature as a Mega Evolution, Mega Butterfree goes on a more slower but comparatively bulkier approach. Magic Guard protects it from residual damage and, after Mega Evolving, damaging entry hazards for turns beyond turn 1. Its Speed is low, which heavily encourages the use of Quiver Dance, and is physically frail, leaving it vulnerable against multiple priority moves, especially Sucker Punch, and isn’t able to do much against most Steel-type without Hidden Power.

:unknown: (:growlithe:) > :unknown: (:arcanine:) / :vulpix-alola: (:vulpix:) > :ninetales-alola: (:ninetales:)
Pokémon: Growlithe and Arcanine
Link: Alolan forms
Name of the Alolan forms: Alolan Growlithe and Alolan Arcanine
Type:
(Growlithe) >
(Arcanine)
Ability: Bewilder* / Storm Drain | Competitive
(Bewilder - Lower opponents‘ Special Attack by 1 stage upon switching in.)
Alolan Growlithe Stats: 55 HP / 60 ATK / 45 DEF / 70 SpA / 50 SpD / 70 Speed (350 BST)
Alolan Arcanine Stats: 90 HP / 90 ATK / 80 DEF / 110 SpA / 80 SpD / 105 Speed (555 BST)
Added Moves:
(Both) Surf, Dive, Hydro Pump, Rain Dance, Water Gun, Scald, Waterfall, Liquidation, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Flip Turn, Focus Blast, Aura Sphere, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Calm Mind
(Alolan Arcanine only) Aqua Tail, Final Gambit, Brine, Vacuum Wave
Removed Moves: Fire Blast, Ember, Fire Spin, Flamethrower, Fire Fang, Burn Up, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Sunny Day, Will-o-Wisp, Flame Charge, Incinerate
Alolan Growlithe Weight: 20 kg | Height: 0.8 m
Alolan Arcanine Weight: 145 kg | Height: 1.9 m
Flavor/Design: Both turn blue and white, with the top fur shaped like a wave of water. The pattern also changes to a water light pattern we see in Japanese medias, more frequently in anime. The Growlithe line adapt to Alola by gaining the ability to travel the ocean, allowing them to reach any of the four islands with grace and by concentrating their chi power.
Competitive Overview: Alolan Arcanine fuctions similarly to Keldeo, but with less power and yet with wider Abilities available. Bewilder in particular is threatening against most Special Attackers if holding an Assault Vest. Vacuum Wave also serves as an useful Special Fighting priority for Alolan Arcanine, potentially unique among Fighting-types that can learn this move alongside Lucario and Infernape.

:weepinbell: > :victreebel: or :unknown: / :gloom: > :vileplume: or :bellossom:
Pokémon: Weepinbell
Link: Evolution
New Evolution Name: Peppebell (Pepper + bell)
Type:

Abilities: Drought | Gluttony
Stats: 80 HP / 65 ATK / 70 DEF / 105 SpA / 70 SpD / 100 Speed (490 BST)
Added Moves through Weepinbell: Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Solar Blade, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Overheat, Scorching Sands, Fire Lash, Will-O-Wisp
Weight: 29.4 kg | Height: 1.5 m
Flavor/Design: Play of pepper bell. Leaves grades from green on the tips, to orange, to a vibrant red. The body is shaped like a pepper bell, with the head doubles as an artillery cannon.
Competitive Overview: A sun setter that delivers boosted Growth, Synthesis, Flamethrower / Fire Blast and instant Solar Beam. Offset by low bulk and moderate Special Attack.

mega butterfree.png

:butterfree: Pokémon: Butterfree
Link: Mega Evolution
Name of the Mega: Mega-Butterfree
Name of the Mega Stone: Butterfrite
Type:
/

Ability: Glistening Gale
"When this pokemon takes SE damage, it uses Sleep Powder."
Stats: 60 / 35 / 120 / 90 / 140 / 50
Added Moves: Magic Coat, Taunt, Dazzling Gleam, Powder, Focus Blast.
Weight
: 44.5 KG
-----------------------------------------------------
Competitive Overview: I don't have much to say for it. It's basically a bulky counterpart to beedrill that can force progression lowering the foes speed a few turns later. Butterfree can punish Grass switch ins who try to absorb stun spore with its bug moves. Butterfree is primarily held back by its crippling weakness to stealth rock, but its bulk should be able to make up for it. Magic Coat is nice to prevent rocks, Taunt is also to prevent rocks if you can, along with any other status move. Fairy is a solid defensive typing, and anything is better than Bug/Flying, plus Beedrill and Butterfree can act as actual counterparts with one being weak to the other, and don't forget stab on draining kiss. The easiest way to take advantage of this would be using Teleport.

Pokemon: Weepinbell
Link: Evolution
Evolves with a Moon stone.
Evolution Name: Dewtaku
Type
:

Abilities: Gluttony, Rain Dish
HA: Primordial Sea
Stats:
80 / 90 / 75 / 115 / 115 / 25
Added Moves: Flip Turn, Calm Mind, Rain Dance, Life Dew, Corrosive Gas, Grassy Glide, Perish Song, Heal Bell, Leech Seed, Earth Power, Jaw Lock, Earthquake, Bulldoze, Mud-Slap, Mud Bomb, Mud Shot, Sparkling Aria, Hex, Stuff Cheeks, Body Press, Encore, Leaf Storm, Stockpile, Swallow, Spit-Up, Body Slam.
Weight: 999.9 KG
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Competitive Overview: Rather than giving it Drizzle to just replace pelipper I gave it Primordial Sea for it to use defensively. Basically, It is immune to fire based attacks and can gain a stab bonus on its own water moves. The only water move it needs is Weather Ball, because you don't really need a bunch of water attacks if it has indefinite weather. Flip Turn is a nice pivoting option as well.

Work!
:growlithe::arcanine:
Pokémon: Growlithe
Link: to Vulpix-Alola
New Regional Form Name: Growlithe-Alola
Type: Fairy
Abilities: Stellar Guidance* / Justified | Air Lock [Stellar Guidance: User's Psychic moves hit one turn later]
Stats: No Change
Added Moves: Fairy Wind, Disarming Voice, Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, Aura Sphere, Gravity, Cosmic Power, Calm Mind, Charge Beam, Thunderbolt, Moonlight, Teleport, Wish, Future Sight, Dragon Dance, Rain Dance, Meteor Beam,
Removed Moves: all the fire moves except Sunny Day
Weight: Same
Flavor/Design (Optional): So 'Dogs in Space' is actually a thing and Sun/Moon are space-themed so here's a dog in space in the space-themed game. Growlithe settled with the other space mons on Ula'ula (forgetting the name now). It is able to communicate with the stars. Picture Growlithe with a space helmet. It a light blue and has dark blue stars on it.
Competitive Overview (Optional): filler pre-evo

Pokémon: Arcanine
Link: to Ninetales-Alola
New Regional Form Name: Arcanine-Alola
Type: Fairy/Psychic
Abilities: Stellar Guidance / Justified | Air Lock
Stats: No Change
Added Moves: Above, plus: Psychic, Psyshock, Confusion, Psychic Fangs, Healing Wish, Magic Coat, Psycho Cut, Skill Swap, Speed Swap, Trick, Zen Headbutt, Wonder Room, Magic Room, Trick Room, Hypnosis
Removed Moves: See Growlithe
Weight: Same
Flavor/Design (Optional): It went to space! It's still wearing its space helmet, but it's now wearing astronaut boots.
Competitive Overview (Optional): A lot of utility in this set with team support. There are too many practical uses here to list. But this is an ability in M4A so you probably know its uses. On its own, it's a Dragon Dance attacker, though it is lacking in options for Steels outside of Aura Sphere.

Pokémon: Growlithe, Arcanine
Link: Alolan Forms
New Regional Form Name: Growlithe-Alola, Arcanine-Alola
Type:
(Both)
Abilities: Intimidate / Wind Turbine* | Cloud Nine
Wind Turbine: Nullifies the enemy's Flying-Type moves. The first time the user is hit by one, increase power of own Flying-Type attacks by 50% until switched out. (Flash Fire variant)
Growlithe-A Stats: 55/70/45/70/50/60 (Unchanged from regular Growlithe)
Arcanine-A Stats: 90/110/80/91/80/104 (SpAtk -9, Spe +9)
Added Moves: Acrobatics, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Brave Bird, Defog, Fly, Gust, Roost (Both)
Hurricane, Sky Attack, Thunder, Thunderbolt (Arcanine-A only)
Removed Moves: Burn Up, Ember, Fire Blast, Fire Fang, Flare Blitz, Flamethrower, Flame Wheel, Heat Wave, Overheat, Scorching Sands
Weight: 12 kg / 26.5 lb (Growlithe-A), 125 kg / 275.6 lb (Arcanine-A)
Flavor/Design (Optional): A more cloud-colored and cloud-shaped variant of the line in appearance, including their paws having little cloud trails behind them. Their tail is now something more akin to a wind turbine, which can propel them forwards at high enough speeds to 'run' on the air.

Competitive Overview (Optional): Powerful and quick physical attacker that can choose to either punish Defog users (Will-O-Wisp affects Flash Fire, so that's good enough justification to work on status moves), or lean into being a physically defensive flying type. Cloud Nine lets it perform a bit of anti-weather as well, being immune to sand/hail damage and nullifying reliant abilities, but it's somewhat niche by comparison when you can also use it in rain teams. Stat adjustment using the weird number of 9 for the change mirrors what happened with Ninetales, but using the other attacking stat. Unlike Ninetales, its Special Attack is still alright, and it has solid coverage to use it with.

This was definitely not inspired by the fact Arcanine's Japanese name is Windie. Nope.

might do others if i feel up to it before slate ends

If there’s one thing I’m good at it’s copying blindly and pretending it’s mine
So let’s do that

:Butterfree:
Pokémon: Butterfree
Link: Mega Evolution
Name of the Mega: Mega Butterfree
Name of the Mega Stone: Butterfrite
Type:

Ability: Compound Eyes (Tinted Lens) -> Powder Shield
Powder Shield: This Pokemon cannot be struck by a critical hit.
Stats: 60 | 45 | 50 | 90 | 80 | 70 (BST: 395) -> 60 | 15 (-30) | 50 | 150 (+60) | 80 | 140 (+70) (BST: 495)
Added Moves: -NIL-
Weight: 32.0 kg -> 43.0 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional)
Competitive Overview Basically special Beedrill, and likely won’t be too viable in OU. Despite this, a blistering speed tier and ridiculously high special attack will make it potent in RU simply because of its wallbreaking potential, outclassing Tornadus-Incarnate and Noivern. Unlike Beedrill however, it’s ability is terrible and doesn’t help it at all. Coupled with an inability to hold any other item, all you need is a Pokémon which can tank a move from Butterfree.

:growlithe:
Pokémon: Growlithe
Link: Regional Form
New Regional Form Name: Growlithe-Alola
Type:

Abilities: Intimidate | Flash Fire (Justified) -> Intimidate | Snow Cloak (Justified)
Added Moves: Sheer Cold, Blizzard, Icy Wind, Ice Beam, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Muddy Water, Freeze-Dry, Aurora Beam, Frost Breath, Powder Snow, Tripel Axel
Removed Moves: Bide, Skull Bash, all Fire-type moves
Weight: 15.0kg
Flavor/Design (Optional):
Upon traveling to the Alola region, Growlithe has lost its bright orange fur, with a thick white coat covering its entire body, except its face and paws. It’s stripes have turned a light blue.
Years away from human contact has made it distrustful of humans. Its lonely howls at night can be heard for many miles around.
Competitive Overview (Optional): I don’t really not know the LC meta very well, but I don’t think a strong physical Ice-type will have a niche. Maybe against Vullaby, but with the ubiquity of Fighting-types in the meta it will likely be even more useless than Iran Kantonian counterpart.

:arcanine:
Pokémon: Arcanine
Link: Regional Form
New Regional Form Name: Arcanine-Alola
Type:

Abilities: Intimidate | Flash Fire (Justified) -> Intimidate | Snow Cloak (Justified)
Stats: 90 | 110 | 80 | 100 | 80 | 95 (BST: 555) -> 90 | 110 | 80 | 91 (-9) | 80 | 104 (+9) (BST: 555)
Added Moves: Sheer Cold, Blizzard, Icy Wind, Ice Beam, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Muddy Water, Freeze-Dry, Aurora Beam, Frost Breath, Powder Snow, Tripel Axel
Removed Moves: Bide, Skull Bash, all Fire-type moves
Weight: 155.0kg
Flavor/Design (Optional):
Retains the same features as Growlithe, but sports a much bushier tail that is stiff and pointy, perfect for use in combat — or as brushes.
The ice that burns inside it gives it the motivation to run for many miles. It always protects those in danger.
Competitive Overview (Optional): Likely slightly better than it’s Kantonian counterpart due to its higher Speed and better type combination, but not by much.

Gravity Monkey

Que des barz comme si jtais au hebs
is a Top Artist
:weepinbell:
Pokémon: Weepinbell
Link: Evolution
New Evolution Name: Canonbell
Type:

Abilities: Chlorophyll / Mega Launcher
Stats: 70 / 90 / 65 / 125 / 70 / 70
Added Moves: Dark Pulse, Aura Sphere, Fling, Lash Out, Nasty Plot
Weight: 21 kg
Flavor/Design: Looks like a canon lol
Competitive Overview: Hit them with boosted dark pulses and aura spheres. Still probably aint that good but there's not much you can do with Weepinbell.

:sm/butterfree:
Pokémon: Butterfree
Link: Mega Evolution
Name of the Mega: Mega Butterfree
Name of the Mega Stone: Butterfrite
Type:

Ability: Compound Eyes
Stats: 60 / 15 (-30) / 90 (+40) / 90 / 120 (+40) / 120 (+50) (495 BST)
Added Moves: Psyshock, Taunt, Hypnosis, Mud Bomb, Aromatherapy
Weight: 47 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): Mega Butterfree has a much larger brain, much larger and more complex than what most insectoid Pokemon have. With this higher brain power, Mega Butterfree can simply hover in the midair rather than having to manually flap it wings, giving it a lot more energy to find food or battle enemies much more efficiently.
Competitive Overview (Optional): Taunt + Quiver Dance + Compound Eyes Sleep Powder is a nightmarish combination that, combined with pretty good 60/90/140 bulk, makes Butterfree a terrifying stallbreaker, meant to build up multiple Quiver Dances in order to sweep, especially since just 90 SpA after Mega Evolving is super weak. It can also act as a straight up Quiver Dance sweeper with pretty good coverage in Bug Buzz, Psychic, and either Mud Bomb or Hidden Power Fire, or even a fast bulky pivot with U-Turn or Teleport, Sleep Powder, Stun Spore, Aromatherapy, and Defog

:sm/growlithe::sm/arcanine:
Pokémon: Growlithe
Link: Regional Form
New Regional Form Name: Growlithe-Alola
Type:

Abilities: Healer / Infiltrator / Shadow Tag
Stats: 55 / 50 / 45 / 70 / 70 / 60 (350 BST)
Added Moves: Shadow Ball, Heal Bell, Play Nice, Hex, Shadow Sneak, Poltergeist, Lick, Phantom Force, Hyper Voice, Thunder Wave, Calm Mind, Moonlight, Heal Pulse, Sing, Rain Dance, Mystical Fire, Destiny Bond, Sweet Kiss
Removed Moves: Fire Blast, Fire Fang, Flame Charge, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Overheat, Burn Up, Ember, Fire Spin, Flame Wheel, Incinerate, Scorching Sands, Close Combat, Morning Sun, Outrage, Dragon Rage, Wild Charge
Weight: 9 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): Legend has it that these ghastly puppy Pokemon first appeared long ago to a child on Memorial Hill who'd recently lost their beloved Growlithe. While its unconfirmed whether or not this Growlithe was the ghost of the lost Growlithe, it is known that this Growlithe was able to console the child by relaying messages from the lost Growlithe to the child so, in a way, the Growlithe was never lost. The child kept the ghost Growlithe around and, when others heard of this power, began using it as a therapy Pokemon to help grieving trainers get through the loss of their Pokémon by telling them messages and checking up on their Pokémon in the spirit world
Competitive Overview (Optional): Shadow Tag isn't banned in LC, though with Will-O-Wisp, Moonlight, Calm Mind, and a decent typing in Ghost, Growlithe might find itself getting banned from the tier. Without it, however, it can be an okay check to the multitude of Fighting-types in the tier, but with Knock Off being everywhere, it may struggle to get set up

New Regional Form Name: Arcanine-Alola
Type:

Abilities: Healer / Infiltrator / Shadow Tag
Stats: 90 / 80 / 80 / 110 / 100 / 95 (555 BST)
Added Moves: Shadow Ball, Heal Bell, Play Nice, Hex, Shadow Sneak, Poltergeist, Lick, Phantom Force, Hyper Voice, Thunder Wave, Calm Mind, Moonlight, Heal Pulse, Sing, Rain Dance, Mystical Fire, Destiny Bond, Sweet Kiss, Dark Pulse, Nasty Plot, Dazzling Gleam, Dream Eater
Removed Moves: Fire Blast, Fire Fang, Flame Charge, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Overheat, Burn Up, Ember, Fire Spin, Flame Wheel, Incinerate, Scorching Sands, Close Combat, Morning Sun, Outrage, Dragon Rage, Superpower, Iron Head, Wild Charge
Weight: 78 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): These ghostly Arcanines can perform the same therapeutic duties that Growlithes can, but most people prefer to have the cuter Growlithes help them grieve. Instead, these Arcanines act as the police dogs of the spirit world, protecting lost souls from being devoured by Ghost Pokémon by using its Dark powers to defeat Ghost Pokémon before the lost souls can settle down
Competitive Overview (Optional): Shadow Tag is banned in NatDex OU, so of course you don't get to abuse those shenanigans, but even without that, Alolan Arcanine can still work as a Nasty Plot sweeper with good coverage in Ghost/Fire/Fairy and a good enough defensive typing to set up with. You can also try a defensive set with Will-O-Wisp, Teleport, Moonlight, ad Calm Mind all being good options

New Evolution Name: Idobell
Type:

Abilities: Chlorophyll / Rain Dish
Stats: 80 / 90 / 105 / 90 / 70 / 55 (490 BST)
Added Moves: Life Dew, Aqua Ring, Liquidation, Scald, Surf, Soak, Whirlpool, Heal Pulse, Flower Shield, Helping Hand, Acupressure, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Hail, Heal Bell, Muddy Water, Well Wishes (Sparkling Aria clone that heals poison)
Weight: 62 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): Instead of luring other Pokémon into its mouth like Victreebel, Idobell instead brings Pokemon together by acting as a sort of fountain for other Pokemon, giving Pokemon and even humans alike tasty Water that Idobell can suck up from the ground, purify itself, and provide. However, if a trainer is dastardly enough, Idobell can harness the toxic power of its prevolutions and create a poison fountain of water for an unsuspecting target
Competitive Overview (Optional): Idobell should be a decent enough physical wall with a typing that offers useful resistances to Water and Ground, Strength Sap to make breaking through it physically a real challenge, and tools in Knock Off, Encore, Scald, Clear Smog, Acid Spray, Stun Spore, and Sleep Powder to annoy the opposing team. Heck, you can even use Flower Shield up your Defense if you really hate physical attackers. It has Chlorophyll and Ice coverage, which is rare for Sun team, though its super slow and pretty weak, so I wouldn't recommend

Some comments
Ability: Glistening Gale
"Summons Stun Spore 2 turns after using a status move."
I'm not sure if I can code this, so I may suggest that you change it to an even simpler effect. Perhaps a Poison Touch clone for Status/Special/non-contact moves and paralysis or a Perish Body clone with paralysis?

Stellar Guidance: User's non-damaging Psychic moves hit one turn later]
Same goes for this one, it might actually be easier if this ability was exactly like the similar ability from MFA and effected all Psychic moves

Powder Shield: incoming moves have a reduced (75%) chance to crit.
I might be able to code this one, but I might suggest making it a Battle Armor clone for simplicity's sake

I love all the subs we have so far, so keep em coming!

Competitive Overview (Optional)[/B]: Alolan Arcanine is a more defensive Pokémon than its Kanto-Counterpart. It has a great defensive typing, with good stats and abilities to back it up.

Flavor/Design (Optional): Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales become Ice-type which is the opposite of Fire, some might say. So, my alolan Growlithe and Arcanine are Water-type since it's also an opposite of Fire. Arcanine has the Dragon-type to contrast the Fairy-type of Alolan Ninetales.

Flavor/Design (Optional): When growlithe was brought over to alola from Kanto it original had to compete with the local rockruff in the area for terrtiory and food. This made it go from the friendly fire type puppy into a feral dark type that focused on biting and stealing food to survive. However as more invasive pokemon came in the growlithe began to aide the local rockruff instead of hurting them. This lead to some interesting developments when these growlithe evolved.
Competitive Overview (Optional): I guess it'll do stuff in LC.

Removed Moves: All Fire moves.
Weight: Stays the same
Flavor/Design (Optional): Originally when these alolan arcanine evolved they were pure dark types. However this began to change when the alolan growlithe of the area started to aide the local rockruff. As they evolved they gain more rock like traits akin to a lycanroc. This lead to the theory that the alolan growlithe population and the rockruff population had begun to interbreed leading to these rock type Alolan Arcanines.
Competitive Overview (Optional): A decently fast and decently bulky rock/dark type with STAB priority. I think it can do some pretty damaging things with stab strong jaw crunch, but really all of its abilities are good and allow it to fill a lot of different roles.

Added Moves: Heal Bell, Grassy Glide, Leech Seed, Heal Pulse, Morning Sun, Hyper Voice, Sing
Weight: 62 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): The power of the sun stone has removed its toxicity and has turned it into quite the plant. It often tries to sing while Bellossom dances. A common folktale talks about how a Buddinbell that tried to dance and Bellossom that tried to sing. It's often used to give kids motiviation to persue their dreams.
Competitive Overview (Optional): Yeah this is a bulky grass type that sets up grassy terrain to give itself more passive healing power and make earthquake even more useless. Basically this thing wants to use strength sap and ruin the days of physical ground types thinking their Earthquake is gonna make the world shake, but in fact it'll just feel fake. Make no mistake Buddinbell will just take on all ground types like a piece of cake.

Added Moves: Focus Blast
Weight: 61.23 pounds
Flavor: Butterflies have scales, and also even though it doesn't have a countertype to M-Beedrill, I thought it was more fitting that it stayed the same type, because A. it still was a counterpart in its base form, even though it wasn't a direct weakness and B. M-Beedrill doesn't change type
Summary: Multiscale allows it to take hits well at full health with access to Roost and Quiver Dance. It now has Focus Blast, which allows it to get rid of those pesky steel types that wall it. However, Stealth Rocks exist and this Pokemon can't wear lil booties (Heavy Duty Boots) to protect its feet.

Added Moves: Close Combat, Poison Jab, Knock Off, Brick Break, Growl
ReMoved: All fire type moves, Wild Charge, Solar Beam
Flavor: When Growlithe came to Alola, they lived on the streets, becoming more vicious and less friendly. They frequently picked fights, most of the time with the other Poison type Pokemon who were on the streets. Soon, they developed an immunity to the toxins that they used to fight with.
Competitive: I have no idea

Added Moves: Poison Jab, Gunk Shot, Knock Off, Brick Break, Growl, Poison Fang, Superpower
Flavor: When Alolan Growlithe evolved, they became less savage. When angered, however, they show their wild side.
Competitive: With a nice STAB combo of Fighting/Poison, it can hit hard and has two good abilities in Guts and Defiant. With a small buff in its attack and HP and already good coverage as per Kantonian Arcanine, it can act as a powerful mon.

Pokemon: Weepinbell

Clear Chime - Turns all sound moves into grass moves and gives them a 1.3x power boost

Stats: 110/50/55/110/65/100 (BST: 490)
Weight: 89.23 pounds
Flavor: Its now a bell. Literally. (well a bell flower)
Competitive: It has decently high HP, decent speed, and good special attack. It would prefer to run a choice set, whether it be scarf or specs, due to lack of boosting options outside of Growth. However, bad defenses hinder it and it does not have much more then poison and grass type moves to hit mons with.

Weight: 32.0 kg -> 43.0 kg

Growlithe settled with the other space mons on Ula'ula (forgetting the name now). It is able to communicate with the stars. Picture Growlithe with a space helmet. It a light blue and has dark blue stars on it.

Competitive Overview (Optional): A lot of utility in this set with team support. There are too many practical uses here to list. But this is an ability in M4A so you probably know its uses. On its own, it's a Dragon Dance attacker, though it is lacking in options for Steels outside of Aura Sphere.

Nope.

The ice that burns inside it gives it the motivation to run for many miles. It always protects those in danger.

New Regional Form Name: Alolan Arcanine
Type:

Abilities: Water Absorb/Intimidate/Water Veil (HA)
Stats: 90/85/105/85/95/95 (555)
Added Moves: Water Gun, Hydro Pump, Whirlpool, Surf, Scald, Liquidation, Aqua Jet, Rain Dance, Life Dew, Draco Meteor, Dragon Claw, Moonlight
Removed Moves: All Fire moves and Morning Sun
Weight: Stays the same
Competitive Overview (Optional)[/B]: Alolan Arcanine is a more defensive Pokémon than its Kanto-Counterpart.

Pokémon: Growlithe

New Regional Form Name: Alolan Growlithe
Type:

Abilities: Strong Jaw/Intimidate/Pickpocket (HA)
Stats: Stay the same
Added Moves: Knock Off, Moonlight, Stone Edge, Accelerock, Rock Tomb, Rock Throw, Rock Slide, Ice Fang, Earthquake, Stealth Rock
Removed Moves: All Fire moves.
Weight: Stays the same
Flavor/Design (Optional): When growlithe was brought over to alola from Kanto it original had to compete with the local rockruff in the area for terrtiory and food.

Pokémon: Arcanine

New Regional Form Name: Alolan Arcanine
Type:

Abilities: Strong Jaw/Intimidate/Solid Rock (HA)
Stats: 90/110/90/70/90/105
Added Moves: Knock Off, Moonlight, Stone Edge, Accelerock, Rock Tomb, Rock Throw, Rock Slide, Ice Fang, Earthquake, Stealth Rock
Removed Moves: All Fire moves.
Weight: Stays the same
Flavor/Design (Optional): Originally when these alolan arcanine evolved they were pure dark types.
Pokemon: Growlithe

New Regional Form Name: Alolan Growlithe
Type: Fighting/Poison
Abilities: Steadfast/Guts/(HA: Defiant)
Stats: 60/80/45/55/45/60
Weight:
39.67 pounds
Added Moves: Close Combat, Poison Jab, Knock Off, Brick Break, Growl
ReMoved: All fire type moves, Wild Charge, Solar Beam
Flavor: When Growlithe came to Alola, they lived on the streets, becoming more vicious and less friendly. They frequently picked fights, most of the time with the other Poison type Pokemon who were on the streets. Soon, they developed an immunity to the toxins that they used to fight with.
Competitive: I have no idea

Pokemon: Arcanine

New Regional Form Name: Alolan Arcanine
Type: Fighting/Poison
Ability: Steadfast/Guts/(HA: Defiant)
Stats: 120/130/80/60/80/95
Weight: 296.25 pounds
Added Moves: Poison Jab, Gunk Shot, Knock Off, Brick Break, Growl, Poison Fang, Superpower
Flavor: When Alolan Growlithe evolved, they became less savage. When angered, however, they show their wild side.
Competitive: With a nice STAB combo of Fighting/Poison, it can hit hard and has two good abilities in Guts and Defiant. With a small buff in its attack and HP and already good coverage as per Kantonian Arcanine, it can act as a powerful mon.

Pokémon: Weepinbell

Competitive Overview: A sun setter that delivers boosted Growth, Synthesis, Flamethrower / Fire Blast and instant Solar Beam. Offset by low bulk and moderate Special Attack.

Pokemon: Weepinbell

Pokémon: Weepinbell

New Evolution Name: Canonbell
Type:

Abilities: Chlorophyll / Mega Launcher
Stats: 70 / 90 / 65 / 125 / 70 / 70
Added Moves: Dark Pulse, Aura Sphere, Fling, Lash Out, Nasty Plot
Weight: 21 kg
Flavor/Design: Looks like a canon lol
Competitive Overview: Hit them with boosted dark pulses and aura spheres. Still probably aint that good but there's not much you can do with Weepinbell.
:sm/weepinbell:
Pokémon: Weepinbell
Link: Evolution

Pokémon: Weepinbell
Link: Evolution
New Evolution Name: Buddinbell
Type:

Abilities: Chlorophyll / Grassy Surge
Stats: 80 / 65/ 105 / 100 / 70 / 60 (490 BST)
Pokemon: Weepinbell
Link: Evolution
New Evolution Name: Ringinbell
Type: Grass
Ability: Chlorophyll/(HA: Clear Chime)
Clear Chime - Turns all sound moves into grass moves and gives them a 1.3x power boost
Added Moves: Grassy Glide, Hyper Voice, Heal Bell, Snarl, Wish
Stats: 110/50/55/110/65/100 (BST: 490)
Weight: 89.23 pounds
Flavor: Its now a bell. Literally. (well a bell flower)
Competitive: It has decently high HP, decent speed, and good special attack. It would prefer to run a choice set, whether it be scarf or specs, due to lack of boosting options outside of Growth. However, bad defenses hinder it and it does not have much more then poison and grass type moves to hit mons with.
