"What is Fight Night?": This is a bi-monthly event hosted on the forums where two players will be chosen to face each other in a best of three series of SV Monotype! For each week the player of each series will claim the crown as the Victor and have the option to show off their teams sculpted for the ongoing Monotype Metagame!
"How will each week's players be chosen?": Since this will be a bi-monthly project, For the first week of each Fight Night, players will be open to nominations. Examples such as this will be "I nominate - [player], [player], [player]." You will leave a reply to this post containing usernames of the three players you would like to see fight. You may only post 1 time per week so choose wisely! The two users with the most mentioned nominations will get to face each other for the bi-monthly fight night! Please remember that once two players get nominated and fight, that they won't be able to be re-nominated for at LEAST 1 MONTH of the date of the nominations finalizing.
Week two focuses on the nominated players scheduling their match and posting their best of three in either the Monotype discord, or in the Monotype room publicly for everyone to tune in and view. Weekend scheduling for the participants who get nominated are encouraged, but never forced.
Voting will begin every 2 weeks starting Monday 12:00 AM -4, and end Sunday 11:59pm -4.
Players will have the week that follows to schedule and play their matches.
Remember, the 2 players who get nominated and fight can NOT be nominated again for 30 days.
