STAB Monotype STABmons

[Giyu]

Monotype STABmons is the metagame where Pokemon have access to moves that match their type even if they can't normally learn them! Using Eevee as an example, it can now learn every Normal type move. This also applies to Pokemon that change type(s) during evolution. That means Eevee can pass Normal moves to all its Eeveelutions. New moves are "taught" as if they were TMs. This feature offers more synergy among Monotype teams and potentially improves previously unviable Pokemon!​

Clauses

• Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot intentionally prevent an opponent from being able to end the game without forfeiting.
• Evasion Clause: A Pokemon may not have either Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.
• OHKO Clause: A Pokemon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.
• Same Type Clause: All Pokémon in a team must share a type.
  • For example, using a team with two Koffing would break this clause.
  • Using different formes on the same team, such as Rotom-W and Rotom-C, also breaks the clause since they share the same Pokédex number (#479).
• Sleep Moves Clause: Bans all moves that induce sleep as a primary effect, such as Hypnosis. (also bans Yawn)
• Terastal Clause: Players cannot Terastallize.
