Momentum

So I built this team based on the idea that I would be constantly switching, keeping momentum, pissing off my opponent. Anyway, with that... Let's meet my team <3

Team Building Process:

First member of the team is Ambipom. I always liked him as a lead. Takes out a bunch of stuff surprisingly. Very underrated imo. Fake Out + Frustration takes out Thundurus easily, other frail pokes easily. It's nice c:

Next I added Mienshao cause I just wanted another fake out + u-turn poke. And Gliscor gets screwed by HP Ice so it all works out nicely c:

Scarfzone is the most effective set for Magnezone imo, and I pretty much keep him on all my teams. Definitely my favourite poke for battling. Takes out Skarm, Ferro, Forretress, Scizor, weakened Metagross from Fake Out + U-Turns easily.

Added Scizor for the nice BP and STAB U-Turn. Used the bulky set for a bit, but then switched to a fullout offensive attack with SD/U-Turn/BP/Superpower.

So I needed something that could take a hit. I decided to go with Gliscor, a nice favourite of mine. Don't see so many Excadrill around, but still something to worry about, so gliscor is nice there. Conkelderp as well can't do much do him. So Gliscor is cute.

So, naturally, with all the switching I will be doing, entry hazards would fuck me up hard. I picked Forretress as my spinner, and use him to set up entry hazards of his own (spikes/t-spikes).

After battling for a while, I noticed that nothing here can take a special fire attack... Or any fire attack for that matter. 3 steels, 2 of them are 4x weak. I decided to switch Scizor for Suicune as I needed a bulky water. Bad.

(M) @ Normal Gem Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- U-turn
- Frustration
- Acrobatics

Ambipom is my bro. Always my lead. Always. I check out the team, if they have a ghost I U-Turn on the first turn. If it's a Ferro I will U-Turn to Forretress and start setting up hazards and then spinning, then a volt switch to Magnezone where Ferro dies. Easily.

Ambipom outspeeds opposing Mienshao and will take them out with Fake out followed by anything. Usually I will Acrobatics so I can U-Turn their new poke, or I'll U-Turn to Mienshao to Fake Out + U-Turn again.

472.png
(F) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Ice Fang
Standard Defensive set, stuck U-turn on instead of Toxic just cause, well, U-Turn team. And Forretress sets up toxic spikes and can almost always get 2 sets up. Switch in on

620.png
(F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Fake Out
- U-turn
- Hi Jump Kick
- Hidden Power [Ice]
More annoying Fake Out + U-Turn stuff. Whimsicott gets wrecked by constant switching between Ambipom and Mienshao. And everyone else just gets annoyed. HP Ice Takes out Landorus and Gliscor. Hi Jump Kick for sexy STAB, Blissey/Chansey are gone.

205.png
(M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Toxic Spikes
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch
Sets up hazards, spins. Try to get him out against Ferro, since ferro can't do anything. c:

245.png
@ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Surf
- Calm Mind
Bulky as fuck holy shit. Survived a +4 EQ from Excadrill. That was impressive. Easy to setup with CMs to get massive mixed bulk. Running Surf instead of Scald cause I usually have Toxic Spikes up and no point in more status. Has swept full teams before, just gets forced out basically by Jellicent, Vaporeon, Gastrodon etc. Unless They have been poisoned, in which case I just stall them out c:

462.png
@ Choice Scarf
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
It's Scarfzone. Traps Steels, scouts with Volt Switch, more momentum keeping, etc.

So basically I love this team more than any other team I have made. It is surprisingly useful, but Gastrodon = loss. I don't know what to do to counter gastrodon :c
I have been thinking of replacing Gliscor with Bronzong and putting Grass Knot on Bronzong. I also feel like rocks would be nice, and Bronzong can contribute those. It would be SR/EQ/Grass Knot/Gyro Ball.

Any kind of feedback would be awesome, suggestions are more than welcome.

You are very weak to Reuniclus, both Calm Mind and Trick Room because you can't really hit it for good damage. U-turn is super effective, but still does 'meh' damage. Calm Mind can just set up and Recover when needed and destroy your team with Psychic / Focus Blast. Trick Room Reuniclus completely takes over the momentum and your team will have a hard time competing then, especially since he can just Psychic / Focus Blast and KO all your team members. Calm Mind Latias and Choice Specs Latios also decimate your team with the right prediction, as nothing can take those Draco Meteors from Latios besides Forretress, who can't do anything back. Same for Latias, who uses Forretress as setup fodder.

Therefore, I recommend using a Jirachi over Suicune, who seems a bit misplaced on this team, only slowing down your momentum a lot. The set is:
385.gif

Jirachi @ Leftovers | Serene Grace
Careful | 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Body Slam / Iron Head / Wish / U-turn

Jirachi beats Reuniclus by paraflinching it to death and 4x resisting Psychic, as well as great special bulk. He also beats Lati@s by resisting Draco Meteor / Dragon Pulse and paralyzing them, effectively neutering them. Jirachi also provides your team with much appreciated Wish support.

Next, your team seems a little weak to Water-types,as your only resist was Suicune, who can only hit them for not very effective damage. Therefore, I recommend using a Scarf Rotom-W over Magnezone, as he beats Water-types easily by resisting Water-type moves and hitting back with STAB Volt Switch. With this change, Drizzle teams seem a lot more manageable. The exact set is:
i_rotom_wash.gif

Rotom-W @ Choice Scarf | Levitate
Timid | 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Volt Switch / Hydro Pump / Hidden Power Ice / Trick

Finally, Toxic Spikes seems a bit useless on this kind of team, so I recommend replacing it with Stealth Rock, which helps this team out a lot more.

Good luck!

I have never had trouble with Reuniclus.. I dunno. I also have tried out Rotom-W instead of Scarfzone in the past and zone has worked better. But I'll give him a try.
I don't feel good replacing suicune with jirachi, the point of having a bulky water is, well, for a bulky water. Jirachi isn't a bulky water.
If the problem is Wish support I could give Vaporeon a try.
