Mixed Tier Team

Rules: 3 OU, 2 NU, 1 UU

I wanted to try something new b/c I got bored seeing the same 6 pokemon everytime I battle.

Butterfree @ Choice Scarf
Timid
4 HP / 252SpA / 252 Spe
~ Sleep Powder
~ Stun Spore
~ U-turn / Psychic / Energy Ball
~ Bug Buzz

I always have a Butterfree ingame. I love this little guy. Sleep Powder and Stun Spore have 97.5% accuracy w/ his ability. I start off sporing to prevent Stealth Rocks. Bug Buzz is for attacking. I can't decide on Energy Ball or U-turn for the 4th move. I've used both and they both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Synergy:
Fire: Heatran, Lanturn
Electric: Lanturn
Ice: Heatran, Lanturn, Forretress
Flying: Heatran, Forrestress
Rock: Heatran, Forretress, Machamp

Persian @ Life Orb (Technician)
Jolly
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Fake Out
Bite
Seedbomb
Aerial Ace

I've never used her before this and I love her. This is one of my physical attackers and nobody knows what to expect. Fake Out, Bite, and Aerial Ace all get a boost from Technician. Her 361 speed helps out a lot. I'm thinking of using her as a lead and seeing how it goes.

Synergy:
Fighting: Forretress

Lantern @ Leftovers
Calm
40 HP / 76 Def / 140 SpA / 252 SpD
~ Surf
~ Thunderbolt
~ Ice Beam
~ Heal Bell

My special wall and cleric. Her useful resitences and unique typing work well with the rest of my team. Lanturn actually can take electric attacks and most people forget it is part electric b/c it isn't seen as much.

Synergy:
Ground: Butterfree, Forretress
Grass: Heatran, Forretress

Forretress @ Leftovers
Relaxed
252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 Def
0 speed ivs
~Rapid Spin
~Gyro Ball
~Stealth Rock
~Explosion

This is my physical wall and rapid spinner, to help out Butterfree. The ivs and nature help gyro ball hit as hard as possible. He's great at taking physical hits since and the typing allows him to have great synergy with the other team mates. I really love to come in on an outrage and explode.

Synergy:
Fire: Heatran, Lanturn

Heatran @ Leftovers
Timid
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~ Fire Blast
~ Earth Power
~ Substitute
~ Toxic

This is straight from Smogon and has worked wonders. I love it when they send a Vaporeon or other water. Heatran is one of the best Pokemon at forcing switches in the game. Because of this, Substitute is a great move choice, as it eliminates the guesswork often needed to nail his switch-ins. Flamethrower and Earth Power provide respectable coverage, and Toxic really hurts the many bulky Water-type Pokemon who tend to switch into Heatran.

Synergy:
Ground: Butterfree
Water: Lanturn
Fighting: Forretress

Machamp @ Leftovers (No Guard)
Adament
240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Spe
Substitute
DynamicPunch
Payback
Stone Edge

Machamp is just plain awsome with his ability. The 16 speed ev's is to outspeed Blissey. I decided on Ice punch to help w/ Salamence. Stone Edge is for flyers. Payback are for ghosts who would otherwise give me trouble. And ofcourse, DynamicPunch. This must be one of the top 5 moves in the game. The only way it doesn't confuse you is you have Slowbro. Substitute is a great scouting move and can prevent status.

Synergy:
Flying: Heatran, Forrestress
Psychic: Heatran, Forrestress, Lanturn(special)

So there you have it. I thought I'd mix it up a little bit for a change. Let me know of any improvement and please keep in mind my 3, 2, 1 rule to make it a little more interesting.
