:EMBOAR:

Assault Vest Emboar (Fighting)

Emboar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Reckless
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 220 SpD / 40 Spe
Sassy Nature
- Fire Blast
- Sucker Punch
- Heavy Slam
- Head Smash / Wild Charge / Close Combat

OR
Emboar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Reckless
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 240 SpD / 20 Spe
Careful Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Sucker Punch
- Heavy Slam
- Head Smash / Wild Charge / Close Combat

Set Description

Bringing a neutrality to fairy type and with a good natural bulk, Emboar can be the glue to help fighting against fairy, bug, flying and ghost with the bonus of not being able to be burnt. It has access to a priority with Sucker Punch allowing to threaten faster mons. With its hidden ability Reckless boosting damages of recoil moves, Wild Charge becomes more threatening and Head Smash deletes Bulkyrona :Volcarona: which can become messy for fighting. Those two moves help a lot against flying too. Flare Blitz becomes even without invests a huger move. Heavy Slam 2HKO defensive Hatterene :hatterene: and 0HKO Flutter Mane :flutter mane: which 2HKO if choice specs and 3HKO if choice scarf. Fire Blast allows to threaten Skarmory :skarmory: and Forretress :forretress: without taking recoil for Flare Blitz + Rocky Helmet. Last option would be to play a fighting move but the team should have enough.

Teammates

Emboar can fit easily without changing too much the basic structure of fighting. It likes to have some hazard management with Great Tusk :great tusk: and a mon to take psychic moves like Gallade :gallade: or Scrafty :scrafty:. Then you would want a special breaker like Iron Valiant :iron valiant: that has a good toolkit. For speed Sneasler :sneasler: is always nice. Then you need a way against flying, water and ground. Lilligant-H :lilligant-hisui: is maybe the best for this but classic Urshifu-R :urshifu-rapid-strike: is always a nice threat.

Choice Specs Spectrier (Ghost)

Spectrier @ Choice Specs
Ability: Grim Neigh
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Draining Kiss
- Hex / Psychic
- Will-O-Wisp / Psychic / Hyper Beam

Set Description

Choice Specs Spectrier allows it to be immediately threatening instead of needing to wait for the perfect opportunity to set up. This can allow Spectrier to revenge kill more easily, which can put a lot of pressure on slower teams. Specs shadow ball can pick up surpise 1hkos on the likes of mamoswine and scizor with 1 layer of spikes. As well as 2hko most non max SpD walls. Draining kiss is to have coverage vs dark types. Hex can pick up 1hko on gliscor and 2hkos on statused special walls like Unaware Clodsire and Articuno. Psychic to 2hko SpD invested Toxapex and Clodsire. Will-o-Wisp can be used to burn A-Muk, H-Goodra and Clodsire, making them less of a problem for ghost teams. While Hyper beam can pick up 1hkos on Ogerpon-H and Ogerpon-W after 1 layer of spikes.

Teammates
Specs Spectrier really appreciates spikes from Froslass or Brambleghast to secure 1hkos as well as chip down special walls. As well as Gholdego to block all hazard removal and can spread status through twave or can break through SpD walls with nasty plot. Pecharunt can allow you to safely pivot into Spectrier with Parting Shot which allows Specs Spectrier to not solely be a revenge killer. Then stab fairy moves like flutter mane moon blast and mimikyu play rough to hit dark types.

Offensive Galarian Slowking (Poison)

Slowking-Galar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 192 HP / 168 SpA / 148 SpD or 252 HP / 16 Def / 144 SpA / 96 SpD
Quiet / Modest
- Psyshock / Future Sight
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake / Sludge Bomb / Power Gem

Set Description
Opting for move offensive spread, Galarian Slowking enables far more offensive pressure while still doing its defensive job. Psyshock puts far more pressure onto walls hoping to take on standard Galarian Slowking like Gallade and Gastrodon along with beating Quiver Dance Volcarona. Alternatively Future Sight with the offensive investment added will obtain an OHKO on all but the most dedicated walls when paired with offensive teammates like Sneasler and Iron Moth. Flamethrower melts Steel-types like Corviknight and Gholdengo attempting to take the king on. Ice Beam slams Gliscor and Landorus alongside Latios and Zapdos. Finally Earthquake when paired with this set turns Galarian Slowking into an even better Steel answer as it still checks Heatran while increasing its threat level against the rest of Steel. Alternatively Sludge Bomb adds on increased pressure as Galarian Slowking can use it to fish for Poison damage and more reliably handle Primarina while Power Gem will crush any Volcarona's dreams and can further increase our threat level against Flying. The EV spread used maximizes Galarian Slowking's special bulk enabling it to take a Landorus Earth Power after Stealth Rock, +2 offensive Gholdengo Shadow Ball, and 2 Choice Specs Kyurem Earth Powers while enabling us to OHKO stanadard specially defensive Gliscor 62.5% of the time and 2HKOing bulky Gholdengo Variants with Flamethrower. Alternatively, 252 HP / 16 Def / 144 SpA / 96 SpD can be used which while a hit to our offensive output, notably turning Gliscor's OHKO from a 62.5% to a 50%, increases our physical bulk immensely, notably allowing us to Survive a Scarf Meowscarada Knock Off and an AV Gallade Night Slash after Stealth Rock Chip. Quiet is for Earthquake damage, while Modest should be used if going all in on special attacks.

Teammates
While most teammates will be the same as standard Galarian Slowking sets (You use Alolan Muk for Ghost- and Psychic-types that threaten to overwhelm Glowking. Amoonguss, Galarian Weezing and Toxapex for physical threats and their utilities, Okidogi and Sneasler for Dark-types, Specs Moth because Landorus is annoying, you know the drill) Choice Band Sneasler and Okidogi are powerful knights can be paired with Future Sight to checkmate everything with their STAB Close Combat and Dark coverage outside of realistically Sableye. If one opts to run Future Sight + a Choiced Fighting, then dropping Sludge Bomb is a fairly easy option.

Choice Scarf Ninetails-Alola (Ice)

Ninetales-Alola @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Blizzard
- Moonblast
- Freeze-Dry
- Extrasensory / Aurora Veil / Dark Pulse / Hypnosis

Set Description

As one of Ice's fastest mons, Choice Scarf Ninetails-Alola allows it to function as a revenge killer that turns the tables of the fighting matchup. It also allows Ice to have reliable speed control without relying on weather being up; Ice's only other fully evolved naturally faster mons are Weavile and Froslass, neither of which really want to hold a Choice Scarf. This often gets a surprising amount of KOs from turn 1, as people will usually expect a lead screens lead and lead something that outspeeds it and deals a lot of damage, like Specs Iron Valiant, Specs Dragapult, or Banded Barraskewda, all of who just get outsped and OHKOed. Blizzard is Ninetails-Alola's strongest move, and does a solid amount to most offensive mons if unresisted. Moonblast is a fantastic STAB move which OHKOs most offensive fighting types. Freeze-Dry hits water types super effectively, and Extrasensory OHKOs Sneasler and Okidogi. Other options include Hypnosis to put something to sleep, Aurora Veil to set up screens, or Dark Pulse to hit Gholdengo.

Teammates
Scarf Ninetails-Alola doesn't really require a lot of support, but there are a few teammates that are worth mentioning. Avalugg deserves a special mention; it removes hazards from the field for Ninetails-Alola, and after Iron Valiant is successfully lured and removed it can sweep fighting with an Iron Defense set. Froslass's Spikes are appreciated for additional chip damage to get some KOs as Ninetails-Alola's special attack is a bit low for a scarfer; in addition, Froslass can kill slower, bulkier Fighting types that check Scarf Ninetails-Alola (such as AV Iron Hands) with Destiny bond, making it easier for Ninetails-Alola to sweep fighting. Stealth rock support (from say, Mamoswine or Piloswine) can chip Specs Latios into range of Ninetails-Alola's Blizzard.

Assault Vest Meloetta (Normal)

Meloetta @ Assault Vest
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 20 Def / 220 SPA / 16 SPD
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Energy Ball / Hyper Voice
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast / Dazzling Gleam

Set Description

With an excellent dual type in Normal/Psychic equipping Meloetta with an immunity to ghost and neutrality to Fighting type (A type that monotype normal often struggles to fight off against in this case of Ditto/Indeedee/Staraptor's absence) and a colorful movepool, Meloetta excels as one of the type's greatest special walls and offense by courtesy of its natural 128 base in both special attack and special defense and a respectable HP stat. This set aims to serve as an all out attacker with an added boost to special defense in order to comfortably absorb some of the troublesome special attacking pokemon, effectively allowing Meloetta to retaliate back with one of its coverage moves, with the given spread, it is notably able to survive a +2 Modest Dark Pulse from Darkrai, one Ceaseless Edge from Samurott, Knock off from Scizor (Even after Stealth Rock Damage), and various other wallbreakers such as Spectrier, Excadrill, etc.., Paired with Serene Grace, all of Meloetta's Offenses have a chance to transform from a 3hko to a 2hko by virtue of Special Defense drops if one is lucky enough, Psyshock is Meloetta's STAB of choice as it is able to combat special walls such as Vest Gallade, Blissey, Articuno, Clodsire and Flutter Mane (The first three options are all outsped by Meloetta when using a Timid Nature), Energy Ball allows Meloetta to hit Water and Ground types for effective damage such as Gastrodon, Barraskewda, and Ting Lu. Thunderbolt is also another way to hit Water types such as Empoleon, Gyarados, Pelipper and Toxapex for great damage, while also targeting flying types such as Moltres, Tornadus-T, Corviknight/Skarmory and Enamorus, and with a chance to Paralyze the aforementioned foes should it miss out on a KO. Focus Blast allows Meloetta to combat Dark types such as Darkrai and Tyranitar, Steel such as Archaludon, Goodra or Empoleon and Rock types such as the aforementioned Tyranitar while also having a chance to OHKO Ogerpon-C before it sets up. that would otherwise prove to be problematic for it to handle or some of its teammates. Dazzling Gleam is an alternative move so Meloetta is able to retaliate against Dragon types such as Latios, Dragapult or Walking Wake, while Hyper Voice is another STAB coverage for Meloetta to be able to nail Substitute users.

Teammates

Hisuian Zoroark is appreciated by Meloetta by providing a way to answer against Ghost types such as Sinistcha, Pecharunt and Brambleghast while also serving as an excellent Disguise pokemon as often times Pivot's such as Tornadus-T will find itself clicking Knock Off/U Turn which risks it of either Thunderbolt (Paralysis if lucky) or Trick and disabling the upcoming answer to Meloetta (Like Gliscor), Porygon2 is Normal's go to for Physical defense to deterr physical setups like Scizor and the Ogerpon formes and threatening Gliscor, Blissey is another special wall that can be used to spread status and setup stealth rock to break Focus Sashes/Sturdy to nail foes for the OHKO (an example is Ogerpon-C), Terapagos is appreciated in its ability to spin hazards away and scare Gholdengo with Flamethrower while also aiding in the Flying or Steel MU, Ursaluna provides a much needed wall breaking power when paired with Guts and Flame orb, allowing it to shred past bulky foes such as Blissey, Weezing, or Iron Hands with relative ease, Ditto can act as Normal's way of retaliating against Fighting types as it can transform into opposing Iron Valiant's or Gallade and spam them with their own moves such as Psycho Cut or Moonblast, while also stealing stat boosts and outspeeding them via its own choice scarf.

Set: Nasty Plot + Taunt Spectrier (Ghost)

Set:
:sv/spectrier:

Spectrier @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Grim Neigh
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Draining Kiss
- Shadow Ball
- Taunt

Brief Analysis:
Spectrier, along with other special attackers like Flutter Mane, serves Ghost's purpose as a late game cleaner. At any point during the match can it have some form of available option to setup a nasty plot and shred through teams who lack a decent specially defensive wall which Spectrier can make use of anytime after the designated wall is removed. Having teammates like Gholdengo, Fluttermane, and Ceruledge to help break through the defenses or do reliable chip damage for the horse to come in and show that it shouldn't be underestimated. Now why are we using Draining Kiss + Shadow Ball? Draining Kiss helps additionally throughout the Fighting matchup versus Scrafty, and can be a crutch versus Dark as well once Ting Lu is gone and you maintain Colbur.

252 Atk Meowscarada Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Colbur Berry Spectrier: 213-252 (62.4 - 73.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO. Meowscarada can't even put up a KO with a Choice Scarf set, so reliable chip on said feline is necessary as non special attack boosted draining kiss does approximately: 252 SpA Spectrier Draining Kiss vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Meowscarada: 158-188 (53.9 - 64.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO. So it's an eye for an eye. Now even with just +1 Spatk from Grim Neigh can Spectrier opt to recover all that good HP back and threaten out the feline or with good chip can it claim a KO and tear through Dark. I added Taunt to this set because lately Articuno and other Haze oriented Pokemon just LOVE to remove that much deserving SpAtk boost. Taunt also additionally prevents Pokemon like Toxapex and other walls from setting up Status or Hazards. This can break through Flying much easier after a Nasty Plot and a reliable Taunt can stop Articuno from removing all that good non-greedy boosting from you.

Hope you all enjoy! <3

Physically Defensive AV Hisuian Goodra (Dragon)

Goodra-Hisui @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sap Sipper
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt

Set details:
I put an assault vest on it because it has an abnormally high special defense already, and with the 1.5x special defense boost, my EV investment can go solely into HP and Defense. I added 4 special attack EVs to boost it's damage output a bit. draco meteor is for the mirror matchup as well as just getting high base power stab damage that is almost unresisted. Flamethrower is for the common steel and bug type teams, especially scizor on either, and against grass, but dragon should be fine against grass, and ice, which is bad for dragon in general, especially Dragonite. Flash cannon is for stab damage as well as fairy, which dragon struggles greatly with, and lastly thunderbolt for water stall.

Teammates:
Hoodra is well paired with Dragonite as Dragonite resists fighting and is immune to ground, Hoodra's two weaknesses. Otherwise Hoodra is meant to be a bulky pivot when threatened with ice, dragon, or fairy moves from the opponent. However without any physical investment it can easily be defeated by moves like icicle crash and play rough after two or three hits, so I tried to make it as physically bulky to be able to take both physical and special hits from the opponent, deflecting away from their teammates, and be able to properly put pressure onto the opponent and force out the switch.

Thank you for reading!

TL:DR
Hoodra is always a switch in to block it's teammates from supereffective ice/fairy/dragon attacks, but even with the steel typing it will still die after two or three hits, but with physical investment it can block physical hits better and have more longevity.
