Quality Control Mixed Attacker Enamorus (Fairy) [QC: 1/2]

[SET]
Enamorus (F) @ Expert Belt / Heavy-Duty Boots
Name: Mixed Attacker (Fairy)
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Moonblast
- Superpower
- Earth Power
- Mystical Fire / Healing Wish

[SET COMMENTS]

Enamorus leverages its great mixed offensive cover to punish its common answers such as Hisuian Goodra, thanks to Contrary boosting its physical stats when using Superpower. More than solely KO'ing Hisuian Goodra, Superpower does hit Air Balloon Heatran and Blissey, allowing Enamorus to make significant progress in the battle. Earth Power checks Poison-types by the likes of Sneasler and Toxapex, and notably OHKOes non-Air balloon Heatran. Mystical Fire allows it to deal a good chunk of damage to the likes of Skarmory and Corviknight, which could switch in otherwise, thus substantially improving the Steel matchup. Alternatively, Healing Wish lets it fully heal one teammate. Expert Belt is recommended to take full advantage of its nice coverage options, but Heavy-Duty Boots remains a solid option if the team lacks ways to deal with Stealth Rocks.

Given its relative frailness and decent speed tier, Enamorus appreciates walls setters such as Klefki twhich can also paralyze the targets to mitigate the speed issue against scarfers and set up spikes increasing the sweeping potential of Enamorus. In the same vein, Hatterene can cripple foes with Nuzzle and prevents Stealth Rocks from being set up on Enamorus's side while dealing more effectively against foes such as Galarian Weezing and Clodsire, against which Enamorus will struggle. Offensively, Enamorus is best paired with sweepers like Choice Specs Flutter, Choice Scarf Iron Valiant, and Azumarill that can create holes in the opposing team for Enamorus. Flutter Mane easily disposes of Gholdengo and can pressure Flying and Ghost teams with its incredible raw power. Choice Scarf Iron Valiant pairs well as it can outspeed most Choice Scarf users like Landorus and Latias, as well as Choice Specs Dragapult, which would be a serious threat otherwise. Lastly, Azumarill is a fearsome sweeper, destroying most defensive cores after Belly Drum, letting Enamorus finish the job.

In return, Enamorus can help it deal with Archaludon and Hisuian Goodra which would prevent it from using Belly Drum.(overexplanation at ending leaves bad taste as if azumarill has a "disavadantage" when its moreso just a positioning thing. It may be better to say they kinda coexist for each other and support each others wincondition routes tbh in chipping the same targets)

Enamorus leverages its great mixed offensive cover to punish its common answers such as Hisuian Goodra, thanks to Contrary boosting its physical stats when using Superpower. (i would also mention after a superpower, it can live a heavy slam from hoodra. potentially as well benefitting from the gooey boost as well?? this last part is more of a suggestion, not require to add.) More than solely KO'ing Hisuian Goodra, Superpower does hit Air Balloon Heatran and Blissey, allowing Enamorus to make significant progress in the battle. Earth Power threatens checks Poison-types by the likes of non-Choice Band Sneasler and Toxapex, and notably OHKOes non-Air balloon Heatran and non-Choice Scarf Archaludon after chip. Mystical Fire allows it to deal a good chunk of damage to the likes of Skarmory and Corviknight, which could switch in otherwise, thus substantially improving the Steel matchup. Alternatively, Healing Wish lets it fully heal one teammate.(Self explanatory, if u want to keep it mention it giving setup sweeping teammates like... a second chance.) Expert Belt is recommended to take full advantage of its nice coverage options,(can possibly say it makes enamorus seem choice locked, up to u tho.) but Heavy-Duty Boots remains a solid option if the team lacks ways to deal with Stealth Rocks.

Given its relative frailness and decent speed tier, Enamorus appreciates walls setters such as Klefki to which can also paralyze the targets to mitigate the speed issue against scarfers and set up spikes increasing the sweeping potential of Enamorus.(I would reword the klefki sentence since this is not really selling klefki as it should be, this mon is like the saving grace for the type it does alot. Physical wall + Poison immunity + Steel Neutrality / Scizor Check + Screen Setter + hazard setter. And if its not running Foul Play, its running t wave which you can provide examples in which mons we are paralyzing to help enamorus.) In the same vein, Hatterene can cripple foes (like?) with Nuzzle and prevents Stealth Rocks from being set up on Enamorus's side while dealing more effectively against foes such as Galarian Weezing and Clodsire, against which Enamorus will struggle. Offensively, Enamorus is best paired with sweepers like Choice Specs Flutter(Who is Flutter?), Choice Scarf Iron Valiant, and Azumarill that can create holes in the opposing team for Enamorus.
