Doing predicts for this dead tour that i'm sure half of you forgot was still going, but here goes.
US West (5) vs Canada (3)
SS: TJ vs Kev- Feel like this can go either way, but I'm going to favor the mono main
SS: Shiba vs King Choco- This is one I really want to see, I think Choco is one of the better SS players right now imo, but Shiba is also really solid everytime I see him play, I think Choco will show up in playoffs and secure a W.
SS: Maki vs TheArchitect_- If you have not seen the Maki vs Havens game, then I suggest you go see it, so you know why im bolding Arch.
SM: Decem vs EviGaro- This is where I think the series takes turn, Decem was 0-2 at one point and has crawled back into a 2-2 record and I dont think that stops now, I like his unusual building, so I'm sure he has the recipe to get the W.
ORAS: taide vs Splash- Both players are undefeated in this tour, Taide is in my opinion the one of the best ORAS (with cell quitting) right now and I have Splash right there with him, I like ORAS Splash > SS Splash easily. That being said we have to have a winner, so I'm backing Taide with Attribute support to snag a win. (Remember, West weren't gonna have taide.....)
BW: Attribute vs KuraiTenshi26- I'm a sucker for some BW games, but I favor Attribute heavily here, no offense to Kurai, but I think Attribute is just that good when it comes to prep + playing the game.
NatDex: maroon vs Zap- I would never imagine bolding Maroon > Zap and apart of me really wants to be wrong here, but Maroon seems to have some plot armor when it comes to natdex, so im going with him.
Monothreat: Ticken vs ToxaNex- Weird tour for both of these players when it comes to Threat, but it's hard to ever bet against Ticken, so i'm taking him here.
Europe (2) vs US Northeast (6)
(I dont know much of the Europe roster, so excuse me if i'm dumb)
SS: Padox vs Finchinator- Padox is 3-0 but I havent seen any of his games, but I did watch Finch get froze like 15 times in 1 game with Freeze Dry, so I dont expect that to happen again, so i'm taking Finch.
SS: Fírnen vs Trichotomy- This is an interesting one here, Trich has been on the wrong side of MU so many times this tour, I'm sure Kaiser is leaking all of the prep somewhere, but Trich is just too good to bet against.
SS: Conflux vs Sabella- Another good match here, but Flux has looked off this tour, finally snagging a win last week, but I know how much of a cheat code Sabella is (Especially in BW) and I think that will be hard to overcome in an important match.
SM: QWILY vs Chaitanya- I think Chait was getting nervous that his free ring was in jeopardy, so here he is playing and it's hard to picture a world where he loses.
ORAS: Quaze vs Star- Every tour I see Star in, he is like 8-0, so easy one here.
BW: SoulWind vs North- An absolute FIRE mu here, both studs in BW, but I think SoulWind with some proper scouting can get it done, this will be my personal HL match to see from this week.
NatDex: StepC vs Isza- Not real sure on StepC, but I think highly of Kaiser, even tho he can be a HUGE headass, he is one of the all time greats and should get it done here.
Monothreat: TonyFlygon vs Bouff- Both having strong tours, but I think Tony is really good at threat + he is really involved and interested in Threat as a whole, that's not to say Bouff is not, but Tony just seems like he will have some special techs ready for this one.
Did my best with these, I think Europe vs East can be way closer, just because of the nature of SS, but we will see what goes down, I hope to see great games across the board, GL to all the teams.
