Most Underused Pokemon Type?

Not my style to just post once on a Forum but I kinda need to know what people think is the most underused type in Competitive battling. I was discussing it with a few others and we though Poison was. I hope I can get a good answer.
 
Well, the two most common UU/NU types in the world of Pok'emon are Bug and Poison. Bug includes things like Beedrill, Scyther, Pinsir, Butterfree, Beautifly, Dustox, Mothim, Wormadam, and to an extent, Shedinja and Ninjask.
Poison includes such as Beedrill again, Dustox again, Arbok, Qwilfish, and others.
I suppose Dark could be included among some (Absol, Umbreon, etc.).
 
But Dark has Tyranitar, Bug has Heracross, two high-end OU Pokemon. The most OU Poison is Weezing. Fire and Ice are also rare, but they have Heatran and Weavile.

If you were asking in terms of move type, then I'd still say Poison. The only Pokemon who use Poison are Pokemon that get STAB, and even then, they sometimes don't.

Gengar's the most-used poison.
 
Heh, I was just thinking of Gengar in the "attacks" section as a Poison that rarely uses Poison, but for some reason I forgot about it in the topical part of my post.

No you all had it right. I just can't explain things well. Bug was my first Instinct.

Flying: Mence/Skarm/blah/
Steel: Skarm/Metagross/Jirachi/Bronzong/Heatran
Normal: Do I need to explain?
Electric: Raikou, Zapdos, Electivire, Jolteon, Magnezone (I hate you SePh. For this and 6-0ing me in CC with Magneton)
Psychic: Azelf, Cresselia, Celebi, Jirachi
Bug: Heracross, Scizor
Dark: Tyranitar
Fire: Heatran
Ice: Weavile, Regice, lol Jynx
Ghost: Gengar, Dusknoir
Poison: Gengar, Weezing
Fighting: Infernape, Heracross, Machamp, Hariyama
Water: Manaphy, Suicune, Swampert, Slowbro, Gyarados
Grass: Celebi, Sceptile
Ground: Rhyinferior, Garchomp a.k.a Gaburiasu, Swampert
Rock: Rhyinferior, Tyranitar, Aerodactyl
Dragon: Chompers, Mince meat
 
Electric. Electivire that basically neuters all other electric pokes.Making it the only one really used.
 
Zapdos was bigger last generation when it could still counter Gyarados reliably, but it does get a little use still as well.
 
I guess it is Dark then T-tar,Weavile










...............Wait for people to post and say that Spirtomb and Umbreon are used,Last week online saw a Drapion and Hounchcrow.Houndoom was bigger last generation when it was used to counter skarm but it still get little use.
 
Anyway, this has gone on enough to get you a decent answer(although I think the best answer would have been 'Who cares?').
