(Mostly) Offensive Rain Team

Hello, everyone. It's me again! I posted my Sun Team and got some nice feedback, so now it's my Rain Team's turn. Without further ado, here it is.

1) Politoed: Modest Nature, 252 HP/252 SpA/4 Spe @ Choice Specs.

Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Focus Blast, Hidden Power Grass.

Your standard Rain Summoning, Choice Specs using Politoed. Pretty self-explanatory.

2) Starmie: Timid Nature, 252 SpA/252 Spe, 4 SpD @ Life Orb.

Rapid Spin, Hydro Pump, Thunder, Ice Beam.

Again, pretty standard, and quite powerful in rain. I chose Thunder for it's accuracy in the rain.

3) Tornadus: Naive Nature, 252 SpA/252 Spe/4 Atk @ Life Orb.

Hurricane, Superpower, U-Turn, Hidden Power Ground.

Since I can't use Tornadus-T (Thanks butthurt person who couldn't handle it!) in OU, I am instead turning to Tornadus in his incarnate form. I feel as though it's lower speed and lack of Regenerator is somewhat redeemed by those incredibly important 30 points in both attacking stats. Hurricane is obvious, as is U-Turn for scouting. Superpower is for Blissey, Hydreigon, Heatrean, and Tyranitar, while Hidden Power Ground is for Heatran, Metagross, and (hopefully) 2HKOing Jirachi on the switch.

4) Raikou: Rash Nature, 252 SpA/252 Spe/4 SpD @ Life Orb.

Calm Mind, Thunder, Weather Ball, Aura Sphere.

I feel that Raikou is an amazing Rain Sweeper. He has pretty good bulk, and is very strong offensively. Calm Mind for sweeping, Thunder for it's accuracy in rain and increased power over Thunderbolt. Weather Ball for it's incredible power and good neutral coverage (it wrecks Ground Types), and Aura Sphere for Tyranitar, Ferrothorn, Blissey, Chansey, Hydreigon, etc. On a sidenote, do I have to make him shiny when using a Rash Nature, or what?

5) Bronzong: 252 HP/188 Def/68 SpD @ Leftovers.

Stealth Rock, Gyro Ball, Earthquake, Hidden Power Ice.

So, this thing is an amazing wall. How I wish it had access to Recover! The moves are pretty straightforward. Stealth Rock is always good to have on your opponent's side of the field, Gyro Ball is a strong STAB, EQ is good for Magnezone and Heatran switch-ins. HP Ice is for those Pokes with a 4X weakness to Ice, and always against Thundurus-T and others. In addition, Bronzong's only real weakness in Rain is his reliance on Leftovers as recovery!

6) Alakazam: 252 SpA/252 Spe/4 HP @ Focus Sash.

Psychock, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball.

My revenge killer and fast Special Attacker. He can kill a lot of things, even at full health. Weakened opponents stand little chance. All of the moves are self-explanatory, except for Energy Ball. I need a weapon against opposing Rain Teams. Specifically, I need something to OHKO Gastrodon and the occasional Quagsire.

Thoughts, everyone?

I am going to do a little self-analysis. I notice that I don't have a Fighting Type Poke. However, I do have Superpower on Tornadus, Focus Blast on Politoed and Alakazam, and Aura Sphere on Raikou. So I think I'm good there.

I also don't have a spinblocker. I don't want to put in a Ghost Type on this team, as I already am using Jellicient on a Sand Team. But, I am open to other suggestions for this team, regarding moves. I am pretty deadset on the members of this team, and the only Pokemon that I would consider changing is Alakazam. I know that I want a strong revenge killer that can also take care of Gastrodon and Quagsire, and Energy Ball Alakazam just seems to fit so well.

Solid team.I don't think you need a spin-blocker since your only hazard is stealth rock.
I would replace Alakazam with scarf Latios for the added offence and speed but Alakazam is just fine too.

Thanks a lot, friend.

Thank you very much, friend. I really appreciate that. As I'm new to the game still, my biggest problem is going to be prediction, and controlling myself, ie, not being hyper (a problem sometimes as I have ADHD and get caught up in the moment).

I find it fascinating that our weaknesses in the real world still carry over into video games.

Looking at my team, Scizor is giving me some worries. My Tornadus can probably OHKO him after Stealth Rocks, my Starmie resists Bullet Punch and can hurt him with Hydro Pump. Same thing with Specs Politoed. Calm Mind Life Orb Raikou can hurt him with Thunder or Weather Ball.

My question is, is Scizor a huge threat to this team, or I am just worrying over nothing?

Yeah.It all eventually comes to prediction and playing well.
Nope,I don't think scizor is threat to your team.He can't switch in on any of your pokemon freely and you have bronzong to take his hits(most importantly U turn)
