Gholdengo @ Steelium Z
Ability: Good as Gold
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Make It Rain
- Recover

Gold money rain drips onto the check! Gholdengo fits best on entry hazard stack bulky offense and balance teams that value its ability to preserve hazards against foes like Zapdos and Tornadus-T. At +2, Corkscrew Crash becomes a powerful nuke, deleting bulky foes or Steel-resistant Pokemon like Garchomp and Ogerpon-W while heavily denting Ting-Lu. Gholdengo is scared off by Dark-types like Kingambit and Hisuian Samurott, making teammates like Zamazenta and Urshifu-R greatly valued. Offensive threats like Mega Diancie, Ogerpon-W, and Hisuian Samurott also make excellent partners for Gholdengo thanks to their ability to pressure Fire- and Ground-types like Mega Charizard Y, Volcarona, and offensive Great Tusk. Additionally, Mega Diancie and Hisuian Samurott also provide hazard support. In return, these teammates appreciate Gholdengo threatening common defensive staples like Toxapex, Ferrothorn, and Clefable. Defensively, Alomomola and Gliscor are safe switch-ins to Fire- and Ground-types like Cinderace and Landorus-T while benefiting from Gholdengo's removal of Kyurem and Tapu Lele. The former also provides safe entry for Gholdengo with its slow Flip Turn and the latter can set Spikes.
