Skyfall (Pidgeot-Mega) @ Pidgeotite
Ability: Big Pecks
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Beam
- U-turn
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
I chose M-Pidgeot because of the overwhelming power it provides. Anything that has no special resistance is in the trash bin (or in an Adele album). I find it can be risky to keep him alive, but also to sacrifice him. Keeping him can corner me late game against a special wall, but I lose power playing too aggressive. I find this Pokemon is an extremely powerful addition to the team.

252 SpA Mega Pidgeot Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 324-384 (92 - 109%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Mega Pidgeot Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Alakazam: 193-228 (76.8 - 90.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Absol Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Pidgeot: 118-139 (38.4 - 45.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Out of Control (
Skarmory) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Whirlwind
I needed a wall for the team, so I decided on good old Skarmory. I feel like Skarmory is one of the strongest walls in this meta. He can eat rock moves, switch in on physical moves and destroy rocks. Plus, he can do considerable damage with Brave Bird. In my opinion, Skarmory is the glue for this team.

252 Atk Aerodactyl Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 81-96 (24.2 - 28.7%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Ampharos Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skarmory: 175-207 (52.3 - 61.9%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Charizard Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 168-198 (50.2 - 59.2%) -- 78.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Suggested by all falls down
Life is a Storm (Zapdos) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 244 SpD / 16 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Discharge
- Toxic
- Roost
-Defog
I like Zapdos as he feels like another strong special sweeper. His Discharge can deal massive damage to any water or flying Pokemon. I also like him as he can take hit or switch in on bulky waters.
0 SpA Zapdos Discharge vs. 252 HP / 240 SpD Aggron: 114-135 (33.1 - 39.2%) -- 89.1% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and 3 layers of Spikes
0 SpA Zapdos Discharge vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Absol: 157-186 (57.9 - 68.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Zapdos Discharge vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Aerodactyl: 218-260 (72.4 - 86.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

honchkrow.gif

Fight to the End (Honchkrow) @ Life Orb
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Brave Bird
- Sucker Punch
- Superpower
I use Honchkrow as my physical wallbreaker. It can do massive damage and trap anyone trying to leave its grip. It is a good switch-in on Chansey, as it can 2HKO it with Superpower. I chose Honch over other physical birds due to my experience. I have made almost 100 teams over 5 computers, and about 1/3 have had Honchkrow on it.

+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Honchkrow Superpower vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 720-850 (112.1 - 132.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Honchkrow Superpower vs. 252 HP / 16+ Def Aggron: 588-691 (170.9 - 200.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Honchkrow Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Alakazam: 1009-1188 (401.9 - 473.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
gliscor.gif

Poison in the Air (Gliscor) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 8 Def / 200 SpD / 56 Spe
Careful Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Facade
- Roost
I use Gliscor as another physical wall and a switch-in to electrics. Using SD first is imperative. You need that power to defend, basically using attack to defend. Otherwise, you become a 2HKO for ice shard spammers like Mammoswine. I picked Gliscor for the same reason as Honchkrow. I have lots of experience with Gliscor, and he is on about 1/4 of the afore mentioned 100 teams.

0 Atk Gliscor Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Absol: 156-184 (57.5 - 67.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Aerodactyl Stone Edge vs. 248 HP / 188+ Def Gliscor: 91-108 (25.7 - 30.5%) -- possible 5HKO after Poison Heal
0 Atk Aggron Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 248 HP / 188+ Def Gliscor: 91-108 (25.7 - 30.5%) -- possible 5HKO after Stealth Rock and Poison Heal

togekiss.gif

Count your Cards (Togekiss) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Air Slash
- Trick
- Roost
- Dazzling Gleam
I chose Togekiss for the extreme fun you can have. I loved the trick scarf when I saw it being run. Even if you don't use trick, scarf gives you the speed to outspeed possible threats. This pokemon really rounds out the team and gives it flair.

Skyfall (Pidgeot-Mega) @ Pidgeotite
Ability: Big Pecks
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

- Hyper Beam
- U-turn
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave

Out of Control (Skarmory) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
Happiness: 0
EVs: 232 HP / 252 Atk / 24 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Frustration
- Iron Head
- Defog

Hey, really cool team! I love Mega Pidgeot and even though most people opt to go for Tornadus-T and save their Mega slot I think that Pidgeot performs a lot better vs some match-ups like Psychic and Steel. The overall structure of this team is pretty good, it's just that some of these move sets aren't exactly viable and other move sets would benefit the team much more, so that's what I'll focus on:

  • 227.png
First of all, your Skarmory set is rather odd; you say that it's meant to act as a glue for your team by switching into Rock moves and defogging away hazards, but you have a spread with 0 defense that fails to take on big threats like Terrakion, Mamoswine, Heracross and Mega Pinsir, and along with this you have no recovery. I suggest changing Skarmory's spread to 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD as it will allow it to switch in on the things it needs to be switching into, like the aforementioned Pokemon. In addition to this change, you should change Frustration to Roost, Defog to Stealth Rock and Brave Bird to Whirlwind. Frustration is really pointless and weak, and Roost gives Skarmory its needed longevity and lets it consistently check threats, and Whirlwind lets you phase out threatening set up sweepers like Mega Gyarados and Dragonite (both of which are big threats to this team.) Your team has no Stealth Rock which are absolutely necessary on this type of team, and Skarmory is a great user of them. This gets rid of your Defog user, but I'll get to that later. Iron Head is more useful than Brave Bird on a team like this because it gives you a check for Diancie and you already have Togekiss to handle Fighting types.

Thundurus is cool but your team is very, very weak to Electric types and many of your Pokemon lure them in (like Togekiss and Skarmory); Scarf Thundurus-t literally beats your whole team if it uses the right move, you say Gliscor is your Electric check but every Electric in the metagame uses HP Ice and on top of this you're using a spread with 0 SpDef so you'll get OHKOd by all of the Hp Ice. Because of this, I recommend Zapdos over Thundurus for a solid Electric switch-in. Zapdos also gives you a very reliable Defogger that can make sure hazards are off the field.
  • 472.png
Getting rid of NP Thundurus makes you lose an important wallbreaker, without it your team struggles with bulky types like Psychic, Dark and annoying Pokemon like Clefable. In addition, your Gliscor set now doesn't really accomplish much, as it doesn't have Toxic or Roost and your moves are quite weak. Because of this, I recommend SpDef SD Gliscor over the set you're using now. Gliscor gives you a great way to beat Clefable, Mew, Mega Diancie, and Rock Slide Landorus-I, all of which are huge threats to this team, especially the latter which can easily break through the Skarmory + Zapdos core. It's also a good status absorber.
That's all I have for you. Best of luck with this team!

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 8 Def / 200 SpD / 56 Spe
Careful Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Facade
- Roost

evs hit a bunch of jump points like taking on Bisharp better (Def evs and speed EVs), taking on Clefable better(SpD evs), and hitting a Poison Heal number (HP)

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 244 SpD / 16 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Discharge
- Toxic
- Roost
- Defog

speed lets you speed creep Bisharp and Breloom and other Zapdos

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Whirlwind

Thanks! I didn't notice the defense. I accidentally deleted Skarmory while making this and had to remake him. Glad I'm getting positive feedback on my first RMT!
