Zarude occupies a small niche in the tier as an offensive pivot by virtue of its solid typing, bulk, and Speed which, when coupled with a Choice Scarf, allows it to revenge kill notable threats like Choice Band Iron Boulder and Alakazam while still threatening bulky Ground- and Water-type defensive cores on bulky offense. However, Zarude's STAB moves are blanked by many prominent Pokemon in the tier such as Buzzwole, Mega Venusaur, Skarmory, and Hydreigon, which limits its effectiveness. Power Whip and Knock Off are Zarude's best Grass- and Dark-type STAB options, with Knock Off having an added benefit of removing troublesome items like Rocky Helmet on Skarmory as well as Leftovers on Celesteela and Clefable. U-turn allows Zarude to maintain momentum and helps exploit frail offensive Pokemon like Iron Boulder—forcing them into an awkward situation if they are on the field with Zarude. Stomping Tantrum allows Zarude to reliably revenge kill Iron Moth. Jungle Healing provides Zarude with the ability to cure potential status effects such as Scald burns from Slowbro, Will-O-Wisp from Rotom-W, and Toxic from Gastrodon and Hippowdon. Maximum Speed investment and a Jolly nature allow it to Speed tie with Choice Scarf Mienshao and enable it to outspeed Choice Scarf Hydreigon and Autotomize Celesteela at +2. Zarude finds itself on fast-paced VoltTurn and offense teams that appreciate its ability to pressure fast offensive threats such as Iron Boulder and Keldeo. Zarude appreciates slow pivoting support from the likes of Scizor and Rotom-W, which allow it to hit the field safely and remain healthy to check the aforementioned Pokemon. Slowbro and Slowking deserve a special mention, as they have access to Future Sight, which can cripple checks like Mega Venusaur, Buzzwole, and Okidogi. Zarude appreciates offensive partners like Mega Latias, Victini, and Iron Moth that can pressure physically bulky Pokemon such as Buzzwole, Skarmory, and Mega Venusaur. In return, Zarude helps whittle down special walls like Chansey and Slowking that can hinder these special attackers and outspeed faster threats like Mega Latias and Iron Boulder. Pokemon like +1 Blacephalon, Iron Moth, and Choice Scarf Enamorus can outspeed even Choice Scarf Zarude, and thus partners that can withstand their attacks such as Tapu Fini, Ting-Lu, and Gastrodon pair excellently with Zarude. Zarude appreciates entry hazard setters like Excadrill and Clefable, as they can help whittle down answers like Buzzwole and Amoonguss once it removes their Heavy-Duty Boots with Knock Off. In return, Zarude aids them by pressuring hazard removers like Excadrill and Rotom-W with its STAB combination.

Zarude occupies a small niche in the tier as an offensive pivot by virtue of its solid typing, bulk, worth including in general, being able to eat something like a Boulder CC or just any priority move before forcing em out is nice and speed stat which, when coupled with a Choice Scarf, allows it to revenge notable threats like non-Speed boosting Iron Boulder and Alakazam. Could also get into mentions of threatening defensive mons with stabs, one of its best traits is matching up into BO teams occupied by Water + Ground cores. However, Zarude's STAB moves are also blanked by many prominent Pokemon in the tier such as Buzzwole, Mega Venusaur, Skarmory, and Hydreigon, which limits its effectiveness in the tier. Additionally, without Choice Scarf its Speed leaves it susceptible to Pokemon it would otherwise check such as Mega Latias and Iron Boulder. Wouldn't state for this set specifically, maybe if SD gets mentioned or otherwise down the line, self-explanatory that it aims to be a rkiller so it should never get knocked. Power Whip and Knock Off are Zarude's best Grass- and Dark-type STAB options (respectively) remove brackets with Knock Off having an added benefit of removing troublesome items like Rocky Helmet on Skarmory, and Leftovers on Celesteela and Clefable. U-turn allows Zarude to maintain momentum and helps exploit frail offensive Pokemon like Greninja and Alakazam - forcing them into an awkward situation if they are on the field with Zarude. Stomping Tantrum allows Zarude to reliably revenge-kill Iron Moth. Jungle Healing provides Zarude with long-term sustain (able the ability to cure potential Add toxic from things like Gastro/Hippo too Scald Wash doesn't get :pensive: burns from Slowbro or Rotom-W) while also allowing it to absorb weaker Knock Offs from Pokemon like Zeraora. Again, definitely not this, I'd be fine if you moved Zera to the group of mons that can be outsped and revenged though. Maximum Speed Investment and a Jolly nature allow it to Speed tie with Choice Scarf Mienshao and enables it to outspeed +1 Excadrill Addy also technically does Choice Scarf Hydreigon and Autotomize Celesteela at +2. Zarude finds itself on fast-paced VoltTurn could also say offensive teams in general teams that appreciate it's ability to pressure fast offensive threats such as Iron Boulder and Greninja, while Zarude appreciates slow pivoting support from the likes of Scizor and Rotom-W, which allow it to hit the field safely and remain healthy to check the aforementioned Pokemon. I assume? Slowking deserves a special mention, as it has access to Future Sight which can cripple Zarude checks like Mega Venusaur, Buzzwole and Okidogi. Zarude appreciates offensive partners like Mega Latias, Victini, and Psychic isn't limited to running this, Sludge already forces Synth quite easily Iron Moth that can pressure physically bulky Pokemon such as Buzzwole, Skarmory and Mega Venusaur. In return, Zarude helps whittle down special walls like Chansey and Slowking that can hinder these special attackers. restate its ability to revenge faster mons for them, like? Zarude appreciates entry hazard setters like Excadrill and Clefable as it as they can help whittle down answers like Buzzwole and Amoonguss. In return, Zarude aids these hazard setters them by offensively pressure pressuring hazard removers like Excadrill, and Rotom-Wash with its STAB combination.

I would also include a dedicated section for defensive partners which help check the sweepers that Zaru doesn't outspeed (+1 Blaceph, Solchroma, and Gren) .etc

Similar to Kleavor, this is fine on its own. However, I would also like to see a bit more work on the overarching structure before I pass it over. lmk when the above is implemented.

Should follow this sentence up 'after it has removed their Heavy-Duty Boots with Knock Off' or the like, as boots are most common on both. In return, Zarude aids them by pressuring hazard removers like Excadrill, and Rotom-W with its STAB combination.
