Hello again! after about 2 months of hiatus with rmts, I have returned to make a very special one. If you didn't know, My friend and Goat
Monai and I have decided that after 3-4 months of tutoring, I am now leaving the nest, with a renewed mindset and upgraded brainpower to make good plays. As a thank you, I have decided to make this RMT In his honor.

Xatu, AKA Monai
Monai (Xatu) (M) @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Magic Bounce
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
IVs: 30 Spe
- Roost
- Night Shade
- Wish/Reflect/Toxic/Heat Wave
- U-turn
The main reason I wanted to build this team was Xatu, as its magic bounce abillity is great at anti hazard control against teams that are reliant on using mons like ferrothorn to get their rocks up. Colbur berry lets Xatu U-turn out of Tyranitar without any punishment, allowing it to run Wish to support Ferrothorn and Hippowdon, which is instrumental for winning the weather war. Roost is for reliable recovery, and night shade is for consistent damage. reflect and toxic are other supporting options, and heat wave is to act as the perfect ferrothorn answer, denying rocks and sniping it if it stays in with heat wave, but you do need some special attack EVs to OHKO it.

Hippowdon

Hungry Hungry (Hippowdon) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 76 Def / 184 SpD
Impish Nature
- Slack Off
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Fang/Rock Slide/Whirlwind
Hippowdon is the main Sand setter on this team, and can set up Stealth rock and is a splashable check to many hyper offense mons that would otherwise overwhelm this team. the defense EVs allow Hippowdon to live a plus 2 Garchomp Outrage, and Ice fang is to Kill multiscale dragonite after stealth rock. it also helps vs other dragons and notably scares gliscor out after it has been chipped a little. The SpDef EVs allow it to still (Somewhat) Check Volc if you put Rock Slide on it. Whirlwind can still be used, but you are much worse off vs Hyper Offense Teams.

Clefable
Analysis (Clefable) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Knock Off
- Soft-Boiled
- Ice Beam/Seismic Toss
Clefable is the prime candidate for checking Choice Scarf Latios Draco Meteors, and Magic guard is nice too. Max spdef is for other threats like Volcarona and notably walls anything that Rotom Wash Tries to do, making it much easier to play around. T Wave is always helpful to paralyze Reuniclus or Tyranitar, Setting up for your own Reuniclus Endgame. Knock off helps vs Ferrothorn and many others too, removing their leftovers which makes them easier to handle.

Ferrothorn

Spikes Ban!!! (Ferrothorn) @ Chople Berry
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip/Gyro Ball
- Thunder Wave/Gyro Ball
Ferrothorn is the perfect spikes setter on this team, as it can handle scalds all day, and dishing out damage with power whip. Leech seed is a workaround to the chople berry it is holding for a one time keldeo buffer, allowing it to get a lot more out of that steel typing. Thunder Wave also punishes Scizor with a chople berry, making it also much easier to play around. If using Heat Wave Xatu, then T wave Ferro becomes a fantastic partner, and even without heat wave Xatu, it is still good on it, but if you want to threaten Kyurem Black, then Gyro Ball might be a better option.

Latios

Ban Hammer (Latios) (M) @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Thunder Wave
- Roost
Latios is a great Keldeo check, along with being fantastic offensive support, it can shine its full defensive profile with Thunder Wave and Colbur berry to set up a Reuniclus endgame. Draco meteor still hits like a truck even without a choice specs, and can handle most dragons that aren't scarfed. Surf adds a good coverage move, and can nail Heatran and Excadrill too. Roost allows Latios to be a more functional Keldeo check as well.

Blob thingy

Big Stall (Reuniclus) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Recover
Reuniclus is the perfect Wincon for this team, as magic guard plus Calm mind allows it to set up freely vs many pokemon, such as Landorus-Therian, Rotom-Wash, and Ferrothorn. Psyshock plus Focus blast has almost perfect coverage, with psyshock hitting most targets for good damage, and Focus Blast hits Tyranitar and Ferrothorn. The only thing that these 2 dont hit are the very rare Sableye and Spiritomb, which are both handled by Latios.
