I've been using this flying team for a while, but now that Thundurus is Uber, I need a little bit of help trying to find a replacement, but most importantly, I'm looking to change up this team a little. (So don't just tell me: "Use Zapdos and get on with your life.") I'm open to all suggestions. Btw this is a pure flying team. I don't use wildcards. Also keep in mind, I just got back into Pokemon after about a 3 or 4 month "vacation" so my strategies might be outdated.

Aeroga (Aerodactyl) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 2HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (-SAtk, +Atk)
- Ice Fang
- Stone Edge
- Aqua Tail
- Earthquake

I usually start out with this because of all the taunt leads out there. Back in the day when literally everybody carried Taunt on Aerodactyl, I chose the road less traveled. With this move set, I can usually take out the opponent's first (And 2nd if I'm lucky) Pokemon right out of the gate.

Discord (Staraptor) @ Choice Band
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 6 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (-SAtk, +Atk)
- Double-Edge
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- Quick Attack

The hardest hitting attacker of the team that takes out almost anything, often resulting in suicide, but well worth it. PO Sim says it's attack with Band is 558. Combine that with the damage from Brave Bird or Double-Edge + STAB + Reckless deals devastating damage to the opponent. No one is safe :p

Leviathan (Gyarados) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 156 HP / 72 Atk / 96 Def / 184 Spd
Adamant Nature (-SAtk, +Atk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Taunt
- Stone Edge

My semi-bulky Gyarados. Moxie wasn't out yet so I had to use this. Her semi-high Def and SDef help me get off a DD and attempt to sweep or stop the opponent in their tracks with taunt.

MagicMan (Xatu) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def/ 6 SDef
- Night Shade
- Reflect
- Roost
- Psychic

My one and only defense against Stealth rocks. I have a Rapid Spin Delibird, but he would get wrecked by the rocks before he would be able to get a spin out so this is my only choice. (And I'm too lazy to EV train it). I don't like the moveset at all, but I'm not sure what to put in. Suggestions?

373.gif

Pasca (Salamence) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 6 SDef / 252 Speed
Adamant Nature (-SAtk, +Atk)
- Outrage
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang

My sweeper of the team. Not much to explain here: Salamence is already scary. Add a scarf to that and he's scarier. Add Moxie on top of that and he gives the opponent nightmares. When Salamence comes out, and starts to sweep, it sometimes results in a ragequit -_-

642.gif

Vegeta (Thundurus) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (-Atk, +Spd)
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Nasty Plot
- Hidden Power (Ice)

His speed may not be over 9000, but Prankster makes up for it. Thunder Wave helps me deal with any scarfed or quick Dragon Pokemon and finish them off with HP Ice. I don't really need Nasty Plot, but there really is nothing else to put in. I rarely use it.

Stronghold (Dragonite) @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP/ 6 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (-SAtk, +SDef)
- Dragon Tail
- Roost
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Punch

He is apart of my team, but I rarely use him. When I do, I take out Salamence. Multiscale helps me get off some DDs to power up Dragon Tail and shove a fiery fist down Pokemon like Ferrothorn's throat.

So that's it. Like I said, I'm open to any suggestions and willing to take out more than one Pokemon. I would also appreciate any feedback :)
