the fact of that yall made most of the game modes challenge only is a bit odd, all the older gens are just the watered down OU modes which if you wanted less rules its annoying, i feel like each gen should be important and not just favor the current gen and not much else, like yeah you can challenge someone but thats really inconvenient and the challenge mode select is huge so why cant it be like that and cluttering the ladder dosent make sense because i doubt many people check it and side note i feel jokemons like missingno and spiky eared pikachu should be added for fun

Adding ladders for those formats will just result in people sitting on the queue for way too long due to many of the old formats being incredibly niche now. Most people who want to play old niche formats are better off looking for challenges anyway. We also don’t want to clutter up the already incredibly messy format selection. To your second point, those pokemon are added and useable in custom games.
