I think someone suggested the former recently but they worded it very poorly without examples so I guess ill never know (and its under "needs more info")
Currently when building for monotype the teambuilder displays all Pokémon regardless of if theyre banned or not (banned ubers, urshifu, etc) as being legal for whatever reason (I think its obvious why people think this should be changed)
I also feel that displaying Pokémon without tiers (Ie not listed with OU, Uber, UU, etc) and all be listed together but still being listed by alphabetical order would make teambuilding for monotype a lot more convenient and newcomer friendly
