Mono Water Team

This team has done surprisingly well for a mono team. It's also a rain dance team and it may become my main team. Without further ado, here is my mono water team:

Happy Feet (Empoleon) (F) @ Focus Sash
395.gif

Ability: Torrent
EVs: 156 HP/100 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Aqua Jet
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Beam

Best water lead i could find. With Focus Sash, Empoleon rarely fails to put up stealth rock. The other three moves are obvious

Squidward (Swampert) (M) @ Leftovers
260.gif

Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Roar

Swampert is my main wall and one of my two pokemon to take electric attacks. I'm not so sure about roar, it hasn't served me very well. I could use some suggestions on what to replace it with.

P Sherman (Lanturn) (F) @ Leftovers
171.gif

Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 40 HP/80 Spd/136 SAtk/252 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Discharge
- Surf
- Confuse Ray
- Thunder Wave

Lanturn is a staller and takes electric attacks very well. This parafusion set is to make the enemy attack as rarely as possible. With discharges chance of paralysis, it's not always necessary to use thunder wave.

Now ur a horsy (Kingdra) (M) @ Leftovers
230.gif

Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 180 HP/252 Atk/76 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Waterfall
- Outrage
- Rain Dance
- Dragon Dance

Kingdra is one of my two sweepers. With dragon dance, it can survive without rain, although i normally have it raining. Waterfall is its main attack, being powered up by rain. Also, outrage makes you use it more than once. Outrage is good for coverage, though, only being ineffective to steel types.

Seanut Butter (Tentacruel) (M) @ Damp Rock
073.gif

Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP/120 Def/136 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Rain Dance
- Surf

Tentacruel is a good rapid spinner and one of my two main rain dancers. I left it with surf to get powered up by rain and toxic spikes to add it's own stuff to the enemy's side. Tentacruel also takes grass moves without supereffectiveness.

Mexican Duck (Ludicolo) (F) @ Damp Rock
272.gif

Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 204 HP/104 Spd/76 SAtk/124 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Rain Dance
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Leech Seed

Ludicolo is one of my favorite pokemon. I normally use it instead of kingdra because of its grass typing. Since grass moves are normally effective to her, she can take those and use rain dance and leech seed to sweep like crazy.

Please read the rules, rule 3 in particular:

RMT rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

If you need examples of what kind of descriptions we consider acceptable in this forum, then take a look at the RMT archive at the top of the page. Feel free to repost if you fix them.
