:enamorus::Gholdengo::ribombee::Roaring Moon::Great Tusk::Ceruledge:

Hello this is Shubby Lub aka BigChiken and shameless webs bot on ladder. I'm not trying to make two accounts; I just can't access the BigChiken one.

It's been a few months since I last played. For some reason, Araquanid is popular now. Kingambit and Zamazenta are both still in the tier. Nooby boots-spam teams are all over the place. Bleh.

Anyway. This is a fun webs squad I've used recently to get back on ladder. It seems pretty good -- it's alright, it's not great, but it's fine -- taking a few accounts to 1950+ without too much trouble. It's spawned from an old team back during the time of 2024's OLT -- some OU Room chatter was barking about how adamant moon was useless, so I made a team just to spite them and got top 5. I took most of the pieces from that team and moved them into the Modern Era of OU. It was probably a lot better back then. If you want to use this team now, take a tip from the king and be sure to triple queue, make horrid plays in all your matches, and still somehow climb. This is a team for intellectuals only. Viva La Webolución!

Sorry for the writing; English is my first language.

:enamorus::Gholdengo::ribombee:
Nearly all my webs teams have this core of three pokemon in some form. Ribombee is the best webs settter (more on that later). Gholdengo is THE way to deny removal. And specs enamorus is one of the biggest threats under webs, especially with tera stellar. They are a stellar (hurhur) special breaking core. The set permutations really don't matter all that much; I'll talk about some of the ways you can play around with that later. With these three, the rest of the team needs to cover weaknesses in: hazard removal, :cinderace:, :iron moth:, and answers to bulky offense stuff like boots :zamazenta:.

:enamorus::Gholdengo::ribombee::Roaring Moon:
Roaring moon was the next thing added, with adamant and tera dragon. This was a copycat move during the days of outrage tera dragon gouging fire (RIP, Chief). Roaring moon has EVEN MORE attack and hits some absolutely ludicrous calcs that shreds through fat stuff. There was that chonky blimax team from awhile ago with :corviknight::Dondozo::Slowking galar::Ting lu::cinderace:. -- at first glance, this looks like a horrible matchup for any webs team. Adamant Moon can DD turn 1 vs that team and then just click tera outrage and 6-0. Heinous power.

:enamorus::Gholdengo::ribombee::Roaring Moon::Great Tusk:
After that I tacked on mr OG reliable himself. Booster Atk Headlong is super strong and Temper Flare is a pretty guaranteed way to clear gholdengo or a steel bird, opening up avenues to enamorus or moon to win. With tera fire, this is also a fantastic choice vs strong priority from :rillaboom::Weavile::Scizor:

:enamorus::Gholdengo::ribombee::Roaring Moon::Great Tusk::Ceruledge:
Lastly, there is Ceruledge, adding some hefty priority moves (which all webs needs IMO) and answers to :dragapult:, :dragonite:, :cinderace:, and sun teams. Weak armor also makes webs mirror pretty simple. Mostly, I just got tired of using :raging bolt:

Here are some overviews of the sets and choices. I'm not going too in-depth on calcs or what stuff does. On ladder I don't think there's such a thing as "optimal" sets. Pick tera types and moves based on what you're seeing. I have a couple versions of this team with alternate ghold/enam/ceru sets just to throw opponents off.

Moonblasted (Enamorus) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Contrary
Tera Type: Stellar
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Tera Blast
- Earth Power
- Healing Wish

This is the primary sweeper of the team. It usually doesn't come in until late, but you can play pretty agressive with tera stellar tera blast when you see some fat core with gliscor as their fastest pokemon. It's pretty cheap tbh.

Moonblast and Earth Power hit most things. Specs modest moonblast is so strong that you don't need other coverage really. Healing wish is to give gholdengo a second life vs stall, or provide moon another go if flame body skillfully procced.

If you are queueing into lots of opposing webs teams (noobs), then change this to tera fairy and tera it to get the contrary. You can also change it a to a physical terablast set when those gking get too cocky.
webs pls (Ribombee) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Shield Dust
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 224 Def / 140 SpA / 144 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stun Spore
- Moonblast
- Skill Swap
- Sticky Web

Ribombee is the closest you can get to guaranteed webs. The counter play to this is a scarf flip turn/volt switch into magic bounce. The EVs are such that you always live boots triple axels from the cat and the rat, you OHKO univested Samurott and Tusk, and you are faster than OGER.

Tera Steel is to get webs up vs glimorra. You only need to use it there if they power gem you turn 1. Go tera ghost if you are seeing overwhelming more treads than glimmora.

Skill swap beats hatterene and stops opposing gliscor setups on lead. Stun Spore is pretty important to save vs boots zama late game or setup sweepers that try to go off turn 1, like DD kyurem. Probably click X if they have tera elec kyurem on turn 1.

On :araquanid:: No hate actually -- I think this spider is for a different type of webs team. Bee is for the all-in lead and sweep. You can play a little slower with the spider at the expense of less consistent webs. I am all about short games bb.
SMOKED (Gholdengo) @ Life Orb
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 32 HP / 252 SpA / 224 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dazzling Gleam
- Psyshock
- Hex
- Nasty Plot

Yeah dude, I use Life Orb Gholdengo, you got a problem with that? You see, it's actually a part of the plan. This makes great tusk click headlong rush, subsequently lowering their defenses. You come in with enamorus, threatening moonblast. They tera steel in a panic to remove webs, but joke is on them, you click stellar blast and they lose.

So yeah...this is Shock-Gleam gholdengo with Hex. It obliterates fat teams. So does Tera Steel Life orb with make it rain. Just randomize the set tbh. Hex is over Shadow Ball to OHKO gliscors and sleeping :dondozo:; it also stacks up with stun spore. If you prefer araquanid, then cut hex. Fairy Gleam + Psyshock means you shouldn't lose to fat unless they have like steel toxapex. Even if they tera and kill your ghold, then you have enamorus to blow up the tera dark thing.
Gibbous (Roaring Moon) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 Atk / 80 Def / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Outrage
- Dragon Dance

+1 252+ Atk Protosynthesis Tera Dragon Roaring Moon Outrage vs. 252 HP / 4 Def :Ting-Lu:: 484-570 (94.1 - 110.8%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Protosynthesis Tera Dragon Roaring Moon Outrage vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def :Zamazenta:: 348-410 (107 - 126.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Protosynthesis Roaring Moon Outrage vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Multiscale :Dragonite:: 459-540 (142.1 - 167.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Protosynthesis Tera Dragon Roaring Moon Outrage vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def :Corviknight:: 204-241 (51.1 - 60.4%) -- 91.8% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252+ Atk Protosynthesis Tera Dragon Roaring Moon Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Tera Fairy :Kingambit:: 334-394 (97.9 - 115.5%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Protosynthesis Tera Dragon Roaring Moon Outrage vs. 252 HP / 4 Def :Pecharunt:: 388-458 (102.1 - 120.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
^stop running non bold pecharunt...

That's it. Just click buttons. Roaring Moon sets up on a lot of things that KO your early game pokemon. Slowking G wipe out the bee? dancing time. Scarf Dengo made it rain? Oops.

EVs go faster than Kyurem, I forget what the defense is for. If you have a better spead, lmk!
Umbral Hog (Great Tusk) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Headlong Rush
- Ice Spinner
- Temper Flare

Great tusk is a remarkably consistent thing to have on a team. It clicks headlong rusk and rapid spin most of the time. You use this to not lose to Giraffe :raging bolt: I I'm not a fan of bulk up speed boosting sets on webs; I think it is much much more valuable to have the firepower to OHKO dragapult, gholdengo, other stuff. Ice Spinner is an unfortunate necessity with Gliscor existing. Temper Flare, give you a punish to spin/ground immunes and with tera fire a sweeping threat on it's own right. Head Smash is pretty cool to tech-in over ice spinner sometimes. you can pop Stealth Rock on here too, but that's a little low-tempo.

252 Atk Protosynthesis Great Tusk Temper Flare vs. 252 HP / 196+ Def :Gholdengo:: 334-394 (88.3 - 104.2%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Protosynthesis Tera Fire Great Tusk Temper Flare vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def :Corviknight:: 446-528 (111.7 - 132.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Protosynthesis Tera Fire Great Tusk Headlong Rush vs. 0 HP / 0 Def :Dragapult:: 325-384 (102.5 - 121.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Crescent (Ceruledge) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Weak Armor
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Sneak
- Bitter Blade
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance

Ceruledge is a cool pokemon with helpful resistances and an ability to get you out of a pinch. It's another spin blocker, which is super nice to have when using non-balloon gholdengo. With sash up, this answers late game roaring moon, kingambit, cinderance, serperior, moth, tusk, some dragonite, yada yada. Sneak and Bitter Blade are pretty crucial. Close Combat over Poltergeist to KO tinglu at +2. Tera Fairy is to help live sucker punches, and more commonly to be immune to Scale Shot pokemon. Ceruledge is horrible vs dondozo unless you use tera ghost spell tag poltergeist. You have been warned.

Weak armor ceruledge is kind of a noob stomper. I'd recommend using bulk-up flash fire, or one of the other options below higher on ladder.
When using Stellar enamorus, it's nice to have hazard support. It makes those no-brain sweeps all that much easier. You can get that in a few forms through the Ceruledge or Great Tusk slot.

:ting lu: Ting Lu is OP. You can use red card ting lu and completely cover all the weaknesses of ribombee lead. This is the best way to use webs in my opinion.
:iron treads: another way of preventing losing to raging bolt, getting rocks and spin, all in one spot. It's damage is pretty low compared to tusk though.
:Samurott Hisui: with SD and tera ghost is a cool breaker + setter choice for webs if you are feeling weak to fat and dragapult. +2 aquacutter KOs the dog on a crit!

:raging bolt: tera ghost/fairy under webs is more powerful than Gurgi after he threw himself into the Black Cauldron. Great way to overloard special walls with enam+ghold
Boots offenses that don't rely on cinderace for hazard control are tough, especially if they use :zamazenta: + :Darkrai:/:weavile:.
Good rain teams are a good times to forfeit.
Non-choice :walking wake: on sun teams that can keep webs off (i.e. boots speedy tusk + hatterene).
:lokix: + a ton of support is annoying for any HO. btw, running protect on your sweepers makes them cry.
4-attacks :iron moth: with tera ground and dazzling gleam - this beats both ceruledge and roaring moon. GG.
:serperior: can be dicey if you don't think about it. You have enough that can live +2 leafstorms comfortably that if you lose to this you got outplayed.

If you want to see the team being used, check out "Shubbington" on PS for replays.

Open to any feedback!

Shoutouts to PS accounts "Johnny Tots" and "Elpets" for using some cool original teams. idk who you are, but keep doing you!

Check out Webs Discord (https://discord.gg/FR627WRRzg) if you haven't. Cheers to Duckular for making it. Looking to cook up psychic terrain webs and campaign for a Neutralizing Gas equivalent for items (Magic Room smeargle webs pls).

Wouldnt shadow ball > hex? The team has no way of leaving the opponent with any stats.

he modest can do good damage to scor even with shadow ball
252+ SpA Life Orb Gholdengo Hex (130 BP) vs. 252 HP / 240+ SpD Slowking-Galar: 421-499 (106.8 - 126.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ SpA Life Orb Gholdengo Hex (130 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian: 372-438 (97.3 - 114.6%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Gholdengo Hex (130 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Iron Treads: 411-485 (128 - 151%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Gholdengo Hex (130 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Dondozo: 437-515 (86.7 - 102.1%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Gholdengo Hex (130 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Glimmora: 368-434 (119.8 - 141.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

The paralysis comes off your lead plays with Ribombee. I've tried working in T-Spikes support for more status, but I don't find it super necessary. There's some key OHKOs there were you don't have the time/tempo to click nasty plot and/or take two turns to KO.

That first calc vs Gking can be game-winning by letting enam just win on the spot if they have nothing faster.

Really like the team went like 7-0 with it although i feel like ribombee could use enough speed to outspeed ace in order to switch in on his court on one and then play both sides webs and maybe remove with tusk. Idk is you are missing some important calcs with less defense ivs, but for me it worked better

Thanks for the Team! Managed to peak #11 first time ever. Eventually swapped out gholdengo for mimikyu, which provides additional priority as well as an extra life as the team doesnt have pivoting. Swapped in supercell also to hit dozo harder.
